My stay at The Destination Manali was incredible! The rooms were spotless, cozy, and offered stunning views of the mountains. The staff was exceptionally polite and always ready to help. The food was delicious. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Manali, with easy access to key attractions. I had a memorable experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Manali.

Tucked away beautifully in the mountains, this place is so much more than just a hotel; it is a true sanctuary for the soul, and an absolute haven for anyone traveling on their own. As a woman traveling solo, feeling safe, respected, and at ease in my environment is my absolute highest priority. This property exceeded every expectation. The ambiance is incredibly calm and grounded, and the security and layout of the property felt entirely secure. The property itself beautifully balances a premium aesthetic with the raw, free-spirited energy of the hills. My room offered breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar range, making it the perfect spot for quiet morning meditations, journaling, and listening to the whispers of the wind. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the warmth of the staff. The hospitality here feels genuinely attentive and heart-centered, rather than just transactional. The team went completely out of their way to ensure I felt comfortable, looked after, and welcome at all times. The rooftop terrace is also a gorgeous, peaceful spot to enjoy an incredible meal while soaking in the panoramic mountain views. If you are a solo female traveler looking to reconnect with nature, find inner peace, and experience genuine Himalayan warmth in a safe environment, this is exactly where you need to be. I left feeling completely rejuvenated, safe, and deeply inspired. I cannot recommend them enough! I enjoyed my stay here overall, especially because of the peaceful garden atmosphere. It really feels like you’re staying in the middle of nature, surrounded by greenery and fresh air. In terms of cleanliness, I would say it was average. Since the property is located within a garden environment, I noticed that some areas showed signs of wear, including a bit of rust and mold in certain places. I believe there is room for improvement in maintenance and upkeep. That being said, what truly made the experience enjoyable was Kittu. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help. He took great care of everything and made sure my stay was smooth and comfortable. His hospitality really stood out and made a positive difference. The breakfast was also delicious and freshly prepared. It was one of the highlights of my stay and a great way to start each morning. One thing to note is the location. The property is situated midway between the main areas, which means taxis do not usually pass by regularly. If you need transportation, it is best to ask the manager to help arrange a taxi for you. The property is not within walking distance of everything. It takes some time to travel down to the Dalai Lama Temple area, and it also takes a while to go up to Dharamkot. Depending on your plans, you may need to arrange transportation or be prepared for a bit of walking. Overall, if you enjoy nature, greenery, and a peaceful environment away from the crowds, this is a lovely place to stay. While the maintenance could be improved in some areas, the warm hospitality from Kittu and the tasty breakfast made the experience worthwhile.

I stayed in a private room and had a wonderful experience. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the view from the room was absolutely beautiful. The peaceful surroundings made my stay even more enjoyable. A special thanks to Raj, who manages the property. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. I noticed that some of the dormitory rooms appear a little older compared to the private rooms, but overall the place has a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The property provides food for guests, and there is also the nearby Utopia Café where you can enjoy additional meal options. The location is in Upper Dharamkot, so it is a bit more secluded compared to the main town. However, this is exactly what makes it special. It is quiet, peaceful, and perfect for anyone looking to escape the noise, traffic, and crowds. If you’re seeking a place to rest, reflect, or simply enjoy nature, this location is ideal. The property can be reached by tuk-tuk, making transportation convenient despite the hillside location. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The beautiful views, peaceful environment, comfortable private room, and Raj’s hospitality made this a memorable experience. I would happily stay here again.

We stayed in a deluxe room for 2 days. Room & washroom were exceptionally clean. Geyser and heater were working very well. Quality of bed, linen, furniture all were very good. Location is close to mall road but an extremely stiff climb which will be difficult for most people who are not supremely fit physically. There are many steps to climb in the hotel itself where there is no lift. View: mall road and valley below is visible partly but in our room a big tree obstructed what would have been a great place to watch sunset. Restaurant: is available as also food ordered by room service but we ate in the several restaurants in mall road like chopsticks, alfa, book cafe etc, so cannot comment on food quality. Service: of personnel is nice and responsive. We asked for mattress, they provided folding bed with all bedding & blanket. Overall excellent hotel but the steep climb is a dampener.

I am disappointed with my stay at Legend Sarovar Portico Baddi. The room was spacious and the toilet was clean, which were the main positive points of my stay. However, there were several issues that affected the overall experience. The air-conditioning in the room was not cold at all, making it uncomfortable. The reception area also lacked proper air-conditioning, and the chairs in the lobby appeared old and worn out. Room service was extremely slow. We had to wait a long time for assistance and often needed to follow up multiple times. In addition, many food items listed on the menu were unavailable. We were told that the chef was not available, which was surprising for a hotel that offers room service. The TV entertainment system was also disappointing, as some apps such as YouTube were unavailable or not functioning properly. While the room size and cleanliness were good, the hotel needs significant improvements in maintenance, service efficiency, dining availability, and guest facilities. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works on improving the overall guest experience.

We had a pleasant stay for 3nights. The staff is very courteous, especially suraj who put great efforts to make our stay memorable. Hotel is close to hadimba temple only use the right route by calling the hotel n not the temple road. Food was very good. Hotel has a nice ambience and very hygienic

The location is peaceful and scenic, and it’s conveniently not too far from Shimla — making it easy to reach the town by taxi or private car whenever we wanted. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, with those lovely hill views adding a special touch every morning. Cleanliness was outstanding; the entire property was spotless and felt very fresh. The staff were extremely friendly and always ready to help. They took care of our requests promptly and made us feel genuinely welcome. Breakfast was a highlight — it offered good variety and was prepared with fresh ingredients every day. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable experience. We highly recommend Fortune Park Kufri for anyone seeking a tranquil stay near Shimla with great service and beautiful surroundings. We would love to return!

superb stay, got an early check-in Mr Ishaan is a very good host always smiling got upgraded from the back view to the front mountain view, Restaurant is also good would definitely be staying in the same hotel and would definitely recommend it.

Cleanliness is a ”four out of five”—which is standard for India. The photos in the app do not fully correspond to reality. The profile picture features an outdoor pool that does not actually exist. The toiletries provided were also an incomplete set—hair conditioner was missing. There was some confusion when ordering dinner: we were served a different dish than the one we had ordered. The manager claimed that *we* were the ones who had made the mistake, even though that very same dish had been prepared differently just the day before. Such details do impact the overall impression. Breakfasts were top-notch: a good variety of options, served by polite and attentive staff. All in all, it is a worthwhile choice, provided you keep these specific details in mind. I recommend checking the photos in advance.
