"Selma Spa has a fantastic location and great facilities. But the hotel does not live up to its potential in terms of staff. The restaurant staff felt ignorant and just wanted to get the job done as quickly as possible. Slamming with crockery, no interest in the guests except when paying. Down at the spa the same thing. Feels like a big business in the spa industry without consideration. Too many young summer workers?"

More like a homestay, there is basically no service, the bedding needs to be paid extra, you must contact the hotel in advance to prepare, otherwise you will not be able to use it if you arrive late. Late arrival time, you need to pick up the key in the key box at the entrance of the service center."

"Five months ago, we booked to stay on our way home to Särö from Åre. At 14.30, 30 minutes before our check in opened, we received a phone call that there’ll be a big party with DJ tonight so our sleep will be disturbed. No apology, just an offer of free cancellation. Being the Saturday of week 7 all hotels are fully booked in the region. When I asked why they didn’t give us more notice, I got the answer that they didn’t know how old our children are. I suggested we all need to sleep and that this was the entire purpose of the stay. Still no apology and simply reiterated that’s why they offer the refund. I’ve never before experienced such unacceptable behaviour by a hotel."
