I love this place. All personnel I encountered were very friendly and helpful. Nothing fancy but clean, roomy accommodations. The towels are super nice! Love that there is a kitchenette. The location is fantastic. Reasonable prices too. I would always recommend this place.

Great place to stay with a family on the Ocean City beach. This hotel is located in a more quiet section of the boardwalk. Has excellent amenities and activities for kids. Kids eat free at the restaurants and great service by the pools. Housekeeping was really backed up with cleaning the rooms as it was a busy time but they got to my room every day.

The hotel is very good, the health and room facilities are very good, the value for money, very recommended. The hotel is very close to Washington, about 65 kilometers away by car for an hour. Booking the hotel does not include breakfast but the hotel also sent breakfast, there are milk bread and fruit. The only downside is that the room and the room are soundproofed, and American hotels may have this problem.

This was a great location without being on the boardwalk, but close enough to everything. The staff was friendly, and the room was very nice and clean. Rooms have been renovated and new furniture and was very nice. The pool area needs a lot of updating. It’s faded, broken tiles on the pool, and they have a broken splash pad that has not worked for who knows how long. The free breakfast was adequate, however the area for guests to eat was very small and for some reason had an insane amount of flies all over which mad eating not great. Overall, I’d give this hotel a 6.5.

We were there for aau basketball tournament. It was perfect for the down time the girls had. They won and my dautter and I had a mini vacay. Perfect for fun and relaxation. Highly recommend!

Love staying here always nice and clean. Great for getting us to the airport and back! We always stay here when we fly out to WA state to see our kids and grandchildren at least 2x a year. We were just there in February and did not have to pay for parking. We were quite surprised that this time parking is now a fee, disappointing.

I am staying at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Frederick. It is a small but very pleasant and well-maintained hotel. The price–performance ratio is quite good. The rooms are nice, modern, and recently renovated. It is definitely a suitable option for anyone visiting this area. However, I was honestly surprised by the way the hotel staff strictly follow internal policies instead of focusing on guest comfort and flexibility, even in situations where a more guest-oriented approach would have made the stay more pleasant.

RRickAh, Baltimore, a city of rich history and eclectic charm. My wife and I recently had the pleasure of a stay at the Hotel Ulysses, a luxurious retreat nestled in the heart of this vibrant city. True to the reputation of the New York-based design firm, Ash, the Ulysses is nothing short of an architectural marvel. The first thing that catches your eye? The hotel's impeccable aesthetic. It's a masterful blend of old-world charm and modern design, encapsulating the very essence of Baltimore's diverse character. While the rooms might have been a tad on the cozier side, they more than made up for it with their plush comfort and attention to detail. The Ulysses truly exemplifies the notion that beauty lies in the details, and the meticulousness with which they've curated every aspect of the guest experience speaks volumes. The 19th-century charm of the Mount Vernon neighborhood is beautifully echoed within the Ulysses. The delicate stained-glass skylight, the ornate crown molding, and the preserved brass postal box serve as a testament to the building's rich history. But it's not all vintage here. The interiors seamlessly transition from the ornate influences of the Art Nouveau era to a more streamlined approach, evident in the hickory wood furniture adorned with Ash’s custom textiles. And oh, those hand-beaded lampshades and embroidered quilts! They added the perfect splash of color and quirk. A special shout-out to the carved flamingos that support the bedside tables, a delightful nod to Baltimore's own John Waters and his ”Pink Flamingos.” It's this mix of opulence and eccentricity that makes the Ulysses stand out. Booking through Trip.com was a new experience for us. A bit unconventional, sure, but it came through in the clutch. The $35 ”destination fee” threw us for a loop initially, but the $20 credit we received towards our bill at the hotel restaurant (Ash Bar) or the bar (Blooms) made it all worth it. Speaking of Blooms, what an experience! The mirrored ceiling, the crimson banquettes, and the purple stools set the stage for a night to remember. In a nutshell? The Hotel Ulysses is a triumph, an ode to Baltimore's multifaceted spirit. Whether you're here for the history, the design, or the sheer experience, the Ulysses promises and delivers. GGuest UserThis hotel is a bit outdated and its reflected in the cleanliness of the bathroom and other facilities. I also don't like how they charge $35 for an ”early check-in fee”. It puts a stain on the whole stay and makes the hotel appear less hospitable. At least other hotels you have a loyalty program or a rewards program that offers certain perks, essentially this hotel has no perks for folks who are repeat visitors and it seems like a cheap money grab. 4pm is pretty much the evening time and during my time there it was freezing outside. Negative wind chill, dangerous snow conditions on the roads and sidewalks but I should pay a fee to get to my room early when it's ready? I was placed in a small room with a bed directly next to the window and no matter how high the temperature in the room was, I had goosebumps because I was freezing. There was zero insulation. I also booked this staycation so I can relax and watch cable. The first room I was placed in didn't even have cable and I called and let the front desk know, the person mentioned an ”engineer” was coming to fix the issue and an hour later, it never happened. I ended up getting moved to a different room that night because I advocated for how cold it was and the new room had a working TV, but initially it was so much back and forth with the front desk. Makes for a less enjoyable experience. I will say the were kind in the fact I forgot some items in the previous room and they made sure I received it safely. This is a great location if you're exploring Baltimore but there may be better options for a similar price point that's more hospitable. The tub was draining slowly and the water didn't get too hot. It made me even more excited to get home because my own shower pressure and experience is so much better. So it wasn't even luxurious in that sense. There was also hair in the shower. So for all the ”early check in fees” and waiting until after 4pm to ensure the rooms are ”clean” it seems my room was barely up to hotel standards. The comforter was also a mess so I just didn't have a positive experience.

JJay BrignacThis was a short, one evening stay, out by 8am the next morning. I am rating this as a two star hotel, as it was what I wanted to keep everything in perspective. The location for me was perfect, as we were visiting the Cult Classic Brewery for an event. It was extremely convenient. The hotel wasn't busy, but check-in and check-out were efficient. The front desk was pleasant and fulfilled any questions I had. Our 2nd floor room was quiet and very new looking. I believe this is a ”newish” motel, and everything was very fresh inside. All room amenities worked, or did what they were supposed to do. I say this because too many motel rooms have outlets, USB ports, even lamps etc that don't function... so I don't take anything for granted. Everything was perfect in our room, just like it is supposed to be. This was a pleasure!!! This motel sits close to HWY 50 but we heard absolutely no road noise this time of the year. The location was convenient as I stated for our event, and even more so because a great restaurant was right across the street. If we walked 100 feet that was a lot, so we didn't need to move the car. The front of the motel faces toward the west (rear to the east) so we got a piece of the setting sun, and in general the ambiance of being so close to the water. There was also the Kent Narrows Christmas tree exhibit right across the street as well as the Fisherman's monument. So, a bit of fun items to view without needing to get in the car. The morning breakfast at the motel was included, and contained all the standard breakfast fare we have come to expect. While not busy, it was served as you would want it and neat and orderly. All and all, the hotel added to this short, get away trip from the Baltimore area nicely.

GGuest UserI booked an overnight reservation for my husband's birthday celebration. The entire experience was unique and simply outstanding in every way! We were made to feel VERY SPECIAL by each and every staff member with whom we engaged. We were CONTINUALLY welcomed throughout the stay from the person who opened the car door and greeted us by name to the very knowledgeable concierges, the room service staff, the culinary staff, the bellman, the driver, Lottie Dottie and EVERYBODY! The hotel was very clean and beautifully adorned with pictures, books, furniture, plants and artifacts that told the story of the hotel. This includes the very accommodating bedroom with a comfortable canopy bed and a pristine, spacious and updated bathroom. One could ALWAYS count on soul-stirring music playing in the background of every public space. Each tune moved us to murmur the lyrics regardless of where we were and what we were doing. Ever had a snack attack? No worries! The room was well stocked with a variety of goodies and beverages to soothe those evening urges. And, finally, let me praise the food selections offered to us at teatime and breakfast. Homemade jam, almond butter, muffins, oat flapjacks, chicken sausage, eggs, and more! This was quite an awesome getaway! And, yes, we would do it all over again!

GGuest UserOverall satisfied. The hotel felt safe and has a nice vibe. Location is in a less sketchy part of downtown, although I wouldn’t necessarily go for a night walk in the area. Conveniently located to some surrounding attractions like the Inner Harbor and Lexington Market. The room was spotless clean. The maintenance could be improved as there were some broken closet doors and holes in the wall. I informed the friendly staff and they told me they were aware. Other than that, well equipped and everything was there and working. Cleaning is not daily and depends on the length of your stay. However, if you needed anything you can ask and it could be provided. The breakfast buffet was okay, nothing special. There was a limited, but enough options. For fresh fruits they only had red apples, every day. The bar was closed for lunch during my stay. They had a small business area with a computer and a printer for guests. The gym was well equipped. The staff were friendly, welcoming and you can tell everyone was trying to make the guests have a nice experience. I would consider and return.

GGuest UserThe room was very nice. When I checked in I asked about parking. They said I could go around the corner and park, it is connected to the hotel, and it would cost $29 for the night. When I left the hotel and tried to get out of the parking lot, the cost is $69! I drove around to ask about this problem, the girl at the front desk had no idea. She took my email address and said the manager would contact me when he arrived. It has been 24 hours and I have not heard from the manager. Obviously I’m not very important to this hotel so I will never stay there again. They lied to me when I checked in and then never responded to my complaint. I would have booked a different hotel if I knew I was going to be charged $69 parking for one night! Stay somewhere else.

The hotel policy is that way, but only cleaned the room once every 2 days and no water or toothpaste toothbrush. Especially 3 people booked, but only 2 people were provided in the room. There was no bottled water in the room, so it was uncomfortable to ask the counter every time. Parking should be parked in the paid parking lot, but I got in the public parking lot in front of me in the evening and came out in the morning, and it cost $70. The belly button was bigger than the belly button, so it was a burden

GGuest UserPros- Hotel is clean, new and has nice lounge area by bar with comfortable seating and big screen TV over fireplace.  Shower has great water pressure and plenty of hot water.   Cons- checking process was terribly slow for us and many others.   There was only one person working at check in time and line was long and slow.   Room was fairly tight, fridge was smaller than usual hotel mini-fridge, bathroom did not have a vent.   Breakfast was average- sausage and scrambled eggs all 3 days , yogurt with plenty of toppers (seeds, raisins, nuts etc), hard boiled eggs and store bought style bagels (not fresh) and no pastries. Coffee was NOT available shortly after breakfast was over.  Most hotels have coffee available all day.
