"One of those basic hotels the French seem to have so many of. In Castries for a ruby match so just a one night stay. Had a single room at the end of a corridor that was the length of the street! But room spacious and bed very comfortable. Only issue - the automatic self checkin system was a nightmare to operate. Joined a queue of people trying to gain entrance / get key codes. Took over half an hour (no staff on duty until later in the day). A slow and quirky system - needs to be reviewed. Otherwise its exactly as it says on the tin."

This is a very good one. Modern, clean and comfortable with friendly staff and a restaurant which serves good quality food at reasonable prices and we would definitely use it again. It is situated directly opposite the entrance to the train station where there is free parking and it is a 10-15 minute walk into the old town and its attractions."

Everything is walking distance, parking is on the street right below the room and costs about 8 euro a day. You can park a 10 minute walk away for free. The room was quiet with 2 sets of windows and a set of shutters. The wi-fi was fast and right in the room. The pool and garden area was beautiful and the owners a delight. A grocery store, cafe and old town just across the street."

(Two very minor quibbles: the door to the toilet didn't shut completely, and the sliding door to the balcony had no curtain, only a metal shutter.) The dining room and other public spaces were also simple, lovely, and focused on the gorgeous grounds. Didn't want to leave!"
