„スタッフの皆様がとても親切で、毎日心地よく過ごさせていただきましたありがとうございました。 清潔感のあるクラシカルなホテルで、ゲストの方も落ち着いた方々が多く、とてもリラックスできました。日中は観光に出かけてしまいましたが、次回はラウンジのベランダでゆっくりするのも素敵だなと思いました。 朝食ビュッフェも美味しかったです。 私はカレーとシチューが気に入りました。 公共の交通機関で箱根に来たため、桃源台からホテルの無料の送迎シャトルが夕方まで出ていたのでとても助かりました。また、チェックアウト後の桃源台までのシャトルの送迎も助かりました。 ホテルの近くにもバス停のようなものがあったので、次回はバスのダイヤなども調べてより柔軟に観光ができればと思いました。 周りにはレストランが無いように思えたので、次回はその辺のリサーチもしようと思います。”

„Расположен в 12-15 минутах ходьбы от ж.д. станции Хаконе Юмото. Отель старенький. Заселяли полдня, не могли найти наше бронирование через trip.com, пришлось обратиться в службу поддержки. Выдают юкаты (одинаковые для мужчин и женщин). Брали тематический ужин и завтрак, очень понравилась тонко нарезанная говядина кобе, которая готовиться на горелке на столе. Остальные закуски не понравились. Обслуживание очень медленное, заказанное пиво ждали двадцать минут и принесли только после напоминания. Просили в качестве гарнира рис, но его так и не принесли. Онсен раздельный, крытый бассейнчик и два чана одноместных на балконе. В понедельник людей было мало. Как опыт пойдет, но больше сюда не вернёмся, поищем что то посовременнее.”

„This is a wonderful place nestled in the forest. The hot springs have both indoor and outdoor baths, and the best part is they're private, so families or friends can relax and enjoy without worrying about other guests. The ryokan staff were all incredibly kind, making it feel just like home. (They offer Japanese, Chinese, and English services, so I think international guests can stay here comfortably.)”

„Zatrzymaliśmy się w pokoju wieloosobowym mieszanym i było bardzo wygodnie. Na początku byliśmy niepewni, ale wyposażenie jest bardzo dobre. Wspólne łazienki są nieskazitelne, prysznic jest bardzo czysty i duży. Łóżko było bardzo wygodne. Najlepszą częścią tego hostelu jest personel, są najsłodsi i bardzo pomocni. Uwielbialiśmy onsen i dostaliśmy też śniadanie rano. Zdecydowanie polecam. Ludzie, z którymi mieszkałem w pokojach wieloosobowych mieszanych, byli dość wyluzowani, więc nie mieliśmy żadnych problemów ze spaniem ani zostawianiem tam swoich rzeczy.”

„We enjoyed the rather spacious room and the view of rolling hills. With large beds and a tatami room, it felt rather luxurious. The entire place has an 80s vibe, but good thing we liked the nostalgia it brought for us. The room was quick clean too. Only that the outside balcony and windows had a few rather large spiders and spider webs. Good thing we don't have arachnophobia. They have two locations for their onsens at different timings. So that needed some getting used to. The onsens themselves are decent enough. Getting to the place was a little tricky as we didn't know what was the best bus to hop onto. We hopped onto the bus that Google Maps indicated was the most direct, only to realise as we were boarding that that bus was not covered under the Hakone Free Pass. On hindsight, to utilise the Hakone Free Pass, one should take the bus to Yunessen, the hotel next door and walk a short distance uphill. For the price we thought it was quite worth it, especially compared to some of the other hotels nearby.”

„The staff was very friendly and the amenities included use of the onsen for one hour was great as it was included within the price. The room was clean peaceful and had a nice Japanese vibe. Unfortunately, the room is not en suite. I would say the location wasn’t great as you should note it isn’t actually in the main area of Hakone but rather by the lake where you take the boat ride. You also have to walk up a hill to get there.”

„Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The traditional Japanese room was spacious and super comfy. The onsen facilities were definitely the highlight, way better than I expected for the price we paid. They have 3 types: 1 indoor, 1 outdoor and 1 mixed. All these are bookable throughout the day, from 7am to 11pm and they are completely private. The ryokan is 15 minutes walking from Gora station, so if you arrive by train and you have luggage I recommend you check on google map how to get there with a bus, otherwise you’ll have to walk uphill for a while. The only negative point I can find is probably the breakfast, I tried both western and Japanese style, they are both quite pricy for what they are and I personally did not enjoy the Japanese one. Despite this I would totally come back if I ever visit Hakone again.”

„The best place in Hakone. Everything is close by. There was an issue with the free shuttle upon check-in, but this is due to the fact that you can't contact the hotel directly, only through Trip.com support. We made the most of it upon check-out. In the room we were assigned, we discovered in the evening that there was no hot water. The next day, we were moved to another room. The onsen are wonderful – there are communal ones, which we went in the evening and were alone in, and there are private ones – they are small and more like jacuzzis. We liked the communal ones better. They provide yukatas and a basket – very convenient for the baths. The Japanese-style breakfasts are unusual. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available almost all day, and coffee machines are located on all floors and are available at any time. There is a grocery store nearby. There are many good restaurants near the station.”

„20 min uphill hike from Gora station. Or you can take cable train up hill for two stations and walk on flatland for about 8 minutes to hotel. Hotel has shuttle bus. They dropped us off on the way back. You can possibly call to pick you up at Gora station. Trip.com reservation options show you prices for one adult. It's very hard to book for 3 people to stay in one room to save money. I sent a custom request to the hotel exactly this - 3 people in one room. Trip.com charged me $270 and when I got to the hotel, they said I have to pay $300+ more for 2 more people. That was not clearly communicated to me by either Trip.com or hotel. There's a language and cultural barrier. In Japan, you pay per person - not by rooms. They scan your all passports of everyone staying - not just the person who books. With last minute notice, I had no choice but to pay more as other hotels nearby are filled up and we were very tired from 4 hours train transfers dragging our bags plus 8 minutes walk to the hotel. All in all, if trip.com room selections are not a perfect fit, I can't recommend booking this hotel. Custom messages are not recognized. Communication is lacking. You will get charged last minute without any alternatives left. For $570 a night, we could have a way better hotel in Hakone. The breakfast also wasn't memorable and you have to reserve it ahead of time. I would not come back.”

„The room is very nice with a lot of space and a nice view overseeing the river and small waterfall. The facilities like the private onsen is super nice as well. Public bath - we tried both , are good standard too. And super clean too. However, two things need to be mindful of: 1. The meal isn’t great as expected - they serve kids lunch as kids dinner, and for adults one, it is not the kind of nice setup I imagined 2. The tatami blanket is …. Below hygiene standard. I feel super itchy staying under the blanket and my boy got some bugs bite sadly. I hope they can arrange for a big clean up everytime.”
