„This hotel was not my original choice because to be quiet frank, the hotel looks a bit eery from the pictures then i happened to see that they’re just awarded one michelin hotel star. It changed my mind. And what a good decision to change my mind. There’s nothing spooky about the hotel, the vibes are warm. The design is minimalistic. The breakfast is good. The room is huge, the amenities are grown alchemist. They thoughtfully put outdoor and indoor sandals for you to wear in the room. They gave a free photography service and it turned out quite nice. Very happy with the result. Even if you travel to Yangshuo, this is the hotel you need to book!”

„We had a great stay at TUI Blue Xiangheli Hotel in Yangshuo and would highly recommend it, especially for travelers looking for a modern, design-forward hotel experience in the area. The rooms were a standout—extremely clean, thoughtfully designed, and very modern with a high-end feel. Everything felt new and well-maintained, which made it easy to settle in right away. Service was equally strong. The staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the stay, which made a noticeable difference in the overall experience. The breakfast buffet exceeded expectations. There was a wide selection of both Chinese and Western options, and the quality, presentation, and variety were all impressive. It felt well-curated rather than generic, which you don’t always get with hotel buffets. One of the most unique aspects of the property is its amenities. The hotel offers a range of experiences you don’t typically see—spaces for calligraphy, a rock climbing area, and even an on-site cave to explore. It adds a layer of character that makes the stay more memorable. Design-wise, the hotel is beautifully executed. There’s a clear attention to detail across every floor, and the overall aesthetic feels intentional and cohesive. The pool and rooftop garden were highlights. Both offer incredible views overlooking Romance Park, including the iconic three-headed statue and the surrounding karst mountains, which are especially striking when lit up at night. That said, there are a couple of things worth noting. Because the hotel is directly across from Romance Park, there is noticeable noise from the park’s performances in the early evening (roughly 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM). Additionally, there is ongoing construction on the opposite side of the hotel. While it didn’t take away from the overall experience, it may be a consideration for anyone specifically seeking a very quiet, retreat-style stay. Overall, this is a beautifully designed, amenity-rich hotel with strong service and standout views—just go in knowing it’s in a lively area rather than a secluded one.”

„Just wow. This is, without a doubt, one of the most amazing hotels I have ever visited. The location is perfect, the view breathtaking, and the room was beautifully furnished. The addition of a tub on the balcony was a particular highlight and truly spectacular. Despite a language barrier (the staff did not speak English), their hospitality was exceptional. Every interaction was marked by genuine warmth and attentiveness. The pre-arranged pickup from Guilin train station was seamless. They were incredibly patient during the introductory tour, using translation apps without ever making me feel rushed. I was especially appreciative of their effort to provide amazing vegetarian meals every day. The afternoon tea was beautifully arranged, and all three dinners (including the hot pot) were excellent, as was the breakfast with its wide variety of options. Additionally, I received a birthday cake as a surprise. The complimentary photoshoot was a wonderful touch, providing a beautiful memory to take home. I couldn't recommend this hotel more highly.”

Outstanding boutique hotel situated in the most beautiful spot by the Yulong River with breathtaking views in all four directions! We like how the style of the hotel reflects and complements the natural beauty of the area. There are abundant amenities and plenty of activities to pursue just around the property. It’s perfect for people who want to enjoy the beautiful pristine Shanshui of Guilin uninterrupted. We travelled with our extended family of 7 and everybody had a great time (especially our 2yo). The hotel is very kids friendly and the staff are wonderful. The swimming pool is immaculate and well equipped. We were also happily surprised by the quality of the food provided at the hotel. The ingredients were local and super fresh and the beer fish was very tasty. We ended up eating most of our lunches and dinners at the hotel. The room itself is gorgeous. We woke up everyday bathing in the morning sun with unobstructed views of the breathtaking Shanshui along the Yulong river! If you wake up early and go to the top floor, you will be rewarded with a special bonus! We are already looking forward to our next trip to Yangshuo and Xishi Jinshe!

Jakość usług przerosła moje oczekiwania 👍Od czasu mojego powrotu byłem zajęty, ale muszę napisać dobrą recenzję, bo było warto! Podczas zameldowania będzie Państwu towarzyszył osobisty lokaj. Udzielimy odpowiedzi na większość pytań. Pozwól, że wyjaśnię. Po pierwsze, hotel jest położony w wiosce w Yangshuo. Jest tu bardzo cicho, można spać w nocy i budzić się rano przy dźwiękach ptaków. Pościel jest również bardzo wygodna. Po drugie, w pokoju znajdują się suszarki do włosów marki Dyson oraz pralka. Jeśli ubrania, których używasz w wodzie, są brudne, możesz je zmienić na czas, by je wyprać i wysuszyć. Po trzecie, hotel jest oddalony zaledwie o kilka minut spacerem od molo. Rezerwacji noclegu na sztucznej tratwie bambusowej można dokonać wcześniej online, co jest świetną zabawą. Możesz skorzystać z autobusu wahadłowego za 10 juanów, który zawiezie Cię na inne molo, a następnie wrócić do hotelu. Po czwarte, śniadania są również bardzo dobre. Pewnego dnia zarezerwowano również lunch w hotelowej restauracji. To było naprawdę super niesamowite. Szef kuchni jest absolutnie gwiazdą. Our stay at Sooan was one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere in the world. As foreigners traveling through Yangshuo, we felt incredibly welcomed by the entire team. A special thank you to our butler Xiao Hui, who took wonderful care of us throughout our stay. He helped arrange transportation to nearby sights, answered all of our questions, and always made sure we were comfortable. His kindness and attentiveness truly made a difference. We travel often and usually stay at five-star hotels, but this boutique property offered a level of warmth and personalized service that often surpasses larger luxury hotels. Sooan feels like a true retreat — quiet, intimate, and beautifully designed. Some of the things we loved most: • Waking up to the dramatic karst mountain scenery through floor-to-ceiling windows. • Being away from crowded tourist areas while still surrounded by incredible nature. • Walking directly from the property into yellow flower fields with paths leading to the riverside. • Having river rafting just a short walk away. • Spending time at the small ranch feeding the deer and pony. • The genuine friendliness of both the hotel staff and the local community. The architecture and interiors are stunning — a thoughtful blend of modern design and natural elements that fits perfectly with the landscape. If you are looking for quiet luxury, beautiful surroundings, and warm, attentive service, Sooan is a perfect place to stay. We are very grateful to Xiao Hui and the entire team for making our visit so special. Tip: If you require a restaurant onsite, please double check with the hotel first, as it was not open during our March visit. They only served breakfast and light snack daily.

We stayed at JiYun Resort as two guests and had the most wonderful experience. From the moment before we even arrived, the team was already attentive and thoughtful. They noted that it was my birthday and surprised us with a cake, an extra gift, and even a hand drawn card. It was incredibly kind and meant so much to us. The front desk team was always on top of everything. They were responsive, proactive, and genuinely caring. The concierge support on WeChat was exceptional. No matter how small our question or request was, they answered quickly and clearly, which made everything feel easy and stress free for us as English speakers. Each evening, it was such a comfort to come back to a warm meal. The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and it became something we really looked forward to after long days exploring. The location is also excellent with beautiful views and easy access to the village, which made getting around simple and enjoyable. We had to leave early in the morning and were unable to attend breakfast, but the team kindly prepared a breakfast to go for us. The entire staff, including the morning security team, were warm, kind, and welcoming. As first time visitors to a Chinese resort, we were a bit nervous, but the team made everything seamless. They helped us with communication even before the stay, provided rain gear when needed, and gave helpful advice on where to go. Their care and attention truly made this experience unforgettable. We originally booked four night stay, however we cut our stay short by two nights. The reason are the following the food is not too fresh and lacks variety. The service is not exactly good, we had to ask twice to get towels. Furthermore, when we asked for two extra bottles of water, we were told we need to pay for it. I think the above is totally not acceptable for this type of hotel for this price.
