"The hotel is well located, with Topsail and Henserson within easy driving distance. A supermarket is across the street, and good restaurants are nearby. Cleaning could be more thorough or frequent. The rooms are spacious and quiet, and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is limited but of good quality. The staff is friendly and helpful, though sometimes a bit indifferent. Overall, a pleasant new hotel!"

"Check-in was ridiculous. Somehow payment wasn't processed at check-in. Made trip back to desk in another building to resubmit payment. Once back at room door key didn't work. Had to go back to the desk in other building to get key reauthorized. This took the first two hours of vacation time and missed dinner with friends. Could not get anyone on the phone at front desk at any time. Building Ice maker didn't work. Staff said go to other building for ice. Worst vacation stay in last 20 years of travel."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Miramar Beach-Destin ★★

"Clean hotel, bed was comfortable. No complaints about the room. The pool was nice, definitely more suitable for the kids since the deepest part was 5 ft but most the pool was only 3ft. Friendly staff, only downfall was the elevator. Only one working and it was very slow. Would stay again."
