We had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They made sure to guide us clearly to the location they had provided, which made our check-in process smooth and stress-free. Throughout our stay, the team was always ready to answer all of our questions patiently and thoroughly. What stood out the most was how helpful they were in sharing additional information about the area. They went above and beyond by recommending great places to eat, and their suggestions did not disappoint, we got to enjoy some really delicious food thanks to them. Overall, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. It made our trip much more enjoyable, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

We enjoyed our stay here, so when we returned from Shangri-la to Lijiang, we made a repeat booking at this place. The cleanliness of the place and the friendliness of the staff were the main reasons for our return. Location: This place is situated near the border of the Lijiang Ancient City. It is close to the main road (2 min walk) which makes it easy to meet your driver for airport transfer or any tour you join. It is also extremely convenient to get to the main attractions such as Mu Residence (5 min) and Zhongyi Night Market (6-8 min). You will be away from the hustle and bustle at night, and get some peace and quiet. Room: We were lucky that we got a room on the ground floor, as we had very heavy luggage. It would be very difficult to pull them up the stairs if we were on the upper floor. Every room has a different name, and shows that the owners put some thought into giving each of their guests a unique experience. The room we got was of moderate size, with a small sofa area for you to enjoy tea and snacks. There was also a kettle and four cups, and a 5-litre water dispenser that dispensed hot and cold water - I appreciated this, which was more environmentally friendly and generous than other accommodation which gave us 2 bottles of water (500ml each) each every day. The room was also equipped with heating, for the room and the floor, and they were controlled by the front desk. There was also a humidifier. The room's interior decoration was warm and cozy. Outdoor: We also enjoyed sitting outdoors, idling, gazing at the fish, watching the flowers bloom, while enjoying many cups of tea. Toilet: It was of decent size, with a shower cubicle that dispensed hot water pretty quickly. They provided us with everything so there's nothing you need to bring: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, slippers for shower, towels for body and hair, one-time face towels, hair dryer, body lotion, soap, detergent. Service: The staff was hospitable, friendly, and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed chatting with them over many cups of tea, and rose pastries. They even recommended travel routes and restaurants to us, which were very good, and we even got discounts or freebies by telling the restaurants where we were staying. It was easy to communicate with the staff on WeChat, they responded promptly, and arranged free airport transfer for us as we stayed more than three nights. Food: Breakfast was served every morning, which included a bowl of Yunnan mixian (noodles), a steamed bun, a hard-boiled egg, corn, and some spicy preserved vegetables. Every booking came with one serving of afternoon tea, which included rose pastries and a variety of fruits. We arrived after midnight and the staff prepared some rose pastries and fruit for us, in case we would be hungry, which was very thoughtful of them!

I had a truly memorable stay at YUNDU and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, tastefully designed, and warm place to stay in Lijiang. Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out. YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful. First impressions were great. As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable. Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup. There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby. Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin. The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing. The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay. I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU.

The service was impeccable from the moment you confirm your reservation until you leave. They ensure that all and any questions and requests are proactively handled. Their room are exactly as it is with great local architectural vibes yet very warm and cosy. Bathrooms are very clean and no odor which can be a common issue in ancient cities. They are also very connected around and able to introduce restaurants/bars. **Excellent Stay with Outstanding Hospitality** I had a wonderful experience during my recent stay at Liqiang. From the moment I arrived, the level of service exceeded my expectations. The highlight of my visit was the exceptional hospitality provided by our host, Mr. Sing, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. He was incredibly caring and attentive throughout our stay, taking the time to help arrange our itinerary and providing valuable local insights. Mr. Sing's assistance was invaluable - he personally helped us with our luggage from the main entrance all the way up to the hotel, which we greatly appreciated. His local knowledge really enhanced our trip, as he introduced us to excellent dining options and guided us to the best shopping areas in the vicinity. The genuine care and attention to detail shown by our host Mr. Sing made our stay not just comfortable, but truly memorable. Our stay at Yinjian Inn was absolutely delightful, and we’d strongly recommend it to anyone traveling to Lijiang. The hospitality here is unparalleled and truly top-notch. From the moment we booked, the inn's owner reached out to us via WeChat. She responded promptly to all our queries, making us feel cared for and welcomed. Communication was smooth and friendly throughout our 3D2N stay. I really need to point out the EXCEPTIONAL service provided by the owner and staff. For those familiar with 丽江古城 (Old Town of Lijiang), you’d know how challenging it can be to navigate its cobblestone streets, especially with heavy luggage. The inn owner kindly helped us carry our bulky luggage from the Didi drop-off point to our rooms, which was a lifesaver. Moreover, she noticed that my grandparents had some difficulty walking and graciously upgraded us to a larger family room on the ground floor to spare them from climbing stairs. Every day, we were treated to dessert soup, fresh fruits, and a hearty breakfast. It felt like being pampered with home-cooked meals that left us feeling nourished and too full to enjoy the other street food sold in the 古城. Situated on 狮子山 (Lion Hill) within 丽江古城, Yinjian Inn boasts one of the best locations in the area. Perched at the highest point, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city, both from the rooms and the nearby Didi drop-off point, which is just a minute's walk away. While the walk down to the busier parts of the 古城 is easy and filled with charming shops and eateries, the climb back up can be a bit of a workout. However, the picturesque views and opportunities to rest and visit the stores along the way more than make up for it. Our room was clean and well-furnished, blending modern comfort with traditional Chinese aesthetics. The room included all the necessary amenities- also don't worry, there is a bidet with all sorts of cool functions. My family and I left with full hearts (and stomachs!) and immense gratitude for the care we received. Zarezerwowałem widok na półksiężyc, kierując się opiniami, że z dachu dziedzińca roztacza się widok na ośnieżone szczyty gór. Po przybyciu do pensjonatu i spacerze po dziedzińcu i dachu, natychmiast postanowiłem przedłużyć pobyt o kolejną noc. Dziedziniec nie jest duży, ale składa się z trzech części, pełnych sukulentów, a każdy zakątek jest malowniczy i niezwykle fotogeniczny. Widok z dachu jest szczególnie niesamowity; ośnieżone szczyty gór są tuż przed nami. Mieliśmy szczęście zobaczyć złoty wschód słońca nad górami dwa poranki z rzędu, a niebo rozświetlone kolorowymi chmurami wieczorem. Dach tak mi się spodobał, że prawie nie chodziłem na zakupy; oba popołudnia spędziłem siedząc na dachu, wpatrując się w ośnieżone szczyty gór. Pokoje w pensjonacie były również starannie urządzone. Łóżka były bardzo miękkie, ale w ogóle się nie zapadały, a jednorazowe kapcie były jeszcze lepszej jakości niż w pięciogwiazdkowym hotelu. Co najważniejsze, pensjonat zapewniał również jednorazowe ręczniki do twarzy i ręczniki kąpielowe doskonałej jakości. Oferowali również popołudniową herbatę i kawę, a właściciel i gospodyni byli bardzo serdeczni i pomocni, zajęli się nawet transportem bagażu. Najmłodsza córka właściciela była szczególnie urocza i sympatyczna, a na miejscu były też cztery urocze pieski. Atmosfera była idealna, a mój przyjaciel po obejrzeniu moich zdjęć zapragnął tam zostać.

Great location! Close to the intersection, very convenient for getting around. It’s not far from Sifang Street, and the homestay is right across from Mufu—perfect spot! The courtyard is beautiful, full of flowers and plants. The host is super warm and always invites me for tea when free. The tea is amazing! Highly recommend—stay here when you come to Lijiang!

The hotel is very clean and located very close to the ancient city of Lijiang. The room is equipped with projector and TV subscription! You can watch your favourite drama after dinner in the hotel =D. Around the hotel has few shops that offers many local snacks! Be sure to try out =D

I rarely write reviews for hotels, but I really loved their service. So far, this is the hotel that offers the best service. A staff member explained all the attractions and food options in Baisha Village in detail. They provide afternoon tea, evening snacks, and breakfast—all included in the hotel fees. They also offer other services like candle making and baking classes. Unfortunately, due to my packed schedule, I didn’t get to register for those classes. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my stay and the top-notch service provided.
