"Amazing lodge right at the heart of the Amakhala game reserve. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, you are made to feel very welcome and special in this beautiful location. The team here are excellent - friendly, warm, and delivering the highest levels of service. Special mention to Oli and Elvis. BBQ night and amazing singing and dancing from the team were a particular highlight. Game drives were brilliant - Tim was an excellent ranger and we saw everything we could hope to see. Highly recommend."

"Naprawdę piękne zakwaterowanie w pobliżu parku słoniowego Addo. Istnieją wzruszające wschodu słońca i zachodu słońca z pokoju, prysznic w pokoju i na zewnątrz, bardzo przestronne sypialnie i tarasy i tylko idealne miejsce do relaksu po długim dniu spotykanie zwierząt! Pracownicy są naprawdę pomocni i ustawienie jest po prostu niesamowite. Jedzenie było również niesamowite i umieścili na 4 kurs kolacji wieczorem. Była to również świetna wartość za pieniądze."

"Kamp Figtree jest około 11 km od głównej bramy w Parku Addo Elephant. Aby dostać się do niego musisz być gotowy do podróży na brudnych drogach, w górę Zuurberg Pass. Ale jest to SO warte. Kiedy tam dotrzesz, nie będziesz rozczarowany. Architektura jest tradycyjnym kolonialnym, z żelaza, naturalnego kamienia i drewnianych ścieżek, aby zabrać cię do szaletu. Każdy chalet jest w apartamentach, bardzo przestronny i wygodny, smacznie wyposażony i bardzo zalecany. Staff są dobrze wyszkolone w gościnności, i spróbuje zakwaterować każdy wich. Mieliśmy wspaniały 2-night pobyt tam. Jedzenie było top-notch, świetna lista wina, ogrzewania, gorące butelki wody, wszystko dla każdego komfortu. Dziękujemy Camp Figtree. Nie będziemy mieć wahania w polecaniu, i z pewnością wróci"

"Our two-night stay at Gorah Elephant Camp in Addo Elephant Park was without doubt the highlight of our entire South African / Zanzibar trip and the best safari experience we have ever had. The camp itself is simply stunning, perfectly positioned within the park and the level of service was truly off the scale - warm, attentive and effortlessly professional. Seeing elephants wandering around the camp was unforgettable and made the experience feel magical. Our guide, Chevin, was absolutely brilliant. His knowledge, enthusiasm and storytelling brought every game drive to life - and he even managed to get me genuinely excited about the birdlife (a first!) - not just the elephants! The service team were exceptional. Nadine, front of house, welcomed us with such warmth and professionalism and made us feel instantly at home, while Zorro and the rest of the waiting team ensured every meal and moment was perfect. This was a truly wonderful experience that we will never forget. We could not recommend Gorah Elephant Camp highly enough - a once-in-a-lifetime safari that exceeded all expectations."

"Stayed in an upstairs unit, self catering , fully functional amenities. Unit was clean and spacious enough. The only thing that put us off completely was the noise levels and inconsiderate guests. Unfortunately they host functions on weekends which carry on late into the evenings and on Sundays host a live music band for the whole afternoon. If you want peace and quiet don't come here as it's always noisy on weekends. There are 2 restaurants which offer good food but if you are self catering stock up before arriving as the small café offers bare essentials. Sadly If you want to catch up on TV time the actual TV was fit for the trash as it was dismal and the options for channel selection even worse. If you want to relax in the evening bring your own entertainment. In summary if you are a couple looking for a tranquil time stay away from here, as a family with kids it's great. There is parking within the grounds close to your unit but can become congested at times."
