"My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Blue Lagoon Resort for two nights in a self-contained cabin, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the pristine cleanliness of our cabin. It was evident that the staff takes great pride in maintaining the property, which made us feel right at home. The cabin itself offered the perfect blend of comfort and privacy, allowing us to truly unwind and enjoy our time together. We were thrilled to discover that we could see the beach right from our cabin! Waking up to the sound of the waves and the beautiful ocean view was simply magical. One of the highlights of our stay was the charming sight of rabbits hopping around the resort. It added a whimsical touch to our getaway and made our experience even more special. Overall, Blue Lagoon Resort exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of a clean, comfortable cabin, stunning views, and a peaceful atmosphere made for a perfect romantic retreat. We can't wait to return for another stay! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!"

Toowoon Bay Holiday Park
"When I booked with reception they said they had no concrete slab only nice grassy blocks. Upon arriving on our block we had hardly any grassy and mainly dirt. The block had a mat down that had big holes in it and we were 12 metres from the skip bins that hadn't been emptied in over a week. The smell was like rotton seafood and wafted inside our van and onto the washing I put out. Upon calling reception I was told by Reece's we know it smells but the Cleanaway truck has broken down,it's not our fault. Firstly why would they put anyone on that block? And secondly cleanaway has a fleet of trucks! While waiting for my husband to use the men's, the cleaning gentleman came along to do the ladies block and had finished in seven minutes, no wonder they smell. The toilets near us were old. And run down. The park has mainly permanents and a lot of the cabins are run down and shabby. The pool looked green! There were signs up advertising a pancake man but no date ever as to when and they were also advertising Australia day. .in march All in all a bad experience but the beach below is beautiful and if you score a seaside block views are great. Disappointed at the two calls to the office,and the staffs response finally was we can move you ,with one day to go. Who wants to then pull their annexe down and move. Won't be back, blue lagoon park much better- ."

"We stayed one night at a cabin in Norah Head Holiday Park and had a wonderful experience! The cabin was clean, spacious, and well-equipped — it had a kitchen, a dining area, a comfy living room with a 2 sofas, two bunk beds (sleeps 4), and a separate bedroom with a super cozy double bed. I slept so well! The location is great — just a short walk to the beach with beautiful views. Since we only stayed one night, we didn’t get to use all the facilities, but they looked well-maintained. There’s a swimming pool and a playground, perfect for families with kids. Overall, it was a lovely short stay and I’d love to come back for a longer visit next time."

"We comforted ourselves by deciding that this was probably the closest we'll ever get to staying at Faulty Towers. Lavender House is run by an elderly couple in their own large home, with Linda playing a kindly version of 'Sybil' and John playing the grumpy & nosey 'Basil'. Basil generally spent his energy criticising Sybil (and women generally) rather than trying to make us feel welcome. The apartment was clean and tidy with comfortable bed but poorly equipped kitchen (with a sign reminding us to clean up after ourselves). The sliding doors to the verandah and (interrupted ocean views) were were salt-sprayed and murky. The main disappointment was that the outdoor spa was not part of the Honeymoon suite but located on another deck accessible to all guests and only available between 5-9pm or by special arrangement. When we asked to use it Basil grumbled that it wasn't warm, it needed to be turned on with 12 hours' notice and we hadn't warned him in advance. We had to take the top off ourselves and we tried it out after a few hours heating. It was tepid but fine on a hot day and might have been better later that evening, but he announced we weren't allowed to use it more than once a day. The next day it was still barely luke-warm. In my brother's room there was a noisy old fridge (my brother turned it off the second night to get a better sleep) and strong cooking smells in the morning. Our cooked breakfast was cold when served the first morning but much warmer and nicer the second morning. The locks on the doors and arrangement of air conditioning were gerry built and difficult to use. There is a large building site next door but luckily it wasnt noisy the days we were there. Disconcertingly Basil seemed to spend a lot of his time keeping an eye on us. He complained of never getting a holiday although it was Sybil who seemed to do most of the work. We tried to be pleasant guests but we felt fairly affronted overall. I think we paid about double what the the accommodation was worth."

W pobliżu spacery są doskonałe i sklepy i udogodnienia były blisko. basen wyglądał niesamowicie, ale był zbyt zimny dla mnie w podróży. Staff był bardzo przytulny i kabina sama była bardzo wygodna."

"We stayed here for one night and had a blast of a time. We enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed in a beach front cabin right across the road from Shelly beach, watching sunrise and sunset was the ultimate. The park included a waterpark which both us adults and the children absolutaly loved and enjoyed very much, the waterpark was the main highlight of our stay here at the park. We would gladly book again just for the waterpark. Cabin was nice and neat with bunks for the kids and a queen bed in the room. Ceiling fans aircon fridge with all necessary things to cook and enjoy yourself. Just bring extra towels and your set. Cheap fun short stay for us. Thanks."

"Very happy with our booking and subsequent stay we had at the Bucaneer Motel at Long Jetty. Friendly service upon check in and the room was perfect. It came with all we needed for our short stay minus the unnecessary razzle dazzle. It was clean , tidy and cozy. Location was great too , close to a big park and the pelicans. 👍"

"I recently spent a week at this motel. No extra linen or towels were offered all week, and being Toukley with nothing to do at all u would think a smart tv would be essential at least but no. I had to buy a Chromecast. Also 8 hours after I checked out I got a very strange call from the Indian woman accusing me of stealing a bedside table! I drive a mazda3 no bedside table squeezed in there luv. Obviously a good way to scam new furniture and extra cash from housing. I won’t be wearing it though."
