20 minutes by feet (5 by subway) to Umeda station and 10 minutes by subway to downtown Dotonbori. Amazing location, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants are all nearby, but at the same time it's a clean and fancy neighborhood close to some parks and great alleys. There is a riverside alley right next to the hotel. I walked to most sights by feet and only had to use subway once since all the main sights are within 30 min walk. The room was barely big for my luggage though.

The location of the hotel is pretty convenient. 5–6 minutes walk to Hommachi St., which you can easily use to travel to Kyoto, Kobe, etc.  The check-in and check-out were really fast, and we had an upgrade, which was worth the price. I had read the previous reviews about the rudeness of the staff, which is not actually due to this, but it’s the language barrier that could make a tired traveller a little less patient.  If you wish to ask something more specific, please don’t be afraid to use the Google Translate app to help you with the communication. The staff have been really helpful to all of our enquiries. Some remarks were about the hotel lobby being on the 15th floor, but they have a dedicated entrance for taxis or cars to reach the hotel.  Bonus: if you exit through KoKuMiN Osaka Metro Yodoyabashi Station (Exit 4) on your right is a local grocery store that sells local produce and other fruits/food products. It's cheaper to go here to buy your drinks and fruits, etc.

This place was great! The service was super friendly and really helpful. My room was clean and comfortable, making for a restful stay. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good hotel experience.

Okolica hotelu jest bardzo dobrze prosperująca, bardzo blisko Dotonbori. Najbliższe wyjście z metra to Nihonbashi Exit 2. Zameldowanie i wymeldowanie odbywa się za pomocą automatów samoobsługowych. Będzie personel, który ci pomoże. Możesz zabrać własne przybory toaletowe. Na drugim piętrze znajduje się pralka i suszarka na monety. Mam nadzieję, że będę miał szansę zostać ponownie.

Location was next to subway and it works till midnşght. There is 7 eleven under hotel. Also starbucks is on the other side. Room was comfy and quiet for sleeping. Aircondition was very good. Bathroom was good. Laundry at 4th floor and around 5 dolar. There are only 4-5 machines so you might have problem on the line . Also my wise and debit card payment didnt work and l couldnt wash. Prepare your coins(100 yen only) check in was smooth. If you find a good price, you can consider it.

What a surprise that Hotel Nikko Osaka is kind of 5 stars services to us . A welcome warmth anniversary chocolate gift box on the table when we walk into the room. The room might look tiny but not really I can tell that. They have smart design on the long couch sofa with ample space below , thus we can open up luggage and put under the couch sofa . So smart and Neat design! Overall service is 5 stars like . They have plenty of counter with fluent English speaking staffs . No worries for foreign who can't speak Japanese. Highly Recommend to purchase room with breakfast along . They have provide both Japanese style and Western mix Japanese style buffet at different level . We have tried both restaurants for the different breakfast days . Overall Experience is superb ! Last but not least , we managed to purchase way bus ticket from Hotel to Osaka Kansai Terminal Airport that limo bus services by the Hotel Nikko !!! So convenience for us once again !!!

Zatrzymałem się tu podczas podróży służbowej do Osaki. To około 15-20 minut spacerem od stacji Osaka. Jest bezpośrednio połączony ze stacją Higobashi na linii Yotsubashi, ale ponieważ jest tylko jeden przystanek dalej, nie skorzystałem z niego. Jest blisko Dochika i Kitashinchi, więc nie ma problemu ze znalezieniem miejsca na jedzenie lub picie. Próbowałem zameldować się około 14:45, ale recepcjonista powiedział mi: „Zameldowanie możliwe dopiero o 15:00”. Po spędzeniu trochę czasu w okolicy, wróciłem o 15:00 i okazało się, że około 10 innych grup już ustawiło się w kolejce do zameldowania, co oznaczało, że musiałem dość długo czekać. Większość gości stanowili obcokrajowcy, więc wygląda na to, że są przyjaźnie nastawieni do turystów przylatujących, ale obojętni wobec Japończyków. Pokój był czysty, a udogodnienia były łatwo dostępne. Na drugim piętrze znajdowała się również duża publiczna łaźnia, w której mogłem się zrelaksować po długim dniu. Śniadanie również było bardzo sycące, z szerokim wyborem potraw.

Hotel znajduje się w pobliżu centrum Dotonbori, blisko Don Donki, i w odległości spaceru od Shinsaibashi i Namba. Jest 7-Eleven na zewnątrz, a także bez podatku sklep narkotykowy, który jest bardzo wygodny. Wejście i wyjazd były zarówno szybkie i gładkie. Możesz zostawić bagaż w hotelu, ale jest to na własne ryzyko. Mam nadzieję, że następnym razem będą lepiej dbać o bagaż, podobnie jak inne pobliskie hotele. Nasz bidet w szafce wodnej nie działał prawidłowo podczas naszego pobytu. Super Twin Room był czysty i przestronny, co docenialiśmy. Jednak mamy nadzieję, że poduszki mogą być trochę bardziej fluffier, ponieważ były dość płaskie. Byłoby lepiej, gdyby były dwa poduszki zapewnione na łóżko do dodanego komfortu

I’ve always loved this hotel — the location is superb, and the room size is amazing. I visit Osaka twice a year and have always stayed here without ever switching to another hotel. During our last two stays, however, we experienced an issue with the toilet, as the flush was not working properly. The staff kindly arranged a room change, which we appreciated. Everything was fine until one staff member informed us, “We found an ice cream stick inside the toilet. Please do not dispose of anything other than tissue.” Honestly, the wording was quite uncomfortable. A more considerate approach, such as “We found an ice cream stick in the toilet — may we ask if you had any ice cream?” would have conveyed the situation without sounding accusatory. The way this was communicated felt unnecessarily blaming, which was disappointing given our long-standing loyalty to the hotel.
