„Dobry hotel może wiele dodać do Twojej podróży! Kiedy po raz pierwszy przybyłem do starożytnego miasta Pingyao, hotel wysłał samochód, aby odebrał mnie ze stacji. Kiedy przybyłem do hotelu, zostałem mile zaskoczony doskonałym połączeniem zabytkowego dziedzińca i nowoczesnych udogodnień wewnątrz hotelu. Wygodne łóżko, schludny pokój i spokojny sen sprawiły mi wielką przyjemność! Hotel polecił także najważniejsze miejsca warte zobaczenia w starożytnym mieście, a także dokładnie poinformował o trasach spacerowych i ofercie gastronomicznej miasta. Piękno podróży do starożytnego miasta Pingyao z pewnością będzie dla mnie niezapomniane. Śniadania w hotelu są pyszne, to specjalność Shanxi, a smażone paluszki z ciasta są niesamowite! Głęboko smażona wieprzowina smakuje tu lepiej niż w słynnych restauracjach na ulicy. Na drugim piętrze znajduje się kawiarnia, która współpracuje ze Starbucksem. Można w niej napić się pysznej kawy i podziwiać piękny wystrój. Warto dać kciuka w górę! Następnym razem na pewno tu wrócę.”

„What a great boutique hotel. We were picked up at the train station and taken to the North Gate wall entrance and we walked about 200 m to the hotel. We were greeted by Ming Xia. She gave us recommendations on what to see. She even arranged the Hanfu photo shoot which was excellent. The hotel is a small (about 9 rooms) but beautiful, spacious & clean. We tried the western & chinese breakfast. Both was very well presented and tasted great. The hotel is beautifuly located. Definitely recommend this hotel. Than you Ming Xia!”

„A very nice hotel with very friendly staff and nice rooms. We recommend the VIP building. The breakfast was chinese and western. The hotel is placed outside the city wall and can be reached easily with taxi or DiDi, but only a few steps to enter the ancient city area. The only field to improve is some basic English for foreign guests, but at the end we managed to communicate :-). See you again!”

„Conveniently located about 100m from the main street in the ancient city and the South gate tower. The room was beautifully appointed in a traditional manner with lovely Chinese objet d’art, and matched their online pictures. We were picked up and dropped off from the train station, and our daily breakfast bento box was interesting, generous and delicious. There was also wontons or noodles, coffee, juice and yoghurt. The staff looked after us well.”

„The stay was just perfect 😍 it started with a pre-message on WeChat to organize the smooth pickup from the railway station. After that we had a very warm and friendly welcome at the hotel. The environment and the yard are so cozy, quiet and beautiful. The room itself was very lovely and super clean. All important things were available. A perfect mix of modern luxury and ancient architecture. The WeChat service was available all the time and responded very quickly, staff was amazingly friendly. The breakfast was pretty good and tasty, didn’t except such a delicious breakfast in a “small” city. Better than many 5 star hotels. Checkout was smooth and transfer back to the train station well organized in advanced. Nothing to complain about. Highly recommended! Thanks to all the stuff for this great experience.”

„Plusy + To nowe i piękne miejsce na pobyt. + Bardzo miła, przyjazna i uprzejma obsługa. + Przestronna łazienka. + Jeśli wychodzisz wcześniej, taksówkarz może odebrać cię przed hotelem. Minusy — Hotel jest zbyt drogi. — Nie jest to hotel dla niepalących. Dym unosił się nawet w lobby, a drugiej nocy był wszędzie w naszym pokoju (klimatyzacja?). — Pierwszej nocy spróbowaliśmy kolacji, ale nie była dobra. Mają zdjęcia jedzenia, ale nie pasuje do tego, co dostajesz. Zamówiliśmy sushi z łososiem, a zamiast tego dostaliśmy MROŻONE sushi, które oczywiście nie nadawało się do jedzenia. — Kiedy poprosiliśmy o herbatę na tarasie, zapłaciliśmy 48 juanów za osobę, co jest zdecydowanie za drogie. — Sypialnia jest trochę za mała i ma takie same rozmiary jak łazienka.”

„Excellent location with a nice intro buffet dinner for local cuisine and breakfast included. Next to an important Taoist shrine and provision shops. Also within 5-10 min walk from the “New East Gate” which is important if you want to take a taxi for sights outside the walled city. Note outside vehicles are not allowed to get into the walled city. Extremely helpful staff and the high speed rail station to hotel transfer service is much appreciated especially since outside taxi cannot get into the hotel location. We speak mandarin and found the ancient city tour guides well worth the money. Look for the guides with the standardised purple windbreakers in winter. Standardised price but worth every cent. Glad my family took the detour to Ping Yao”

„One of the best stay experience in China. The location is at the center of the old City. Close to many tourist attractions and the busy south street. The hotel rooms are just IN the traditional Shanxi luxury mansion. Very unique experience. But what makes the stay one of the best is the butler service. From the pre-arrival arrangement, post-arrival introduction of the old house, to the patient and warm service to our inquiries and requests, Juan’Er makes the stay really enjoyable.”

„My children (18/16 yo) stayed at Pingyuan Mansion for two nights. Our taxi from the Pingyao railway dropped us at the South Gate of the city wall. He called the hotel, who sent a trolley to pick up as they were not allowed inside the city wall. It has two lovely courtyards. Our room had automations everything. Breakfast was amazing for those who like of varieties of small dishes. The staff made arrangements to drop us off the railway. It is only a few alleys away from the excitements of street vendors, music, sit down restaurants and shops. You won’t be disappointed staying with them. Truly an authentic Pingyao stay.”
