Hotele w: Tokyo Station/Nihonbashi, Tokio

I stayed at this hotel for the past 6 years and the service kept degrading... the foreign staff there does not understand what ”Services” business means. The marketing staff dvertises a double bed by saying ”small double room”... we booked with trust thinking that it was a double ”bed” in a normal room. It was a single bed. I went to ask for a change (as we were two people), but the front desk woman insisted that it was a ”small double bed”... (120cm wide) she made me pay 15000 yen extra to get a double single beds bedroom... BUT, in that double single beds bedroom the ”single” beds are exactly the same size than the bed in the ”double bedroom”... after hours spent with Trip service and arguing with the manager, I could get a refund and they changed us to a small room with a narrow Queen bed. Disappointed. Will stay there again as a solo traveler for the area... but no longer my first choice.

Podstawowy, z wyposażeniem niezbędnym na nocleg, a jednocześnie bardzo wygodny. Pokój jest wystarczająco duży, aby w pełni rozłożyć bagaż i zapewnić przestrzeń do swobodnego poruszania się i siedzenia przy stoliku kawowym. Najlepsza jest lokalizacja – wszędzie jest Foo's, w zasięgu spaceru od Pałacu Cesarskiego i stacji kolejowej JR! W pobliżu znajduje się również centrum handlowe. Ulica Marunouchi znajduje się po drugiej stronie stacji kolejowej JR Tokyo – łatwo tam dojść pieszo. Pobyt jest wart swojej ceny. Uwielbiam darmowe napoje dostępne w lobby z poczekalnią, gdzie można odpocząć. Na tym samym poziomie znajduje się również pralnia samoobsługowa – bardzo wygodna. Poleciłbym to miejsce na kolejny pobyt w Tokio.

Nice location, peaceful and clean. Easy to reach from the subway station Kayabacho. Checking in and checking out went smoothly, and the personnel helped us to forward the luggage’s to Kyoto. The rooms are majorly 16 m2 so if you have big luggage’s moving around the room is hard but doable, we mastered Tetris and space usage. Don’t panic if sometimes your bed shakes as it’s common for the volcanic area. The beds are comfy and if cleaning requested, ask at the reception before 10 am.

The room was little (as we already new), but there were all the necessary amenities. It was very clean and at the reception you could find all the skincare products. Breakfast options were little, however everything was nice and well furnished. The staff was very kind and helpful. We will be back for sure if we will be staying in Tokyo!

The great thing about this hotel is that it is connected to the underground subway (Shin-Nihombashi), and it is not far from Tokyo station. From the underground passageway, there are automatic doors which lead you to a well-lit small corridor where there are escalators that go up to an indoor entrance to the hotel, but as there were no signs pointing to the hotel, I didn't know about this connection initially, and I dragged my large suitcase up a few flights of stairs that led me to the outside of the building. The night employee who met with me upon check-in was polite enough, but she seemed a bit rigid and cold. In contrast, the day staff whom I spoke with (Mayumi and Shie) were extremely friendly and warm. The shower head and shower hose in my room were leaking and dripped water every few minutes, but the sound was reduced when I closed the bathroom door. The daytime staff whom I spoke with offered to change my room, but I didn't take them up on the offer as I felt I could endure the muffled noise for the few nights I was there and I wasn't sure if the new room would have bad and noisy hotel guests next to it (the guests next around the room I stayed in were quiet and polite). The water pressure of the shower was good and the temperature was consistent. The decor of the room was far too dark. To be clear, I wasn't deceived; I saw the images before booking the room, and I chose this hotel anyway as it was a last minute booking and I felt the price and the location of this hotel were appropriate. The layout and space in the room (Superior) is a bit cramped, but I guess this is the same across many hotels in Tokyo. I didn't like the odd placement of the mirror and basin, as I could see the dark door in the mirror reflection. However, I liked that the toilet and shower were separated. The hand soap quality was not good - after using it, my hand would feel unnatural and dry. I did not use the hotel's shampoo or body wash, as I brought my own toiletries. The sound insulation in the room was great - I barely heard the other guests (I suppose because they were quiet and polite), and I faced an office building so there was barely any street noise. The corridors and room were stuffy, but turning the air-conditioning on helped a bit. I did wish that the windows could be opened to let some outside air in. Next to the lobby is a nice outdoor garden which you can sit in. Unfortunately, I did not have time during the day to enjoy this part of the hotel, and the garden is closed at night. There is a 7-Eleven right at the bottom of the building, very convenient! I did not have breakfast at the hotel, nor did I use any of the facilities, so I have no comment on those. Overall, if you don't mind dark room decor and the things which I didn't like don't bother you, I think you'll find this hotel just fine. It's still a nice hotel, so you can consider it for your stay.

Ten hotel znajduje się zaledwie kilka kroków od stacji metra Kayabacho. Stamtąd można łatwo dostać się do innych atrakcji turystycznych w Tokio... Pokój jest dość mały dla 2 osób, ale jest jasny. Mają dobre, lekkie śniadanie z tostami i kawą. I podstawowe potrzeby, takie jak piżamy, dodatkowa kawa i herbata, patyczki kosmetyczne, grzebienie i inne są zapewnione. Musisz je tylko sam przynieść z lobby.

The hotel's location is excellent. There's a Lawson convenience store within 100 meters, and it's a short subway ride to Suitengumae Station and Ningyocho Station. Plus, there's an airport bus stop about 500 meters away. Although the breakfast selection isn't huge, the food is delicious, especially the vegetable soup.

The hotel is supposed to have self-check-in, but because I had booked luggage delivery, the hotel staff kindly set aside time that day to hand over my luggage to the delivery person. Their service was truly excellent, and I'm very grateful. The hotel facilities are sufficient; there's laundry service, and the room even has a microwave and refrigerator, which is very convenient.

Pobyt w tym miejscu był dla nas przyjemnością. Hotel znajduje się w niewielkiej odległości od stacji metra, a w okolicy znajduje się kilka sklepów spożywczych. Pokój był czysty i wyposażony w niezbędne udogodnienia oraz przybory toaletowe. Chociaż hotele w Tokio zazwyczaj nie są duże, ten pokój jest nieco większy niż większość hoteli i mogliśmy pomieścić 2 duże bagaże. Po wcześniejszym przyjeździe pozwolono nam również zostawić bagaże w przechowalni. Hotel dysponuje również windą i pralnią.

Pokój jest trochę mały, ale lokalizacja jest stosunkowo dogodna (najbliższa stacja metra to Kyobashi, a do stacji JR Tokyo jest spory kawałek drogi). Uwielbiam to, że prysznic i wanna są oddzielone, w przeciwieństwie do niektórych innych oddziałów, w których nocowałem podczas tej i poprzednich podróży. Dużym plusem jest samoobsługowa półka z kosmetykami — są tam nawet chłodzące, żelowe plastry do stóp i nawilżające maseczki! Szkoda, że ​​nie ma kawiarni na miejscu, w której można by zjeść śniadanie w formie bufetu, ani powitalnej herbaty matcha, jak w sklepie Kyoto Premier. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, pobyt był udany i planuję wrócić na kolejne podróże.
