"Wonderful place to stay and visit Tropea! We were there for one night and this stay made our holiday special. The lovely Rossella and her family made sure we are happy and comfortable. It’s a true gem, clean rooms, beautiful view and very tasty breakfast with eggs, breads, cakes and delicious coffee! I will return here as soon as I come back to Tropea. It gives me a home feel at Villa il Barone ❤️"

"We had the most wonderful time staying at Rocca della Sena. The view from the terrace was incredible and was such a lovely place to be able to sit during sunset. Breakfast was very good and there were lots of options to choose from, including fresh nduja which is local to the area. The staff were probably the best part of the stay, though. They were so kind and generous with their time, always asking if they could provide recommendations for dinner or activities in the area, and made us feel so welcome. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tropea. We honestly have no negative feedback to provide!"

"Jest to przytulne, spokojne miejsce, 10 minut spacerem od centrum miasta - wystarczająco daleko, aby cieszyć się spokojem. Niedaleko plaży, blisko supermarketu. Staff is very friendly, helpful and desecret. Czujesz się częścią rodziny. Pokoje i cały obszar są eleganckie, ale przytulne i jest wyjątkowo czyste tutaj! Pokoje są urządzone codziennie, wszystko jest świeże , można prosić o pomoc w dowolnym momencie. Śniadanie- różnorodność słodkich dań, ale także szynka, salami itp., jajka, omelety, mozzarella & pomidory, warzywa, owoce, jogurt i zboża. Bez problemu, aby stworzyć swój posiłek. Pokojowa, przyjazna atmosfera, taktowa, bardzo miła pracownia. Wielkie doświadczenie."

"We spent two weeks in this fantastic place, in total relaxation. Here is the most beautiful terrace in Tropea; a dream breakfast with a view of Stromboli. They pampered us from start to finish, making us feel like family, paying attention to every detail. Very good food, especially excellent fish. Exquisite and very varied desserts starting from breakfast, prepared by the sweetest Zaira and Rossana. Sea very close, descent easily accessible even with three children, as in our case. We will definitely be back"

"We LOVED this intimate boutique hotel. The rooms were modern and spacious, and the location, just a few minutes from Tropea (and the associated chaos of people and cars), was perfect. We loved the views overlooking the ocean and city, and the incredibly vibrant sunsets over Mt. Stromboli each evening. The staff was so hospitable - especially Angelo, the owner. He went out of his way to make reservations for us and recommendations - and called in favors when beach clubs were booked to get us chairs, etc. The hotel had a great pool, and the breakfast was some of the best food we had in Italy - highlights were the fresh squeezed juice, prickly pear cactus fruit and the house-cured fried capocollo, which was insanely good. My fiancé is celiac and they even had fresh gluten free bread for us every morning and were very good about food safety. If you're lucky, Ginger, the owner's horse, may come greet you from the field below the breakfast terrace while slyly begging for croissants (we saw her eat three!). Parking is included and convenient, and there are two restaurants within a three minute walk for dinner. Could not recommend this little gem more!"

"The worst experience ever. €245 for a room that was old and dirty, like a penguin's air conditioning that stank as soon as it was turned on, so we had to decide whether to die of the heat or the stench. I highly recommend it."

"Very nice welcome. The hotel is superbly located with a view of the sea. From the hotel terrace, it is magical for breakfast. The latter was not included, but we had a nice choice of pastries, juice and coffee for a more than affordable price. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. A few minutes drive from the center of Tropea and the beaches."

"Total disappointment, horrible place from the outside, rude owner, liar, unpresentable, we had a very bad time! Do not stay thereeee, misleading publication, the view does not match what they say it has, the elevator has not worked for months, he kicked us out shouting at us because we decided not to stay, very bad experience! Tropea is beautiful thanks to booking we found another wonderful place!!"
