Key Positives & Amenities Premium Accommodations: The guest room is exceptionally spacious, featuring a highly comfortable king-sized bed equipped with premium bedding (four high-quality pillows provided). Climate Control & Infrastructure: The in-room AC system is highly efficient, cooling the space to a comfortable temperature within minutes. Additionally, the bathroom is well-proportioned with excellent water pressure and a complete suite of complimentary toiletries. Modern Technology: The inclusion of a Smart TV with seamless access to streaming platforms like Netflix and YouTube significantly enhanced the in-room entertainment experience. Property Ambience: The hotel maintains a highly pleasant olfactory branding strategy; a subtle, welcoming fragrance is consistently present from the main lobby through to the guest corridors. Areas for Improvement (Operational & Service Delivery) Front Desk Engagement: There was a noticeable lack of welcoming engagement from the reception staff during both the check-in and check-out processes. While operations were functional, a more hospitable and customer-centric demeanor would greatly improve the arrival and departure experience. Rigid Housekeeping Policies: When requesting an additional towel, I was informed by housekeeping that this would incur an extra fee. Charging for basic linens feels counterintuitive to a premium guest experience and lacks a guest-first approach. Management Outlook: There appears to be a systemic complacency regarding guest relations, potentially driven by high occupancy rates and strong business demand. High volume should not compromise standard hospitality practices. Conclusion The physical property is in excellent condition, which ultimately guaranteed a comfortable and productive stay. While the hardware of the hotel is top-tier, the software specifically staff hospitality and guest policies requires refinement. Return Intention: Probable, contingent upon the prioritization of service standards.

I have to start with my highest rating first. The service provided by the gentleman who checked me in was top tier! Super sweet guy. Service was 10/10. I only stayed one night and didn’t explore the amenities so it wasn’t fair to give a poor rating. The cleanliness was okay, nothing terribly.  While the location itself was pretty peaceful, I’d definitely avoid this hotel, only IF you do not have your own transportation. It’s pretty impossible to get a Grab driver out to that location so that was the only downfall for me.

Overall, the stay was okay. The hotel is very near to Kuala Perlis Jetty, making it a good choice for travelers who need a place to overnight before catching the early ferry. The room cleanliness was quite good, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The only downside is that the hotel does not have a lift, which may be inconvenient for guests with heavy luggage or mobility issues.

Stayed at Hotel Seri Malaysia Kangar and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is located in a quiet part of Kangar with a relaxing atmosphere and a nice view of the nearby hills. The room was clean and comfortable, suitable for a short stay. One of the highlights is the swimming pool area, which offers a pleasant hill view and makes it a nice spot to relax. The surroundings are peaceful, and it is still convenient to find food and basic amenities nearby. Overall, a simple, comfortable, and practical place to stay when visiting Kangar.

We had a wonderful stay at this rest house. The place was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, making us feel comfortable the moment we arrived. The rooms were spacious, with plenty of space for everyone to relax. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, including comfortable beds and thoughtful amenities that made our stay convenient. The environment was peaceful, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The host was friendly, responsive, and ensured that everything was in perfect order. The location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and shops. Overall, this is one of the best rest houses we’ve stayed in. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely return. Highly recommended for families and groups looking for a clean, spacious, and comfortable place to stay!

I really enjoyed my stay at Cassia Rama 9. The loft-style room was modern, clean, and very spacious. The highlight was definitely the infinity pool on the 37th floor with an amazing view of Bangkok. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Although it’s a bit of a walk to the MRT, the free shuttle service works perfectly. Highly recommended!

Good location.. large room.. parking space very limited.. extra towel request charge rm5 per pieces.. 1st impression.. smell cempedak fruit in the hotel.. staff should not eaten inside the hotel.. others ok.. hotel phone line no working.. we called reception using own phone

The night shift front desk staff was rude during check-in. When I mentioned my booking through the Trip.com app, he denied it and insisted they only accept Agoda bookings. Despite my efforts to explain, he seemed displeased and unhelpful. The hotel is well-located near eateries and amenities. While it’s old and the rooms are dark, the price is reasonable and cleanliness is satisfactory. WiFi is reliable and fast, traffic noise is noticeable. There are no toiletries provided—only two small cubes of Lux soap. Overall, conditions are acceptable for budget travelers, but don’t expect much.

For Key and checkin, go to restaurant Hai Thien, and ask cashier. Excellent value for money. Newly renovated. Everything is new and clean. I had great sleep. Bed, lilen, pillow, towel all new and clean. Water pressure good and hot water works well. Single room small and well equipped. I had great stay oversll.Near Jetty and 5 min walk take you near Masjid Hussein. Opposite Masjid Hussein got Zus Coffee. For me, this is best location, if you want to unwind and relax. Sitting near sea shore good for mind and body.Highly recommended for Solo, Couple and Budget traveler. Will come again
