The stay was a pleasant surprise! Location are great, it is in the city center lots of shop, very convenient, going to park entrance is a quick boat ride cost RMB15 and take 15 minutes. For those who want to stay near park entrance Wynadam & 漢庭 are the choice but this area is a little quiet. The hotel was just renovated recently so all is new, the room has everything I need, nice and clean, a 3 star standard, also wifi is great! No big & luxury lobby, no swimming pool, no gym; if those are what you want, book Star hotel or Wyndam, but you will pay several hundreds more, your choice. Rest assured the white swan is great if you are looking a comfortable stay. Breakfast is more Chinese style, I find very ok. No toast. For this price and quality received, I rate 10 out of 10.

2023.05.09 Stayed in Room 5107 of ”Baoli Hotel” in Duanzhou District, Zhaoqing City for two nights. The hotel has free parking, washing machine service, and a place to dry clothes. The decoration and configuration are the same as those of traditional hotels. There are carpets in the corridors and indoors, and the bathroom is separated from wet and dry areas. The room is large enough and hygienic. It is equipped with central air conditioning, sofa, wardrobe, etc. It's relatively quiet at night, so for food shopping, you need to walk a few steps and look across the road. There is a teahouse with a night market next to it, and morning tea is available only at 8 a.m. There is no other breakfast supply nearby. This stay experience was overall good and cost-effective.

I am very satisfied with my stay at Xinghu Hotel in Zhaoqing. The location is in the downtown area, opposite Qixingyan Archway Square. You can see Qixingyan Scenic Area from the guest room, and you can see the musical fountain at night. The front desk service is excellent and fast, and the handsome guy is of high quality. The guest rooms are large in space, functional and of high quality. Walk-in closet, bathroom with dry and wet separation, bathtub with TV. The housekeeping service does a great job. Breakfast is served in the revolving restaurant on the 29th floor, which is suitable for both dining and viewing. The buffet in the evening was very rich, and the hairy crabs were a surprise. The Chinese restaurant has good food and good service. Highly recommended.

Regarding how to visit Qixingyan Scenic Area, I personally recommend taking a wetland park cruise, because this project includes multiple itineraries of boating + visiting 3 islands, and the content is relatively rich. And you can watch and feed up close: flamingos, red-crowned cranes, swans and many other birds and animals. This is much more interesting than simply looking at mountains and rivers!

I booked 4 rooms and arranged them on the same floor for me. The rooms were very new and had no peculiar smell. The double bed room faces north, on the side of the road, overlooking Qixing Lake. The room is smaller and darker than the double bed room. The bathroom is also smaller than the twin room, and the space in the shower room is relatively small, making it difficult to turn around. The intelligent design in the room makes Xiaodu more convenient. There is its own parking lot downstairs. Parking must be on the sidewalk. The entrance to the parking lot is next to the lobby.

Sound insulation has always been based on character. Apart from this factor, I think the sound insulation is very good. I can't hear sounds from upstairs, outside the door, or next door. The hotel is located in the city center. It takes 3 minutes to walk to Qixingyan Archway, juice shop, roast meat shop, Yuman Garden and Song City Wall. There is also a cinema and supermarket downstairs. The restaurant ”Hao Ge Jia” on the second floor also produces good food at affordable prices. There are delicious coffee, KFC and bakery on the first floor, which is very convenient. Free laundry and drying are provided on the 9th floor. There are two washing machines with a capacity of 6.2 kg, so you can't wash too much. The dryer runs for 2.5 hours at a time, so don’t dry too much. The hotel provides convenience for everyone, but we also ask everyone to use it with discretion and cherish the public facilities. My personal approach is to wash children's quick-drying clothes by hand, and only put cotton clothes in the washing machine. It is a hotel with such excellent hardware and software. I hope it will continue to operate next time I come to Zhaoqing! The hotel provides free parking, but unfortunately I didn't use it this time when I took the high-speed rail. If I have a chance to drive to Zhaoqing next summer, I'll try the hotel parking lot.

Booked two rooms. Apparently our two single-beds room is bigger and came with a refrigerator. Our queen bed room’s washroom is way smaller and did not have a refrigerator. But overall experience is good.
