The hotel staff is very efficient and helped us order taxis, and upgadred us for free in order to have access to air conditioning, which thoroughly improved our stay. They also provide a wide range of activities in order to explore the desert, and a restaurant is available with a variety of choices. Overall, we would recommend this hotel and will definitely come back on our next trip to China!"

"The day of check-in the owner of the hotel told us we could not come and stay the night and to find a different hotel in the city center due to weather issues. While i understand that there was inclement weather, it was extremely stressful to have to deal with the owner telling us we couldn’t come. It was mainly because we had booked the tent as our accommodation but I strongly believe in that situation the owner should have upgraded us rather than telling us to go find new accommodation at 10pm the night we were checking in. After arriving in the center we realized the weather was fine, no rain and the wind was alright yet the owner was still being weird about us coming. We ended up going to the hotel and everything was fine. It’s in a good location and they picked us up from the parking lot and all was smooth. In terms of facilities, while it says towels are included as amenities we were given disposable paper towels for the communal bathroom. There was also insufficient cleaning services of the bathroom stalls, which smelled like cigarette smoke every day and 2/4 were locked at all times. The hairdryer didn’t work. There was also a lot of construction and noise during the day as they were setting up tents and bulldozing. Overall the accommodation was alright, but there are many other desert accommodations that seem similar that might give you a better experience."
