Hotele w: In Hongcun scenic area, Yixian

Lovely traditional large hotel with modern facilities. Located within walking distance to all attractions in Hong cun. Room was v comfortable and luxurious eg Bvlgari bath provisions. Breakfast was v tasty. Staff were very helpful. Can request for executive vehicle to fro train station to hotel (pay driver directly). We felt our 2-nights there was like staying in a traditional wealthy man’s mansion 👍🏻 Highly recommended

This hotel inside the hongcun village was great! They helped me with a ride from the entrance and back to the station even when I booked it very last minute the same day. The room was very comfortable, spacious and had all the amenities I needed. The location is amazing, just by the moon pond, very centric to everything inside the village. Definitely recommend this place to stay during your time in hongcun!

We had a truly exceptional stay at Hongcun Nanhu View Garden. From the very first moment, we were welcomed with genuine warmth — the kind of hospitality that instantly makes you feel at home. The hotel arranged our transfer from the train station seamlessly, and even helped us figure out the best way to reach our next destination. Every question we had, every small need — they were always there, smiling and ready to help. The breakfasts were one of the highlights: homemade, authentic, and absolutely delicious. You can feel the love and care in every dish. The owner of the hotel and the entire staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and truly proud of what they do — and it shows. Staying at Hongcun Nanhu View Garden was not just accommodation; it was an experience. Peaceful views, beautiful traditional architecture, and a team that goes above and beyond. We couldn’t recommend this place more.

Very cozy stay! The traditional Huizhou architecture is charming, with carved wooden beams and a peaceful courtyard. Close to South Gate, the boss helped carry our luggage and gave clear travel tips. The room is clean and quiet, perfect for relaxing after sightseeing.

A great place to stay inside Hongcun. The owners had great communication and picked us up at the front gate with a wagon for our luggage. The room was basic but clean. Good location and short walk from the attractions. The rooftop view was not at the location but another one of the owners properties a short walk away. Was nice to have a walk and take in the view. If you’re looking for a place to stay while enjoying Hongcun I would definitely recommend.

It is always a risk to travel by yourself , as a woman, and as a foreigner. Also, booking hotels online might be an adventure. Many places show photos that are not real, and when you arrive at the place, things are not what you expected. This place was the other way around: the reality was better than the photos. The place was spotless, the rooms were beautiful, and the staff was extremely professional and kind. From the landlady to Xiao Wan , the housekeeper , who is a force of nature, is intelligent, strong, and capable of solving any problem you might have. As a woman travelling alone, I always felt safe in the hotel, and my things were always safe. No danger here!. The rooms and the hotel combine the best of China, tradition and modernity. Beds are comfortable with traditional and soft pillows. Beautiful high-quality bedding. Great and comfortable sleep! Technology everywhere and modern amenities. The hotel is placed in the best place in hongcun. Close to everything but calm and quiet. Best views of the river!! I will recommend this with all my heart to all the travellers, whether Chinese or foreigners. If you go to Hong cun,this is the best place to be! I will be back with my friends and family for sure! If you are looking for a place to stay in yi County look no further. This is the best place to stay in Hong Cun and in the whole county!

The Homestay is located not far from two of the entrances to the village of Hongcun, and one of the owners came and picked us up at the gates, and offered to carry our luggage. The house is very real, they have three lovely pets and are extremely welcoming and helpful. I speak a little Chinese so communication was fairly easy, but with the translation apps I guess it would be as easy. The owner was kind to explain a couple of things about the village and to give us helpful informations on our trip to Huangshan of the following day. She even made a phone call to ensure we could buy tickets at the departure of the cable cars. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is what we were looking for. Kindness and true people, and a charming room facing an extremely quiet (the village is loud of tourist shops) inner yard

Wybór tego pensjonatu był najlepszą decyzją, jaką kiedykolwiek podjąłem podczas tej podróży! Właściciele byli niezwykle gościnni, pokoje były komfortowe, a do tego zapewnili nam pyszne śniadanie. Wystrój i wyposażenie pokoju były bardzo przemyślane, z dbałością o szczegóły. Dodatkowo, widok był fantastyczny; mogliśmy podziwiać kamelie na dziedzińcu po drugiej stronie ulicy. Podsumowując, ta podróż do Hongcun była wspaniałym doświadczeniem.

Located beside the South Entrance to the village and facing the water-body (see photo of hotel with red banners). Unlike most hotels within the village, this hotel has conserved the architecture of the exterior and interior of the over 300 years old structure. It is well maintained with modern amenities and a nice manicured garden filled with bonsai plants. The Chinese breakfast was simple and nice. The menu has a good range of beverages and the food was good at reasonable prices. The room we stayed was small but cozy. It is within the main building and just outside the room there is a reading lounge. It was quiet and hardly used while we were there. 这不单是很特色的建筑楼房，我们仿佛回到了历史上了！ 小红和小桃为我们的服务特佳，给了我们很温的感觉！

The homestead is located inside the acenic area of Hongchun. It is very convenient to all the attractions and restaurants. You csn have a nice stroll after dinner. The hostel is very 'Zen Style' if you choose for the 2nd hostel called 'Xindeng 心灯'. The room is huge and clean. There also offer nice chinese teas for enjoyment. The homestead owner is also very helpful in arranging the transport for ferrying to the hostel and to another destination. However, it is much easier to communicate with the operator via Wechat which is local apps. Use Wechat to call for the transport arrangement for any purpose. The only minor issue is the early distutbed noise of motors and residents will wake you up in the early morning of 6am. The homestead is just next to one of the main lane.
