Strategic location to several sight seeing destinations (elephant mountain, sun & moon towers, east-west street, Jing's palace), very clean (housekeepers are super helpful to replace any towel or bedsheet when requested during our stay), friendliest receptionists (provide us a lot of info about traveling in Guilin, given us some free hotel souvenirs such as tote bags, magnet decoration & monk fruit before our departure). Although the street opposite the hotel was in the state of government construction works, it was a very quiet and peaceful stay. 100% would come back to this hotel if I were to visit Guilin again.”

Cudownie spędziliśmy czas w tym niesamowitym hotelu. Znajduje się on nieco poza granicami starożytnego miasta, ale tak naprawdę woleliśmy go mieć, zwłaszcza że oferują skutery elektryczne, którymi można dojechać samemu. To daje dużą swobodę. Sam pokój jest piękny; hotel jest zupełnie nowy, a widok zapiera dech w piersiach. Gdyby nie mała droga przed hotelem, byłby jeszcze bardziej idealny. Personel (naszym zdaniem to rodzina) prowadzi hotel wspólnie, co naprawdę wyróżnia go na tle innych hoteli w mieście. Śniadania są przygotowywane ze świeżo zebranych warzyw z ich ogrodu, a można tu również delektować się pysznymi domowymi obiadami. Dzięki aplikacji do tłumaczenia komunikacja przebiegała bezproblemowo, a hotel odebrał nas z dworca kolejowego i odwiózł na dworzec. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, to piękny, czysty i nowoczesny hotel z ciepłą i przyjazną atmosferą dzięki ludziom. Jeszcze raz dziękujemy!

We absolutely loved this hotel! The location was great, the staff were friendly and could speak English, and the food at the hotel was amazing. This was one of our best experiences in China. I would recommend this place to anyone. The villa/farmhouse we stayed in is perfect for big groups. The villa/farmhouse has 5 big bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with a shower and western toilet. The food at the hotel was brilliant! The courtyard in front was lovely in the mornings for breakfast, and the restaurant on the roof was amazing in the evening, looking over the mountains. We loved it, will definitely be back there soon! Thank you for an amazing stay and friendly hospitality.

Liliya and her staff went above and beyond to make our stay one of the best we experienced during our 3 weeks across China. They held us to arrange car from guilin and also to yansghuo. The room is lovely and the newly opened restaurant's food is delicious. Location is stunningly beautiful and it is in walking distance to the rice terrace . I would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for making our stay so special.

The hotel advertises as having an all-year-round open pool and it's not true. During our stay at the end of April with maximum temperatures above 30°C there was no pool to cool off, and the staff told us it was because it was still too early in the year. This was very disappointing as having a pool was the main reason for our choice of hotel, so I'd say this hotel didn't meet our expectations and they should state this clearly on Trip to avoid future confusion of guests. Other things to improve are the storage space in the rooms (there's barely any room to place suitcases etc) and the soundproofing (we were woken up several days by loud guests at 7am or earlier). On the positive side, the beds were comfortable (average hardness of mattress for westerners standards) and the shower was the best we've had in our whole trip through China: very modern, with good water pressure and no fluctuating temperature. The room thermostat worked really well and the hotel has some nice amenities for guests to use such as tea, massage chairs (a bit worn out but still working) and a vintage game console. The staff helped us with luggage, gave us information and even a small present at the end of our stay, which was a nice touch. The location of the hotel is in a quieter part of town, ideal for sleeping but still close enough to streets with lots of restaurants, cafes etc (try Heytea in west street if you can!). Overall it's been good value for money, although the hotel could do some clean up/refurbishment work and the pool availability should be advertised accurately.

I had a very good stay here. - the view is amazing. - staff is super kind. I could arrange local travels through the reception here. Good service and pricing. - Didi availability is good. They come quickly. - very close to a rafting place. - a small convenience store nearby - many local restaurants nearby. We tried one of them and had good meals. Highly recommend!

Had an incredible stay here! The views are stunning (probably one of the best out of all the other accommodations nearby), the room was clean and the service was friendly. It's a family owned business and everyone is lovely. If you're taking a bus, it won't drop you all the way to the hotel but if you give the hotel a call, someone can come pick you up from the bus stop. I had a bit of a miscommunication with my previous hotel who arranged a coach for us that dropped us off at a very far away drop off point and someone still came and picked us up from there with no complaints (and did not charge us for it)!! We were also dropped back off at the bus stop on the day we left. No one spoke much English which made it a little harder, but we got by with a translator app. There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the hotel which isn't great if you have lots of heavy luggage so I'd recommend packing lightly if possible. Having said that, if you have average fitness, you should be fine getting up and down the stairs, the trek is not too long. The views are definitely worth it! Would stay again for sure.

Pościel jest bardzo czysta, łazienka jest sucha i mokra, a łazienka jest bardzo duża i wygodna w użyciu. Suszarka do włosów i elektryczne zasłony są pierwszorzędne. Za oknem sięgającym od podłogi do sufitu widać błękitne niebo i białe chmury, zielone góry i zieloną wodę oraz lasy bambusowe, co jest bardzo przyjemne. Obsługa właściciela jest super, nienaganna i responsywna. Dostarczony przewodnik turystyczny jest niezapomniany, po prostu super.

The Riverview is a fantastic hotel to stay in Yangshuo! Located very close to Longtoushan wharf, it's very easy to get to if you come to Yangshuo via the cruise. The staff are very helpful, they gave me all the resources I needed during my stay, and were able to be contacted at any point via WeChat. The room was lovely, a comfortable bed and a fantastic view from the balcony! I'd definitely recommend the Riverview to anyone staying in Yangshuo.
