"The 'lake view room' we booked only offered a distant glimpse of the lake. Being on the 6th floor, the view of the lake was very poor and not worth it. Since we were traveling with seniors and children, walking to the South Gate of Seven-Star Crags and then to Longyan Cave was manageable, as neither the elderly nor the kids were keen on long walks.
