My recent stay at the Kulangsi Resort in Xiamen was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was a special place dedicated to providing a tranquil and luxurious getaway. Wonderful Environment: The resort is beautifully situated, offering a perfect blend of lush, manicured gardens and serene landscapes. It feels like a hidden oasis away from the city's hustle and bustle, yet it remains conveniently located. The views are stunning, and the overall atmosphere is one of peace and relaxation. It's an ideal spot for both couples and families looking to unwind. Excellent Hotel Facilities: The facilities are top-notch. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and featured a modern design with all the amenities one could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Beyond the room, the swimming pool was a delight, and the fitness center was well-equipped. Every corner of the resort is maintained to a very high standard. Standout Service from 小陈 (Xiao Chen): While every staff member we encountered was professional and friendly, one individual truly made our stay unforgettable: a gentleman named 小陈 (Xiao Chen). His service was, without exaggeration, world-class. He was incredibly thoughtful and anticipatory, always seeming to know what we needed before we even asked. From offering insightful local tips to ensuring every small detail of our room was perfect, his attention to care was remarkable. He embodies the true spirit of hospitality and is a tremendous asset to the Kulangsi Resort. Verdict: I wholeheartedly recommend the Kulangsi Resort. The beautiful environment and excellent facilities provide the perfect backdrop, but it's the outstanding service from people like Xiao Chen that transforms a great stay into a truly memorable one. I had an exceptional stay at Mercure Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, offering personalized recommendations and prompt assistance whenever needed. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed with modern amenities that made my stay incredibly relaxing. The hotel’s location is perfect, offering easy access to nearby attractions. The staff also kindly gave me breakfast coupons. The breakfast was delicious and vairous. They change the menu everyday and provide the specialties of Xiamen. Overall, my experience was nothing short of outstanding, and I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Xiamen. We had a beautiful stay at Lan Hua Li and strongly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Xiamen. The setting of the hotel is gorgeous, on a hill just up from Shapowei. Walking distance (including to Nan Pu Tuo and Xiamen University), but a peaceful world away from the city overlooking Xiamen harbour. The property itself is very beautiful with a lovely outdoor area and gardens with a shallow pool, and a very peaceful bistro/cafe/bar. The rooms are beautiful. Just as you see in the photos. While the bed is lovely and the views gorgeous, the real winner is the bathtub in the bedroom. I'm not usually a bath person, but I bathed every night of our 6 night stay and loved it. In addition to this, there is also a very functional large bathroom with shower. What made the stay particularly charming is the kindness of the staff. Everyone - from the managers to the breakfast staff to the early morning cleaner who chatted to me while I had my dawn cigarette in the garden - was very welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. As a foreigner, with practical challenges travelling in China, I cannot emphasise enough how reassuring and helpful this was. We will always remember our stay at Lan Hua Li, and will recommend it to our friends and perhaps will come to stay again someday if we ever want a nostalgic holiday in Xiamen. Hotel was conveniently located near the airport, so is excellent for a stopover. The room has got all the usual amenities, is airy and comfortable, and the bed was big enough to comfortably accommodate my family of 4. We booked a room without windows, without knowing this, and asked for an upgrade to a room with window. I had problem paying for the upgrade, due to just arriving in China, and the mobile service payment not quite behaving, so the receptionist was kind enough to give us a free upgrade. But be careful about location, because there is another Urba S hotel also near to the airport. When returning to the hotel after a runaround the city, we went to the wrong one instead. But it's a short DiDi trip from this hotel to the right one.

Overall the room is nice but guess I had high expectations as it was written it's an international hotel. The breakfast was all Chinese nothing catered for the other customers, so much improvement is needed there. Also non of the front desk or anyone I came across in the hotel speaks English........... One good thing is the hotel is not far from the airport and the nearest subway station and bus stop is justt by the hotel. One does not need to walk far.

I was very thrilled to find this hotel when looking for a hotel in xiamen for a short stay as a solo traveller. The location is astonishing right on zhongshan pedestrian road which may be the most lively street of the town both day and night. The room was very clean and spacious and the staff services was top quality assisting with all the help needed. Special mention to the roof terrace with wonderful views and relaxing spot to have a café/tea and relax.

Wow....value for money hotel, with the good location. The ferry going to gullangyu island is in front this hotel. And you can walk arround near the hotel. Many street food and fashion boutiqe. I am very happy stay at this hotel. Next time go to Xiamen willing to stay at this hotel again.

The hotel has a great location near Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, making travel very convenient. The attitude of the hotel service staff is very good and friendly, which is quite good. The second floor offers self-service afternoon tea and cute robots that can deliver takeout to rooms. The guest room space is spacious, with both the second and third floors being guest room areas. There is a complimentary mineral water service downstairs, and upon check-out, a special product from Gulangyu Island in Xiamen was also given as a gift, which is very good.
