"I was concerned because of the many negative reviews. First, the negative: - The apartment was not very clean - The sofa seemed a bit rickety - The mattresses were okay - No kettle - No oven - The indoor pool was extremely dated, you're afraid something will fall on your head - No idea what the deposit is for - Extremely slow WiFi - The sink is dangerously not secured properly - Complaints are skillfully ignored, they lie that it will be taken care of, but nothing happens The positive: - The location alone, the drive to the hotel is great - The view from the terrace makes up for everything - The staff in the restaurant are friendly and absolutely top-notch - The food in the restaurant is highly recommended and delicious. Conclusion: We will visit Lake Garda again, but definitely not in the hotel."

"We had the most wonderful stay! Our room was one of the ones that opened up on to a terrace, so it was lovely to have our own table and chairs as well as sunloungers for doing absolutely nothing on. Loved the location- it's worth paying the extra for a lakeside view but your room will get quite warm when it's hot outside as the rooms are south facing. There were fans in the room- not air conditioning- that made sleep possible, however the cheaper rooms face towards the hill and would probably be significantly cooler. And even though they face on to a main road, was still pretty quiet. Bathroom had all necessary amenities and perfectly clean, bed was pretty comfortable and overall I slept well. Free parking, breakfast was pretty good- lots of different options on offer and being able to eat out on the terrace was a bonus- and a bar open till midnight. At least three excellent restaurants within just a few minutes walk of the hotel. The faults were pretty minor- the hand soap dispenser that always left a dribble of soap on the floor, only one electricity point in the room (that we could find) so you may need to bring a multi plug adapter with you and the old mini fridge that pumped heat out, making the room feel even warmer."

"I stayed at the Zanzanu hotel for the 3rd time this August with my husband and I must once again confirm the splendid past experience....the owners are very kind, the rooms clean and spacious, the buffet breakfasts rich and the dinners this year even more improved, compliments to the Chef... and the waitresses always attentive to everything and courteous... this year I am pregnant and the attention was even greater... so thank you and see you next time "
