„Nice and comfortable resort; beautiful beach; first time experience hot sand bath in the hotel. Really enjoy. We are very lucky to have a passionate Taiwan trainee at the reception to help us going around the resort as we don't speak any Japanese. The breakfast buffet is delicious with many choice. Definitely would like to visit again and spend more days there next trip”

Plus, there are several convenience stores right across the street for your late-night snacks. 😋🌙”

„It was a wonderful stay. The hotel management was excellent, and the room was in great condition. I want to give a special mention to Miss Gotanda 五反田, who guided me after check-in. Her detailed explanations and warm smile set a positive tone even before I checked in. The hotel's hot spring overlooks Sakurajima volcano, enjoy hot spring while watching the sunrise was a truly delightful experience. I will definitely come back again next time.”

„We absolutely loved this stay and would recommend it to all travellers! We booked the corner room. The room was well illuminated by natural light during the day and we could see the river from our room. At night we could even hear the water flowing. There were two western single beds but we asked for futons for the full Japanese experience and loved it! The room was spacious and clean. There was a bathtub in the bathroom but we used the public bath (male and female separated) which was amazing. The public bath was quiet and spacious and there was a sauna room. Breakfast was served during 7am -830am with a well set table as shown in the picture. The staff was super kind. Just note that the walls were thin and you should expect some noise but people here are generally used to keeping their voice down. Another highlight is that you can take the bus of both the red and blue lines at the bus stop right in front of the hotel. (The blue line is for Shiratani Unsuikyo.). It is very convenient if you are not driving. The hotel is around 25 mins away from the ferry port and the walk there was pleasant and not difficult to find. Yet another great thing about this place is that you can rent mountaineering gear here at a cheap price, including shoes and rain protection. We rented the shoes here at 1,xxx yen per person (forgot the exact price) and they were very useful. It was raining for almost the whole 5h hike for us and the shoes offered a good grip and were sufficiently waterproof. You can also find little souvenirs at their shop. Honestly, it's impeccable!”

„Let's start with the pros. This hotel is basically joined to the JR Kyushu Shinkasen / Kagoshimachuo station which is joined to the AMU Plaza shopping mall and it also has a tram stop right outside the mall (Kagoshima-chuo eki mae tram stop). So in terms of location I think this hotel ticks all the boxes. The lady at the front counter who was checking me was very friendly, however, we both had to use a translator to communicate 😂 . I believe that is it for the pros. Moving on to the cons. This hotel is starting to show its age (and not in a good way). The room was small, the bathroom is vintage, it felt dewy and it gave me an allergy attack. The 3 gripes I had: 1) The fix AC near the ceiling was blowing directly onto the bed which was really uncomfortable. I believe this contributed to my allergy flare-up. 2) The bed and the pillow was not very comfortable. I did not sleep well for the couple of nights. Or it could've just been the AC. 3) The hotel didn't offer any bottled waters. I would rather they take away the cheap plastic toothbrush and comb and offer the bottled waters instead.”

„酒店服務人員都很友善，還有接送機服務！但是如果來奄美玩，沒有車的話，確實出行不方便。但是可以讓酒店幫忙定旅遊觀光出租車。 大家6月梅雨季儘量避開，天天下雨，不過我們很幸運有一天放晴，酒店有出草坪看星空超美！”
