Hotele Pet friendly w: Niigata Prefecture, Japan

This small ryokan is a pleasant surprise. It is just 15 min drive from Yuzawa station. We had a choice of pillows, private dining, 60 inch smart tv, pleasant onsen. The only complaint is the room that is small and the attic sloping ceiling that risks knocking our heads against.

The place was very nice and cosy. We didn’t have a private shower but the onsen area and sauna are very nice. Food was excellent with so much variety and preparation. The sashimi were so delicious! Staff were friendly. Would highlyrecommend!!

旅館內的設施完整，有小廚房、洗衣、烘衣機，還有按摩椅，很舒適，外面離接騻站不遠，大約走5分鐘可到，接駁站旁就有小晚的雜貨店，可以先採買零食比較方便

The foreign language level of the front desk is average, and they can't communicate well in foreign languages. When checking in, I had to wait for a long time because other guests were invoicing. There was a smell of cigarettes in the non-smoking room. I had to open the window for ventilation by myself, and it was still very cold. The lid of the kettle was broken, but it could still be used normally. The front desk bowed and apologized many times, but that was all they could do. Not far from the train station, relatively quiet.

位置要走6-8分鐘，如果連行李一起走頗辛苦，如沒有行李的話位置算是十 分好

We booked an Ocean View Japanese Style Room The ocean view is fantastic. Breakfast & dinner included, good food. Public Onsen offers both indoor & outdoor A show in the lobby & there is a shuttle bus to Kitazawa flotation plant after the show. Excellent arrangement for the guests.

Keiko was a lovely host. She was super friendly and welcoming to the area. She was available for any questions we had and was also able to provide a freshly cooked breakfast/dinner at a very small cost. There was free parking behind the accommodation which was great as we had our own entry/exit after hours. The room was spacious, but while the heating wasn't very strong, the bedding was extremely warm and comfortable. Would be more than happy to stay here again any time we're in the area!

第一天入住時搭新幹線抵達越後湯澤站東口，旅館特地來接送我們，一到旅館就吃到老闆娘特意幫我們預留的美味晚餐。每天也都有美味的早餐和晚餐。 旅館內洗澡的地方是澡堂，男女分開使用，有洗衣機可以洗衣服。 旅館對面的雪具店很親切，有租借雪衣、雪褲、雪板、雪鞋、安全帽、手套、雪鏡等用具，並且很便宜。 早上到雪場滑雪及回旅館時，旅館主人也都很親切熱鬧地接送我們。滑完雪回到旅館有乾燥室可以放置雪具。 雖然我們不會說日文，但是用翻譯軟體跟老闆娘溝通，老闆娘也非常親切有耐心，整體而言這次入住是非常好的體驗！

It was an old folk house more than I imagined. トイレ and Fenglu は are common. There are no taverns or convenience stores if you don't walk a little. However, it feels like an old Japanese house. The atmosphere of decoration and corridor cannot be tasted anywhere else. I want you to stay once.

Great value for our 2 nights booking in the last week of March. Hotel seems to offer pick up and drop off services from the nearest train station but best to confirm directly with them. Breakfast was better than expected, and they even offer free usage of washer and dryer 👍
