There are no people at reception 24 hours a day, so we couldn't complain. We were in horrendous heat. The location is far from everything. Positive: the rooms are enormous."

"From the moment we arrived, this place was like a fairytale! Birds singing, soft piano music in the common areas, the breathtaking views….. and the beautiful hotel! This really felt like staying in a sanctuary! We felt so relaxed and so blessed to be here! And the food!!! We had booked half pension board, and the food we got… we were blown away! Starter, main course and dessert every day, the food looked and tasted like it came from a Michelin restaurant ❤️they even had a pianist two of the evenings, he played so many nice songs. Breakfast was also a perfect start: You could choose omelettes in different styles, avocado toasts, pancakes… in addition to bread/ rolls, fresh fruits, cakes, meat and cheese+++ We stayed in room 15, with a balcony where you could enjoy the beautiful views. There was a wedding while we were there, and I can imagine they had a memorable day in these surroundings We didn’t want to leave yesterday, because this has truly been one of our best holidays!"

"Hotel Miraya is in a fantastic location—just across a quiet road from the beach in Torre del Mar, making it perfect for easy seaside access. Our superior room was spotlessly clean and serviced daily, and came equipped with a safe, fridge, and kettle. However, only two paper cups were provided for hot drinks, with no additional crockery or cutlery, which felt a little basic. Breakfast was included in our booking and served by the waitress from a small menu. Options included a hot and cold drink, and a choice of either a toasted sandwich or toast with jam. While simple, it was freshly prepared and served with care. A special mention goes to Montse, our delightful waitress. She remembered our names and drink preferences, and her warm, friendly manner made breakfast a pleasure each morning. My attempts at speaking Spanish were met with encouragement and smiles, which added a lovely personal touch to our stay. One unexpected downside: a friend of ours who lives locally came to visit, but was not allowed to join us in our room. The receptionist asked her to wait downstairs while we went up, which we found a little strange—especially as we were all female and no explanation was given. It didn’t spoil our stay, but it’s worth noting for anyone expecting to host visitors. Given the location and the price we paid, I’d definitely recommend Hotel Miraya to anyone travelling on a budget who values cleanliness and friendly service. Top tip: Cross the road and enjoy a meal at Casa Miguel on the beachfront—the food, drinks, and ambiance are all excellent."
