"This hotel is tip-top. Nestled in a small, beautiful town, one is struck by the cleanliness of the hotel and the welcoming friendliness of its staff. Free water in the rooms, which are tastefully decorated to reflect the town‘s gold mining heritage. The dining room with a full , varied menu, is superb. The breakfast a wonderful variety of meats, scrammed eggs, sausage, rolls, etc, etc., just a delicious protein source to fuel the day. The staff is just beyond friendly, courteous and helpful. I just really cannot recommend this hotel too much. It’s just a great place!!!"

"Spaliśmy bardzo dobrze w hotelu i cieszyliśmy się basenem. Pokój miał latający sieć, która była super. Pokoje były hojne, nowoczesne i czyste. Obiad niestety nie jest warte jego pieniędzy. Jedzenie było częściowo niechłodzone w bufecie i w wieczornym BBQ byli na słońcu. Deser przeszedł i nie jedzą już (mój mąż miał diarrie później z skurczem żołądka). Świetnie zaprojektowany jest obszar spa. Jednak na lato dostępne są zbyt mało ekranów. To było tylko 30-40% łóżka w cieniu. Na potrzeby dalszych ekranów przyszedł tylko jeden połyk ramion. Barman był super. Jej koktajle były górne. Drogi były jednak długie, nie zakłócały nas. "

"Disappointing experience in this hotel, regretfully. I booked an apartment, presented as a space accommodating 3-5 people. Actually it was for 2 people and a small child, as the coach was not extendable. Additionally, the bed for the child was in a space not suitable for sleeping or living, less than 4 sqm, with no natural light and a window opening next to a wall, absolutely impossible to get air in and claustrophobic. I asked for another option to no avail, although the hotel was almost empty. On our way to the hotel we got a message saying that they do not serve dinner the next day - to be correct, they offered us the possibility to cancel for free, however our plans were already made and we were on our way. It should have been mentioned on the booking page… Furniture old, well maintained but somehow creepy, with part of the dressing above the night table and next to the bed (I was constantly afraid that I could knock my head when getting up. Bed was not comfortable, and pillows even less. Not the standard of a 4star hotel - for instance not possible to make coffee or tea in the room. The hotel borrowed us a kettle, - but I was shocked to find out at the check out that I had actually to pay the 5 eur for loaning the kettle! The people were nice, doing their job. Food was ok, many options, but at times either too salty or not salty enough. We waited more than 30 min for fried eggs and omelette, and we had to remind the waiter about our order - albeit we were the only clients in the restaurant. Will not go back!"

"Bardzo ciepło otrzymał Ad i Katja. Piękny przestronny pokój z balkonem. Czyste i higiene z dobrymi łóżkami. Royal śniadanie z różnymi świeżymi chlebami. Pies był również bardzo mile widziany. Ładne udogodnienia spacerowe w bezpośrednim otoczenia, restauracje i supermarkety w odległości spaceru, dobry pobyt i z pewnością porno, aby tu wrócić. "

Rodzina Meier jest super, pokoje są utrzymane i wygodne wyposażone, lokalizacja do historycznego rdzenia jest idealna i jedzenie jest grandios. Marc Meier jest szefem kuchni i zarówno śniadanie, jak i jego jedzenie w restauracji są pierwsze przekąski."

"Byliśmy w tym hotelu z paroma przyjaciółmi, w tym psy na weekend. Przyjazdem było pudełko z wodą i karmieniem, w tym paszami zupy i słodyczami gotowymi dla psów. Był również mat gotowy dla psa, top! Sam pokój jest duży, w tym mały bloku kuchni i lodówka, która jest bardzo miła! Zły pokój jest dobry z pięknym prysznicem. Śniadanie jest również dobre."

"Everything about this hotel was excellent, from the wonderful swimming pool complex with a view to the castle, to the knowledgeable and friendly serving staff, breakfast to die for – so much choice and quality, wonderful evening meals, a fantastic location. One could tell it was a well-run hotel with trained staff. We enjoyed the first three days of our German holiday there, and wished we had booked longer – thou our waistlines probably said not! At 178 Euros for B & B it’s not cheap, but very worthwhile. The Edersee area is worth visiting. We’d love to return."

"With my daughter and 2 mops dogs we went on holiday .a super fun pension good buffet food on the morning and on the evening and choose enough .parking enough .We had planned a face care and that was with massage there at super .Pension is located The hotel is located quietly not far from the centre and under the beautiful bridge you walk over is lighted in the dark .A swimming pool is also present .And very friendly people and helpful a real adviser ."

"We were here to lunch late in mid-September 2024. On the phone we were assured that the Bistro had opened. On site we had to find it was closed and shredded. We were allowed to take a place in a neighborhood of the restaurant where an Asian served us. A "Wild herb salad with goat fresh cheese" for 16.50 Euro was not more than a decoration on the table. If we hadn't asked for bread yet, I would have gone out more hungry than I had before. A small biker over 4 euros! Who wants to be angry or spend a lot of money on a dietary meal, can do that liked - I was here for the first and last time. Sometimes you read something about a hotel or restaurant over a long period and are disappointed in one or two points when you try it. In this case, however, I was just hit by the insolence in front of my head!!"
