"Having stayed in a different hotel every day for the past three weeks during my bike tour, I can say this was by far the best hotel. Especially in the bathroom, there's a shower stall, so the rest of the room stays dry. The amenities are excellent! There's even a scale and a flashlight in the room. I had originally booked the room without a window. However, upon check-in, I was given a large, bright room at no extra charge. A truly, truly nice gesture! Thank you so much for that! The staff is very friendly and helpful!!! The breakfast buffet is perfectly adequate in my opinion. There's even a coffee machine, which is almost impossible to find anywhere else (in this part of China). If I had checked the wind strength and direction in advance, I would have happily stayed at this hotel for several more days. I highly recommend it! Thank you so much!!!"

"Do not stay at this hotel if you are nearsighted, the lights are very dim and limited, the lights are near to nonexistent, I felt as blind as a bat at night. Do not stay at this hotel in winter, they only have central heating system where you cannot control the temperature of your room and it was boiling, it was like living inside an oven and I felt I was dying from heatstroke. Even when you open the windows, another problem arises and it is that the door does not close properly, there are gaps all around the door so the door would constantly flap and make sounds from the wind coming into the room from the windows. In my experience from other hotels, the door normally closes seal shut but not his hotel. When you purposely leave your windows open when you leave for the day to not die of heatstroke when you come back, the housekeepers close them anyway. Do not stay at this hotel if you are an introvert, the housekeepers would either clean your room while you are in the room even when you have the “do not disturb sign” on or not clean your room at all. And even when you leave your room early to not meet your housekeeper cleaning your room, they do a terrible job cleaning. They miss rubbish bins and only take out one of them even when both bins are full and they fiddle with your belongings, they touched and folded my pyjamas, rearranged my toiletries and hanged my jacket in the closet and even wrote notes to me even when they know I am a foreigner and would not understand. This is the first time I experienced this type of housekeeping. Do not stay at this hotel if you actually use the “do not disturb” sign and expect people to not disturb when you have that sign on, because the housekeepers do not respect the sign, to them it’s nonexistent. They specifically choose a time when you are in your room such as at night after 6pm to give you your breakfast ticket for tomorrow and expect you to open the door. Do not stay at this hotel if you want to use free hotel wifi, the wifi at this hotel is practically non existent, the modem and booster are in your room and you can connect to the wifi but you just cannot use it, nothing was loading and nothing that uses wifi works. I told the hotel reception and they did send someone to fix it but after “fixing” it, the wifi could only be used for a few seconds and it as back to nonexistent. Do not stay at this hotel if you cherish your safety, when ordering take out, this hotel does not have a delivery robot and you will get a knock straight on your hotel room door by your delivery person. Do not stay at this hotel if you want to watch tv, the tv only had two options for the volume, the volume either blasted your ears and allowed all the surrounding rooms to hear your tv or the sound was nonexistent. The hotel overall was old and not modern. In my experience staying at hotels, this was the only hotel that does things out of the ordinary and I did not like it, a lot of the essential things/services in this hotel was nonexistent. Book this hotel at your own risk."
