The best 4 days ever! Highly recommend this hotel! We were a group of 8 people and had an unforgettable stay here. The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination! On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient. I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant. Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it! The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed. The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey. There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times. The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes. A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather! The owner speaks basic English, and even though it wasn’t easy for him, he patiently explained everything to us in English with so much kindness and care. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable — even helped us search for a lost phone in the mountains! He also called us in advance before our arrival to confirm our plans and helped arrange a transfer to the train station after check-out. We wish him and his family good health, happiness, and prosperity. He and this hotel deserve not just 5 stars, but 1000! Wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. First of all, the hotel's location is excellent, right next to the ticket gate, and across the street from the core temple complex of Jiuhua Mountain. The temples are just steps away, making worshipping Buddha incredibly convenient! There's a direct bus to Huatai right outside the hotel, and the shuttle bus stop is just a minute or two's walk uphill, making it perfect for families with children and elderly members—no walking required. I must commend the hotel front desk staff on the morning of May 4th. When I checked out that morning, I left my jacket with my car keys in my room. I had already boarded the shuttle bus to Huatai, so I immediately called the front desk. The staff promptly went to my room, found my jacket and car keys, and placed them on the next shuttle bus to Huatai. I'm so grateful!!!

A truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of. During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service. But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing. This was not a tourist activity. It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries. My conclusion: This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

The hotel was excellent! The front desk staff upgraded my room for free, and the room was spacious and very clean. I had a very comfortable stay. In the morning, they offer a free shuttle to the South Gate of Huangshan, and they can also help arrange a car to Huangshan North. The service attitude was fantastic, highly recommended!

The conditions are very good, with a stove, washing machine and TV. The bathroom is very clean and tidy, suitable for a family to live in. The facilities are quick and easy to use, and the bathroom is also air-heated, so you don't have to worry about the cold when taking a shower!

I stayed in the same room type as Li Xian, but at night there were small crawling insects, more than just one, on the quilt. I guess it's hard to avoid in wooden structures during summer. It was bearable, but I still feel there's room for improvement regarding this issue. Most of the staff were gentle and polite, and the hotel amenities were well-equipped. However, sometimes they weren't very sharp; for example, even though I booked a meal at Ouyuan far in advance, they would still repeatedly ask about it. The hotel's location is impeccable, offering the best view of Yongxing Lake. It can get a bit noisy in the mornings with tourists passing by. In the evening, you can watch the fish lanterns at the hotel. While it's a bit out of the way, it saves you from the hassle of crowded places. The restaurant and dessert offerings were both good.

The room was nice, the service was great. The lady boss invited us to drink tea, she has her own tea garden, we drank Taiping Houkui, it was good! We were lucky this time in Huangshan, we saw the beautiful Huangshan, my daughter and son liked it, the fish in the boss's house was very fresh, the food was refreshing, we ate at the boss's house! I will come again if I have a chance

I checked in with the intention of giving it a try, and the room I booked was a pleasant surprise. The view was stunning from the window, and the environment was quiet and comfortable. It was a truly relaxing stay. The value for money was truly excellent, and the hot springs were fantastic. With so many different pools, I could find the perfect temperature for my needs, leaving me feeling completely relaxed. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The parking lot is spacious and free. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing place—it's a surefire hit!

The landlord is very enthusiastic and patiently answered my questions. The room is clean and tidy, and the decoration style is what I like. The landlord is very considerate and put some books for guests to read when they are bored. This is something I rarely encounter when staying in a B&B outside. Thumbs up👍

My partner and I had the best experience at Floral Hotel. The owner/manager goes above and beyond to help, and speaks very good english. He helped us plan our trip to Huangshan in depth, and his route was perfect and worked well for our plans. Highly recommend staying here for non-mandarin speakers wanting to see the mountain. The rooms are incredibly nice and clean, at such a reasonable price. The hotel restaurant is really good too and the atmosphere is very homely, with a cute cat. The location is not too close to the mountain but this does not matter as the hotel arranges transfers to the train station, and the owner even personally drove us to the mountain bus stop. The part of the town where the hotel is located is also quite lovely and quiet. Highly highly recommend staying here as a base for your trip to the magnificent Huangshan mountain.
