It was reasonably priced and, unlike many other properties, they allowed a one-night stay with no extra fees—perfect for road trippers. The Inn is pet-friendly, and my 3-year-old loved meeting Toby, a gentle Great Dane, and Jazz, a fluffy pup—both part of the charm. While children are welcome, I’d say the property is best suited for couples or small groups who can appreciate the historic décor. In the morning, we met one of the owners, who was experimenting with typeface stamps to create personalized cards for guests. We ended up geeking out over architecture, décor, real estate, and geography—especially fun since he grew up near our own hometown.
