"Sylvia is an amazing hostess and her small boutique B&B is marvelous. She is very proud of the place and of her town and after a few days stay one can understand why. She can provide a lockup parking about 10 minutes walk from the B&B. Best to meet her either there else in the open square a block from the property as it is in a restricted zone where tourist cars cannot enter. The property has 3 guest rooms ( one on the same floor as Sylvia's home and two up a fight of stairs.) The rooms are small but fine. The wifi and aircon are both good. The small bathroom is fine too. There is a nice terrace next to the two upstairs rooms. A great benefit of the place is its location which is a 3 minute walk from the port area which is very lively. The old town itself is full of alleys where you can wonder for a few hours readily, and come across many small shops, bars and restaurants. About 600 meters from the B&B is a Lido with good quality umbrellas and sunbeds and the water is ok ( not as clear as more south like Monopoli area). Sylvia has an arrangement with the cafe downstairs where you can get breakfast. We had Italian cakes, coffee and orange juice which was fine given we were having lunches and dinners too. If you want to experience the old town and have a lovely clean place with an excellent hostess who will give you good restaurant tips, and get all this fir a good price then don't wait, book."

Nestled footsteps away from the sea, great restaurants and the park, SoTrani is the perfect B&B for anyone who values cleanliness, service, luxury and location when traveling. Our hostess could not have been more kind or generous with her time and attention to every detail. We started planning our return visit before we had left the property. Pure perfection."

"Trani Porto is a very beautiful place. The accommodation is well located with several drawbacks: Be careful, it is not a hotel (zero service) - the included breakfast is a big rip-off (Lavezza coffee in the room with delivery at 7:30 a.m. of some greasy pastries, no bread, ....). The welcome is absent. Comfort: meh, not even a large towel, just a bathrobe and a small towel - for a rugby player, abstain!?! And then we were there off-season, but even off-season, Saturdays and Sundays are just awful: very, very loud music, especially in a rooftop a few meters away!!! Last point: the restaurant on the ground floor has its cigarette break area right under the windows!!! In short, we loved Trani but not this place, which would have deserved a rating closer to mediocre."
