On the first day of our stay at the Shangri-La Hotel, when we went to the reception, most of the staff did not speak English. However, a lady named Zoe Zhou helped us wholeheartedly and was extremely kind and professional. Sugar was also very helpful, and we are truly grateful to her. We had a lot of luggage and it did not fit into our suitcase, so we asked a male staff member to bring us a box. He not only brought the box but also kindly provided tape as well. His thoughtfulness and willingness to help really impressed us. Overall, the staff’s sincere support and warm attitude made our first day at the hotel very comfortable and memorable. Thank you very much!

room was clean and spacious. No complaints here. Checking in and out worked smoothly. But 2 things I have to complain about: 1) I have no idea why some people say the breakfast is great. For me and my wife it was terrible. Possibly the worst breakfast I ever had. Yes, they have a lot to offer. But somehow they make everything taste cheap and ”weird”. I ended up eating some dry bread with jam, because I couldn't eat anything else. I suspect that they don't cook by themselves, but buy some cheap readymade food and sell it as ”fresh”. Also, the breakfast still looks exactly the same as the pictures from more than 6 months ago. No change at all 2) no option to clean the clothes is ridiculous. I have no problem to pay or wash by myself but both they didn't allow me to do. I never saw this before. All in all it's not bad. If you don't care about the breakfast and don't want to wash your clothes, this hotel might be for you. The rooms are good and the service also very nice (apart from ”you can guess” the breakfast staff)

They were always available to assist with any requests. ●The hotel offered a fitness center, pool, and spa, which I found very convenient during my stay. The gym equipment was top-notch. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. The food was well-prepared and presented, making it a delightful start to the day. ●The hotel is located in a central area, making it easy to access restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions. ●Overall, my stay at this hotel was exceptional. The comfort, service, and facilities made it a memorable experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

A best stay at this hotel. Highly recommend. Breakfast was great. Both western and chinese food were available. I will book it again.

Samodzielnie dojechaliśmy do placu, załatwiliśmy sobie reklamę, daliśmy pierścionek, zaparkowaliśmy na parkingu przed drzwiami, wysiadliśmy z hamulca, wyjechaliśmy na przejażdżkę, poszliśmy na mały pociąg, trudno było czekać, a potem skontaktowaliśmy się z kelnerem. Załatwimy ładunek i wywieziemy do obozu, obozie w centrum pustyni, piękna widok, ładna czułość, ludzie mówią, że to dobre miejsce, w nocy można pieprzyć sobie łyżki, w dzień można malować piasek, w dzień można malować piasek. To był wspaniały wycieczkowy eksperyment. Wszyscy się zapominają.

My partner and I stayed here during our bicycle travels in China. The hotel was very generous holding a package for us for several months as we traveled from Xinjiang through Mongolia and back to China. They also held our bicycles for a week while we took a hiatus to Datong. The staff were friendly and Mark spoke excellent English and helped us a lot with arranging for taxis or other things that we needed. There are not any restaurants or really other businesses nearby - we needed to taxi into town for anything. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean on our initial stay. The pool was just a few lanes and the gym was pretty sparse, but both exist. The restaurant breakfast buffet was expansive but also expensive. It was better when the hotel was busy and the food turnover higher.

We checked in during the morning and the place was really lovely, super clean. For the same price point, this guesthouse's decor is truly excellent! Folks, this should be your top choice. Plus, there's a picking area in the yard with organic fruits, and we weighed some to eat on the road. There's a small restaurant across the street with food. We didn't get a chance to have breakfast, but the owner said it's a buffet. Their stir-fries are really good, made with their own vegetables – highly recommended!

Reception is very helpful and extremely welcoming.. Mariott always lives up to its name. It's the only hotel that allows me to change money into smaller change. Room is comfortable and cosy. Worth every single cent. Location is great too. 2 malls are within walking distance.

The hotel is great value for the money you pay. All the staff is super friendly. They helped us if questions appeared. Big thanks to the receptionist who helped us and sent our delayed Taobao parcel to Beijing after we left. It was super helpful. Very clean they clean every day, bring clean towels, water and tea. The lift worked well. The breakfast was quite good - both western and Chinese options and vegetarian options appeared. Right in the city center of Hohhot. Comfortable bed. Nice cosmetics in the shower Close to many shopping malls and not too far from underground and bus stop. Nice modern design. Small shop in the hotel, very convenient. All was fine.
