Although Maritim is a major chain in Germany as well as throughout Europe, this is the first time my wife and I stayed in one of their properties. All in all, a great hotel offering some incredible views of the Ulm Minster and the Danube. The check in was very easy with most desk clerks having various language skills. What I didn't like was how much more parking and the breakfast was added on to the stay. Still, I must say that the any breakfast offering champagne says a lot to us as we always enjoy several glasses before hitting the pavement to walk the city. We also closed out our evenings each night enjoying more wine and/or champagne. Next time, perhaps we will dine up here in the restaurant with a panorama view overlooking the Danube and the city. This place had an indoor pool; however, the water was not warm. Perhaps that was intentional to dissuade usage in this COVID environment. As Germany continues to open, I may have to start checking this chain out as we were overall impressed.

This a really nice hotel in every aspect. The rooms are larger and extremely comfortable and are spotless. The bar area is really nice and welcoming. The restaurant is very good and the quality of food is very good. The breakfast is one of the best I have had at a hotel in Europe. The staff are very helpful and extremely friendly nothing is to much trouble. The hotel has underground parking with a fee payable per night. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the city center and the train station. Once in the center there are many restaurants to choose from and if you have time at the weekend you can explore the old town of Ulm just a couple of minutes from the city center. I will recommend this hotel to colleagues who come to work in Ulm and also friends and family if they visit Ulm. Thank you to all the staff and management who made my stay so enjoyable..

I know a lot of reviews stated that the rooms where hot. Since the outdoor temperature during our stay was around 25 Celsius we figured - how bad can it be. Well - bad. In addition smoking is encouraged on the balcony - ash trays on every table. Window open and melt in an uncomfortably hot room or be woken up by smoke and conversations all through the night ????? People actually insisted that they weren’t loud. HAHAHA we and the other guests would not have woken up and we would not have asked you to be more considerate at 4 in the morning. Long story short - we will not be staying there again. If you need a room when it is 20 degrees Celsius outside and you smoke - go for it. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were small, but clean.

Das Hotel ist für einen Stadtbesuch echt gut geeignet, bei der Anfahrt nicht unbedingt gut zu erkennen, da würde ein größeres Aussenschild helfen, aber sonst völlig ausreichend. Das viel zitierte Problem mit der Tiefgarage samt Aufzug ist überhaupt kein Grund zur Beanstandung, lediglich halt ungewöhnlich. Die Zimmer sind überschaubar in der Größe und die fehlenden Ablageflächen im Bad nicht optimal, aber für einen Kurztrip okay. Die Lage im Zentrum und das Frühstück sind vollkommen in Ordnung und auch das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Preis ist angemessen für das Angebot und wer mehr will, sollte sich klar sein, dass das auch mehr kostet, daher hier: empfehlenswert. ☆

I found the B&B surprising value for money. Though located away from the centre, it's only a 10 minute walk to get there. Yes, the hotel stands by a fairly busy road and overlooks the main railway station but I was surprised how well sound-proofed the building was, and my room directly faced these areas. Also, bear in mind, activity on road and rail is minimal at night. The room with its bathroom/shower was to a high standard, modern, clean and functional. I'd read the reviews before my visit. On my arrival, I understood immediately why they were so good. If anyone is looking for an inexpensive stay in Ulm and doesn't mind stopping a little outside the centre, this place ought to suit. Out of choice, I didn't use the breakfast facility or the bar. It was a simple stop for me and I have no complaints whatsoever. For the price, the standard was excellent.

The hotel is located near the train station and is better to find. Due to the construction of the site in front of the train station, the environment is slightly messy. Hotel facilities are slightly older, but clean and tidy, the rooms are larger and more comfortable. The breakfast is ordinary Western style, I have traveled to Europe many times, so I am very used to it. As the city is small, the city is nearby, there are many shops and restaurants, and the famous cathedral is just a ten minute walk away.

Careful and friendly staff. Optimale parking for 10 euros, also with bikes, as from the parking house a lift leads directly to the hotel. No 10 minutes walk to the Münster and further 5 minutes to the fishermen district.

Just stay at this hotel and walk to the attraction.

I had booked this hotel at 05.10.2019 (for 3 persons), the reservation was also confirmed on the same day. The hotel stay would have been from 25.12.2019 to 31.12.2019. Unfortunately, then I received a dismissal on 07.12.2019, justifying that the hotel is closed from 29.12.2019 to 06.01.2020. After a telephone call with a staff member of the hotel, I learned that we would have been the only guests from 29.12.2019 and that is why the management decided to close the hotel. On the one hand, I understand that it is also necessary to keep the entire hotel operations running for only 3 guests, which is also cost-effective. On the other hand, I do not realize that we are the only guests to bear the head for it! That is not my problem - but here it was just made my problem! I think that is the risk of the entrepreneur - certainly not my risk! I didn't have anything but to look for another hotel for the travel period in the short term to avoid switching to another hotel after a few days of stay at LeoMar - that's too complicated to me! I can't recommend this hotel - and this without being a guest there! That's not how you handle your customers!

Surroundings are noisy which is to be expected in that location between Main Station and Shopping Zone. Windows really tune out the noise, as a consequence room gets quite stuffy and warm. Plenty of pigeons running around on metal framing above window, sounds like rats running inside the ceiling. This might be an issue of the sixth floor only, though. Staff mostly very friendly. Had one grumpy person but maybe they had just a bad day.

This trip went to several hotels during the trip. Except for the Hilton at the airport, this hotel was the most satisfactory one on this trip. The price is very affordable, the rooms are clean and clean. I heard that it was a new hotel that was renovated last year. I heard from the front desk that there is an old Riku Hotel about 10 minutes’ walk away from this hotel. Grundsätzlich schätzen wir das Konzept sehr. Eine angenehme Temperatur zum Schlafen ist mir aber auch sehr wichtig. Und das heisst, unter 20 Grad. Leider ist das in Ulm aktuell ein wenig schwer. Entweder man lässt das Fenster offen, was bei dieser zentralen Lage nicht optimal ist, oder man stellt die Lüftung an. Diese aber nur ab 25 Grad, also im Heizungsmodus. Reaktion der Rezeption, das sei korrekt so, man könne dies auch nicht umstellen. Für mich nicht nachvollziehbar, nicht akzeptabel. Wir haben in der Folge ein Zimmer im 4. OG, in den Hof, erhalten. Dort konnte man die Fenster problemlos offen lassen. Trotzdem bleibt ein ungutes Gefühl. Bis jetzt hatten wir diesbezüglich keine Probleme mit Motel One… überlasst es doch bitte den Gästen, welche Temperatur sie bevorzugen. Bevormundungen sind nichts für mich…

Entweder man lässt das Fenster offen, was bei dieser zentralen Lage nicht optimal ist, oder man stellt die Lüftung an. Diese aber nur ab 25 Grad, also im Heizungsmodus. Reaktion der Rezeption, das sei korrekt so, man könne dies auch nicht umstellen. Für mich nicht nachvollziehbar, nicht akzeptabel. Wir haben in der Folge ein Zimmer im 4. OG, in den Hof, erhalten. Dort konnte man die Fenster problemlos offen lassen. Trotzdem bleibt ein ungutes Gefühl. Bis jetzt hatten wir diesbezüglich keine Probleme mit Motel One… überlasst es doch bitte den Gästen, welche Temperatur sie bevorzugen. Bevormundungen sind nichts für mich…

I found the B&B surprising value for money. Though located away from the centre, it's only a 10 minute walk to get there. Yes, the hotel stands by a fairly busy road and overlooks the main railway station but I was surprised how well sound-proofed the building was, and my room directly faced these areas. Also, bear in mind, activity on road and rail is minimal at night. The room with its bathroom/shower was to a high standard, modern, clean and functional. I'd read the reviews before my visit. On my arrival, I understood immediately why they were so good. If anyone is looking for an inexpensive stay in Ulm and doesn't mind stopping a little outside the centre, this place ought to suit. Out of choice, I didn't use the breakfast facility or the bar. It was a simple stop for me and I have no complaints whatsoever. For the price, the standard was excellent.

Hotel does not make anything from outside, but within the rooms develop comfort. Great clean modern rooms. Very friendly reception. Breakfast does not leave any wishes open. Careful and friendly staff. Optimale parking for 10 euros, also with bikes, as from the parking house a lift leads directly to the hotel. No 10 minutes walk to the Münster and further 5 minutes to the fishermen district.

You get what you see on their website. Rooms small, but very clean. No work desk. Not much privacy as sink and shower are behind curtain, but otherwise open. Restroom separate. Surroundings are noisy which is to be expected in that location between Main Station and Shopping Zone. Windows really tune out the noise, as a consequence room gets quite stuffy and warm. Plenty of pigeons running around on metal framing above window, sounds like rats running inside the ceiling. This might be an issue of the sixth floor only, though. Staff mostly very friendly. Had one grumpy person but maybe they had just a bad day.

I had booked this hotel at 05.10.2019 (for 3 persons), the reservation was also confirmed on the same day. The hotel stay would have been from 25.12.2019 to 31.12.2019. Unfortunately, then I received a dismissal on 07.12.2019, justifying that the hotel is closed from 29.12.2019 to 06.01.2020. After a telephone call with a staff member of the hotel, I learned that we would have been the only guests from 29.12.2019 and that is why the management decided to close the hotel. On the one hand, I understand that it is also necessary to keep the entire hotel operations running for only 3 guests, which is also cost-effective. On the other hand, I do not realize that we are the only guests to bear the head for it! That is not my problem - but here it was just made my problem! I think that is the risk of the entrepreneur - certainly not my risk! I didn't have anything but to look for another hotel for the travel period in the short term to avoid switching to another hotel after a few days of stay at LeoMar - that's too complicated to me! I can't recommend this hotel - and this without being a guest there! That's not how you handle your customers!
