Staff were very friendly & helpful. Couldn't really ask for more based on cost. Overall very nice.

We had a wonderful, quiet & undisturbed stay at the Anglers Lodge. The place is tranquil and was not crowded, so we really enjoyed the spacious grounds of the Lodge. The communal kitchen and bathroom facilities were super clean. Overall very well maintained. The pool and games room were much fun for the children. We did fishing at the bay right outside the Lodge. There is minimum 15-20min drive out from the Lodge to Coromandel and the Peninsula.

Really beautiful place, up a hill with wonderful views in the morning. The host was lovely as well. I was surprised by the shower system as it was unconventional for me but nothing wrong with it, simply a new experience for me !

The building is by the lake but only can see limited view from the room . The room size is big although a bit dated. I had the best room there no complaints.

Very nice motel close to the alpine crossing finished car Park . Very confortable room and bed with fully equiped kitchen . Quiet place also . Close to shop like New World . I really recommand this place .

三人出行，2人住客廳樓上2個單人床，另一位住最裡麪房間的雙人床，中間就是簡單的廚房和乾濕分離的衞生間。雖然有些年頭，但看得出，還乾淨的。這裏很安靜，旁邊是spa thermal公園，公園盡頭有個熱水池，秋天的景色太美了

Had Wi-Fi issues. The bathroom needs proper exhaust to control the moisture, and mold needs to be cleaned. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

This is a family-run hotel in New Zealand, with a warm and tidy layout. It has one bedroom, one living room, one bathroom and a kitchen. There is a large bed in the bedroom and a single bed in the living room. There are not many rooms, but all are very clean. The owner is very hospitable, providing bicycles for cycling, taking us to see the waterfall and sending us to the station after we checked out. The hotel is close to the lake, about a 5-minute walk, and about a 20-minute walk from the famous scenic spots. Highly recommended! Thank you, Tony. Hope to come to Taupo again next time!
