"We chose this hotel again because of the previous experience being so good the week before. Unfortunately this time around there was a mistake in the type of room required and despite reserving a king size bed we ended up with a twin room. We called and informed the reception of the mistake and they checked if our previous room was available which it was not. They asked us to give them some time and after a short while, we were called back and informed that they will upgrade us to a suite for the night at no extra cost because of the hassle. We were quickly moved to the suite which was more than we expected. We had a great last night In Namibia relaxing in the suite at the hotel. Which had a lounge, dining table and bedroom and was clean and spacious. Thank you for your effort. Always well supported by staff and nothing was too much trouble."

Pokoje i wszystkie udogodnienia były zawsze bardzo czyste i dobrze utrzymane, co sprawiło, że każdy dzień był wygodny. Personel w hotelu był ciągle przyjazny i wyszedł z drogi, aby pomóc w cokolwiek potrzebowaliśmy, czy to lokalne zalecenia czy pomoc z planami na weekendy. Rozluźniona atmosfera hotelu była doskonała po długich dniach pracy, I jest jasne, że komfort i zadowolenie gości są tu priorytetem. Naprawdę doceniłem, jak bardzo uważne i zakwaterowanie pracowników było przez cały nasz pobyt. Jeśli odwiedzasz Windhoek dla biznesu lub rekreacji, bardzo polecam Hotel Uhland dla jego wielkiej usługi, czystości i przyjaznego zespołu"

There is a supermarket nearby, but the price is expensive. You can take a taxi to the big supermarket in the city center to buy things. There are cheap and fresh things. Taxis are cheap, prepare change, they don't accept US dollars. The exchange rate at the airport is a little worse than the money exchange places in the city. If you want to change 50 to 100 US dollars, change it at the airport. It's more than 2 kilometers from the hotel. There are many places with slopes in the city. It is recommended to call a taxi and negotiate the price before getting on the car."

"Nice hotel with two pools though welcome was rather poor. We had suite 1 which was very large with airco, a kitchenette and a balcony with a view over the pool. A disadvantage was that the curtains were very light and too small. Also, the bathroom light also lit the sleeping room. Breakfast was simple and Ok. Refills of coffee were free but for tea payable 🤷♂️. Never seen before. We did thoroughly enjoy a great dinner in the nearby restaurant."

Everyone here was so helpful - they even booked a table and taxi for us for an evening meal out. They operated an honest policy for drinks around the pool. Breakfast was excellent - a great way to start our holiday."
