"Booked one night here after I realised I needed an extra night in Suva with little notice. Checking in and out was great. They had plenty of rooms and did not require a deposit or any guarantee I would actually turn up for my booking when I reserved a room the night before. The bed was comfortable and the room was very average but clean enough, though the whole place is ancient and poorly maintained. Wifi is pretty non existent above the third floor and very average elsewhere unless you go down to the lobby. There is no real security here. Anyone can walk in and out of any floor without being questioned. After midnight a drunk came in and started banging on a door on the third floor looking for someone who apparently wasn’t even staying there anymore. Staff were lovely. Location was great. Room was affordable. If you just need a place to crash and feel confident about travelling alone or are with friends it’s fine."

"Certainly the worst of the worst. I stay in hotels 50% of the time for the past 16 years. This one takes first place as the worst, beating even PNG. Where do I start? Cockroaches even in the fridge, cockroaches eggs around the sink, cockroaches squashed on the wall. TV remote missing, A/C remote not working, furniture from the 1970, broken balcony glass, only one sheet on the bed, etc."
