On the day of check-in, I arrived very late and said that I wanted a quiet room, so I was sent to the innermost corner. When I entered the door, the curtains were not tight, and I felt that it was even worse. I asked for a room change. Fortunately, changing the room was fairly fast, but the room downstairs was changed, because there was a block on the second floor balcony, so the lighting was not good at all. The three meals I ate didn't have a day because the breakfast ended at 10 o'clock. The lunch and dinner were similar, and there was nothing to eat. I didn't see any seafood except grilled fish. The pictures were deceptive. There are quite a few places to play, but the water in another pool with a slide is cold, so it can only be displayed.

Sorry for the long review, but I wanted to be as informative as possible and share the information I would have liked to know before booking. This was my 5th trip to Marrakesh and my first stay at Savoy Le Grand. I was quite nervous booking after reading some negative reviews, but overall I had a very pleasant experience. From the moment we stepped out of the taxi, we were warmly welcomed by Salah (concierge) and the Moroccan tea man in reception. From check-in to check-out (4 days later), all staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone we encountered spoke Arabic, French, and English, which made communication very easy. The foyer is beautiful, and the grounds are extremely well cared for—even more beautiful than expected. That said, there is ongoing construction and upgrades, which are not mentioned on the website. This is currently their quiet season, and the main construction is above the reception building, which is being extended upwards. Noise started daily around 9:15am, drilling around 9:38am, and finished around 6:30pm. Estimated completion is 1 May 2026. If you request a room near the second smaller pool, the noise is much less noticeable. The noise is louder and echoes more around the main pool due to the square layout. The hotel has four pools: two outdoor and two indoor. One indoor pool is heated and includes jacuzzi jets. There is also an additional indoor jacuzzi at the spa, charged at MAD 250 per person for one hour. There are three à la carte restaurants on site: Moroccan, International, and Italian. Directly outside the hotel are a supermarket, Paul, Chilli’s, and Papa John’s. Please note that outside food is not allowed inside the hotel. There is an ATM in reception and direct access to Menara Mall, which closes at 10pm. Special thanks to Nabil at reception, who did an excellent job checking us in. He listened carefully to my needs and arranged early check-in to a ground-floor room close to the restaurants, spa, and gym, with a garden and pool view. Soundproofing from the pool area was good, although hallway noise does travel. The grounds are beautiful, but the ground-floor rooms occasionally had a sewage smell, which I’ve also experienced at other Moroccan hotels. We did experience a few issues with our first room (heating not working, leaking fridge, slow-draining sink). Without us needing to complain, Soukayna from guest relations came first thing the next morning and immediately arranged for us to move to a beautiful suite. This level of customer service, care, and attentiveness is exactly what you expect from a 5-star hotel. In the evening there’s live entertainment music in the bar and outside a light & water fountain display. The suite was stunning—very spacious, with a separate living area, two balconies, lots of storage, mini fridge, large sofa, king-size bed, two TVs, kettle, coffee machine, safe, bathrobes and slippers. The bathroom had two sinks (standard rooms have one), plenty of toiletries (no washcloths), a large shower with both handheld and waterfall options, and excellent water pressure. There wasn’t much space to hang items, and there is a bidet hose beside the toilet. Thank you to the head cleaning lady for the final touches and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. I’d like to thank all the staff for providing us with a wonderful stay. I love the Moroccan people—they are humble, kind, and always willing to help. Despite the construction, I achieved my goal of relaxation and a short break. This is now my new favourite hotel in Marrakesh, and I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like part of the family. A huge thank you to Aziz at reception and El Houssaine, who were both absolutely exceptional. Their kindness, warmth and genuine care made our stay so special. They didn’t just provide great service, they made us feel like we were staying with family, and that’s something we’ll never forget. We came to celebrate our anniversary, and without us even asking, they surprised us by setting up a beautifully romantic dinner table. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our celebration incredibly special. It’s the little touches like this that create memories that last a lifetime. One evening, we got back from the Medina in the early hours after an adrenaline filled adventure exploring the bustling streets and markets. We mentioned that a nice cup of tea and some biscuits would be perfect to help us unwind, and by the time we arrived back, Aziz already had everything waiting for us with a smile. It was such a simple but incredibly thoughtful gesture that perfectly sums up the level of hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. A special thank you also goes to Yousara, for her warm greetings every single morning. The breakfasts were fresh, delicious and prepared with so much care. Starting each day with wonderful food made every morning something to look forward to. Thank you as well to another wonderful Aziz (who served us in the restaurant). Every day he looked after us so well, and when he realised our phone charger wasn’t working, he kindly lent us his own charger without us even having to ask again. That level of kindness and generosity says everything about the people who work here. And to the wonderful gentleman who welcomed us each morning at breakfast with a big smile and great energy, you made every breakfast feel special and set the tone for the day. We never forgot your warm welcome. Thank you for always making us feel so at home. The lunch and dinner deserves a special mention too. The chef is simply outstanding! Every meal was fresh, beautifully prepared and full of flavour. Honestly, the food here was far better than what we had at several of the rooftop restaurants in the Medina. We’re already missing every meal! The rooftop is something truly magical. Watching the sun set with the Atlas Mountains stretching out on one side, while the moon slowly rose above them as the sun disappeared on the opposite horizon, was breathtaking. No words, and certainly no photographs, can do that view justice. It’s something you simply have to experience for yourself. The hotel itself has everything you could want, stunning views, wonderfully comfortable beds, peaceful surroundings and an atmosphere that instantly helps you relax. It truly felt like a home away from home. To Aziz, El Houssaine and the entire team, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You didn’t just make our anniversary special, you made our whole trip unforgettable. Your kindness, professionalism and genuine hospitality are what make this place so unique, and you are all a huge credit to the hotel. This wasn’t just a hotel stay, it was an experience we’ll treasure forever. We already miss everyone and can’t wait to return. In fact, we’re already looking at booking our next trip, and this time we’ll be bringing our friends and family so they can experience this incredible place and meet the amazing people who made our stay so memorable. The service is very good. You can go to the spa and soak in the hot springs. The service attitude is very good. Most of the staff can speak English.

Located in a quiet, secure residence with a private indoor pool, complimentary sun loungers, tables, and chairs are available. Inside, both the common areas and rooms were exceptionally clean. Ayoub gave us a very warm welcome, and the breakfast was simple but tasty. Note: You need to inform them of your arrival time to access the residence, as there's no doorbell or intercom.

This is an absolutely stunning Riad. I cannot praise it enough. The courtyard is beautiful and full of trees and plants. The restaurant shares this space and is a wonderful experience to have breakfast, lunch or dinner among the trees and plants. We stayed in room Orientalle and it is just incredible. There is a balcony over the pool and plenty of room to relax. The artwork is also stunning, not just in the room but all over the riad. It is like staying in a museum. There are also many patios to relax in although we could not make full use of them as the weather wasn't great. The real stars of the Riad are the staff. They are simply amazing. Ahmed looked after us so well. Sorted out our transfers and organised a tour of Marrakech, booked a restaurant for is. Would always ask if we were okay was always ready with a tip or helping on what to do or where to go. When he wasn't there Khalid did the same. Khalid is also very friendly and helpful. It was great having them in reception just before you went out. As we had come to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary Ahmed had decorated the room with petals and had also arranged a bunch of roses for my wife. He also organised a special vegetarian dinner in the restaurant for us Housekeeping led by Latifa were great and the room was cleaned very well and repeatedly decorated with rose petals. Breakfast is a traditional Moroccan one and is very good. The star is however Oussama, our waiter. He looked after us every day and insisted we try everything and made sure we had a good breakfast. He is a very genuine person and truly wants you to have a good time. When we had dinner at the restaurant one evening he made sure we couldn't eat another crumb. A truly kind and sweet person I cannot praise the Riad and staff enough. It is not the cheapest place but for my wife and I it was worth every penny. The memories we have will last for ever. We will return

My stay at Riad Belikoss was OK, but not totally satisfying. The staff is friendly, the check in was OK. The guys at the reception (Larbi) and the boys at breakfast (rooftop) were very friendly. But the welcome drink (mint tea) was not hot. Hmmm. The room itself was not that bad, but for the price paid, the cleanliness was doubtable (see photos). Hopefully this can be cleaned better in the future if the management reads this. The breakfast was reasonable, with Orange juice, an omelette, a few pieces of fruit, a Moroccan pancake (msemmen) with chocopaste, honey and jam. I missed 2 things: yoghurt and Amlou (Moroccon peanut butter). This should be improved. And very important: my coffee was cold! They serve you black coffee in a small thermos can, but still it wasn't hot! Coffee should be really hot. Also, they served me back coffee only, and after asking they provided milk. It should be there in the first place. No salt and pepper on the table for the eggs. The amount of bread served at breakfast was small. Not too bad, but there are things to be improved. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was like 'where is the pool'? Is this it? Can't really call it a pool. Positives: The Air-conditioning was good. Room design and Riad decorations are nice. Room door (see picture) is old and green with mold. Should be replaced urgently. Curtains are not blackout, you will still have light coming in the room. Room is not sound proof but at night it was quiet There are only windows facing the inside of the building, no outside-windows, so no fresh air coming in, causing a lack of oxygen at night. If you get a very cheap room price (like less than 20 euros) it's acceptable, it's too much for this Riad. Conclusion: it's a beautiful Riad, but there are things to be improved. But Larbi is great, thank you my friend.

We didn’t have any issues there. In general the service is good even if there is nobody in the reception thus they give you your own keys of the main entrance and your room. As a suggestion it is needed a sign “Riad Nouhal” but anyway, if you follow the location on Google Maps, you will be in.

We had communicated our arrival time via chat, but when we got there, no one was around. Luckily, some other guests let us in. We tried calling and chatting to get in touch, and eventually just picked a room ourselves. The story does have an unpleasant ending, but this initial experience doesn't reflect the rest of our stay. The riad is actually very well located, the staff are friendly, and a lovely lady makes a delicious breakfast every morning with homemade bread and cakes. So, we think the bad experience was more of an unfortunate circumstance, especially since we arrived as the daily fast (Ramadan) was ending. A tip for the riad would be to get a doorbell that links to their phone. The amenities are basic but good. The value for money is excellent. It's clean, and with a good bed and a delicious breakfast, you don't need anything more. And they made sure we got a taxi back to the airport.

Enjoyable stay at Riad Jibril. The tourist tax was expensive compared to my previous trips, as was the transfer fee, which could have been included in the price. Otherwise, a very good location in a very quiet neighborhood with all amenities. The staff at the riad were very friendly and always available.
