„We booked a 38-square-meter family room, but stayed in a 10-square-meter room. The inn didn't have an elevator, and climbing up was a bit of a struggle for us, a 70-year-old. The bathroom didn't have a toilet, just a squat toilet, and getting up after squatting was a struggle. Showering was done with the toilet lid on top, which was tiny. The shower head couldn't be adjusted, so we had to hold it up with our hands to wash. We had originally planned to stay and not move, but had no choice but to find another hotel. This one listed online as 25 square meters, but it was more than double the 38-square-meter size! I wish all businesses would operate with integrity.”

„A friend recommended this hotel, and overall, it was fantastic! The receptionist was very kind and gentle, and she upgraded our room for free. The facilities were complete and cozy, and the lake view from the balcony was amazing—so pleasant! The hotel staff were all very polite, always greeting us with a smile, even the chefs and room service staff. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming everywhere. The buffet breakfast had a good variety of dishes, and the freshly ground coffee in the lobby bar was also excellent. At only 9.9 yuan, it was an absolute steal! [Thumbs up][Thumbs up][Thumbs up]”

„Nice hotel, right in the most attractive part of Taining town. It's a few minutes walk from the historic district, right on the river front. Easy access also to get to the natural scenic areas of the region. The hotel itself is nice, clean, well-maintained. The room is spacious and has modern features. The staff is very helpful, they do their best to accommodate a laowai customer. The only critique I have that is true for the vast majority of the hotels in China that the breakfast isn't exactly attractive for foreigners. One can of course eat Chinese breakfast with steamed buns and spicy soups and things like that most of the time, but occasionally I wouldn't mind to have a western style option available too. In a four star hotel I would expect this to be on the menu”

„首先要感謝老闆給我免費升級了房間！升級後的房間好大好大，還有一個大大的浴缸，可以泡澡。民宿的地理位置很好。就在大金湖的旁邊，在一個別墅區裏面，晚上非常非常安靜，可以好好的睡一覺。民宿距離大金湖的景區不太遠，開車衹需要10分鐘左右。周邊吃飯的地方也很多，如果有車的話，去哪裡吃飯都很方便。民宿裏面打掃的很乾凈，整棟房子一半是有電梯的，一半是沒有電梯的，裝修風格也是一半老式的，一半新式的。預訂前可以問清楚店家，住的是哪一邊的房間。前台的小妹妹很可愛，服務也很周到，據我爸媽説，還問他要了好多零食吃，真是不好意思啊。房間是每天一客一打掃，補充物品和更換布草都很及時。還有一點特別滿意的，就是網速非常快！總的來説性價比非常高，住的非常舒心，非常滿意。以後來這邊，還會選擇這家民宿的！”

„Initially booked a deluxe queen suite and Trip.com / hotel confirmed we could add a single bed. Upon arrival, hotel said they couldn't and changed us to a family suite even though they have rollaway beds available and the deluxe queen suite had ample space. Room: Family suite is spacious but A/C took very long to warm up the room. Bathroom is open concept with clothing rack situated outside the shower closet which makes it inconvenient to dress/undress. Breakfast buffet has a decent selection of Chinese dishes including a noodle station. Location: Hotel is ＜10 min drive from train station and old town area which is quite convenient considering that most of the hotels that are walking distance from the old town are dated and undermaintained.”

„We arrived Hotel around 9pm, we haven’t have our dinner and the hotel restaurant has already closed. It was surprised that the hotel provided simple and delicious supper. Yet it was free of charge for all hotel guests! Especially we were so appreciate that Ms. 邹慧英, she was so attentive, she organised for our meals, transport and trips arrangements. She has put so much effort to ensure we all comfortable during our stay. Her dedication to her work is highly commendable! The hotel might be old but the service is as good as 5 stars hotel. However, the setback of the hotel was guests are allowing to smoke in the restaurant and hotel rooms. It would be appreciated that the hotel should allocate smoker rooms floor or different sections of the hotel.”
