„the staff were helpful, and friendly. unfortunately, the hotel facilities not well-maintained. Once we checked in the room, we realised that there was no water supply for our rooms (we booked 2 rooms) at that level. the staff then explained there there were some repair/maintenance going on at the hotel hence the supply was off.. after a few attempts, muddy water came out. they promptly arrange for new rooms for us. as we booked the king size rooms (higher tier, though no highest), we were upgraded to their ”better” and more exp room at highest level.. we were delighted... initially.... when we opened the doors.. both rooms reeks of mouldy smell... we gotta open the window to air the room... the flooring also popping and peeling. The shower area also fell short of expectation. in general, super not well-maintained... and I won't ever stay here again until they refurbish /renovated the whole hotel.
good things.. got nice view...very prime location.. next door is the mall.. the bed and bedsheets were very comfy. that's about it.”

The service was ok. Welcome drinks are served but i think the tea isnt enough, so when we both arrived, we dont have it. But its fine.
There are two quite similar room type, i booked the higher price one but i got it a two single bed room, then we asked the receptionist. They changed us to a double room but the room space isnt what we expected.
Anyhow, we didnt change again. Then we started to unpack and look around, there are water leakage / unwipe water on the floor. And most important, the cupboard is fake on the left side and it dropped and hurt our fingers and toes.. but the right side has a small fridge? I dont understand the design or there is no remark on it… it is so dangerous!
Then the bath tub, was fine, a lot of black stains on it. Honestly, we dont dare to enjoy ourselves in the bath tub. Also the shower head isnt stable! It keeps falling…. Omg.. we stayed for two nights and we feel like it wasnt worth RM670++
One and only time.. i wished to have a nice staycation but it makes us disappointed..

AabdulmukmiinA proper hotel with its own parking compund. The hotel is quite new, with sufficient facilities like swimming pool and gym area. The room is spacious and complete with the basic toiletries. The aircond was good and cleanliness of the whole room is average. The only small problem with my room was the shower area. There's some sort of blockage with the drain but overall the shower experience was good with steady strong current flow. Overall, this hotel is very well worth the price of slightly above RM100.

Mamy kilka hicupsów na czek i ustaliliśmy, aby zmienić inny pokój, jak u można zobaczyć zdjęcia z frm katastrofa pierwszego pomieszczenia, które otrzymaliśmy powiedziałem PIC tylko łóżko i zlewozmywak jest czysty inni są wszystkie pyszne 😵💫
Przemieniliśmy się w inne lepsze pokoje stanowe również z niektórym plamą na stole n szafki, więc musiałem się oczyścić, zanim włożyłem coś.
Nie jest tak źle, ale powiem im nie an airbnb guest . 😅 i czuje się naprawdę dziwnie, gdy u zostaje w hotelu, ale jak tak dziwne u nie może parkować w tej samej jednostce i u po prostu nie czuje u są daleko na wycieczkę, jak miejsce u check in jak nasz sąsiad dom نوعاً ما czuje .

RRC8888Hotel is very conveniently located near makuta parade and 2 other malls, especially if you are going there by coach. There is a caring pharmacy just in front and many eatries around. Our 2 bedder family room was big and spacious but the carpets might need a wash and the room feels a but mouldy but we rented an air purifier that helped. Breakfast was average. Overall a good stay.

CCaren 鎂晴Overall, my stay was quite disappointing due to multiple issues with the facilities and management, although there are a few positive aspects worth mentioning.
1. The toilet flushing system is very weak and unable to properly flush waste. There is also no exhaust fan, causing unpleasant odors to linger after use.
2. The shower area lacks proper shelving for toiletries, which is inconvenient, especially for female guests. Although the space is not small, the towel rack is installed above the toilet, which is both unhygienic and impractical.
3. The unit is advertised as a two-bedroom space that can accommodate up to five people, which reasonably creates the expectation of having two bathrooms. However, the upstairs bathroom is locked and used as a storage room. This becomes highly inconvenient, as guests have to wait excessively long to use a single bathroom.
4. The doorbell issue that was reported earlier was never resolved.
5. The air conditioner remote control was initially not working, but a replacement was only provided later at night.
6. Only two out of four elevators were functioning. During checkout time, it became extremely difficult to get an elevator. Once inside, it stopped at almost every floor due to high demand. It took my family and me nearly an hour just to get from the 22nd floor to the car park. There was also no proper ventilation or air conditioning inside the elevator, which made the situation very uncomfortable and almost suffocating.
7. There is only a mirror in the bathroom, which makes it very inconvenient for guests (especially women) to get ready or do makeup.
On a positive note, the overall room cleanliness was acceptable, although the towels could be improved.
The interior design is visually appealing at first glance. However, the layout is not practical. Watching TV from the sofa is uncomfortable as it is positioned at an awkward angle. To face the TV directly, everyone has to sit in a row on the stairs, which is quite inconvenient.
Overall, while the design may initially attract guests, the functionality and basic comfort fall short of expectations.

SSamiy TanThis was my second stay at the Asia Hotel Malacca, which was renovated in 2025. Surprisingly, the bathroom was leaking and water was flowing into the living room (see picture). I had to be very careful to avoid slipping 😬 The first time I stayed here, it was called the Straits Hotel & Suites. Overall, the three-night stay was quite good 😊 I would definitely stay here again. Hopefully, they won't assign me room 1611 again next time🤞

HHolly QShower head water pressure too strong, cannot be adjusted. Housekeeping early morning 9am starting to knock the door twice for make up room until I put do not disturb sign. 24 hours receptionist never answer the call, need to take 1 hour to deliver water and towel for me.
Overall, the stay experience was not very good. The room was spacious but felt empty. The price was reasonable and offered value for money, but I would not choose to stay here again. This was a last minute booking. The view from balcony is nice!
