„The hotel entrance is hard to see as there's no obvious signage pointing direction, however the owner of the eating shops downstairs was kind enough to point us the way without us asking, I guess it's a norm for them to see travellers come with luggages wandering around looked lost. First, need to go to the alley next to the last shop of the row (selling donut), walk to the middle of the alley, there's a lot of claw machines along the way. And there's lift lobby in the middle of the building, without signage. The sign for the hotel is seen only in the lift. The staff are friendly and helpful. Bottles of drinking water, shampoo, hair dryer, towels and face towels are provided, however cotton bud, toothpaste and toothbrush are not provided. The bedrooms looked like the picture given by Trip.com.”

Simply perfect... The overall quality and comfort were outstanding. The dorm room was spacious and airy, featuring a full-length mirror and a long table with benches in the center for guests to place their belongings. My bunk felt very comfortable and hassle-free, perhaps because I was assigned a lower bunk, which made getting in and out easy. The upper bunks might be a bit more inconvenient. A great plus was that even the lower bunks were quite high, unlike some hostels where the beds are so low you feel like you're almost lying on the floor. The shower facilities were very comfortable, and they even provided hair oil. The common areas were also delightful, cozy, and beautifully designed with excellent分区. Upon check-in, they gave me a small Tainan travel guide. I read it thoroughly and found it incredibly charming and useful. The memory of relaxing on the beanbag in the common area, reading and taking notes that evening, is still so vivid. All in all, I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Tainan.

Love the view from the room, amazing especially when sunrises. The breakfast is awesome and the hotel team really take good care of us throughout our stay. The room are spacious and clean. Location is secluded and it's recommended to have your own car to go around the area as it is more convenient.

After a chat, I found out the owner and I used to be in the same profession when they were young, which made for a truly interesting trip!

It is basically a mansion sitting in an exclusive neighbourhood. The location is excellent! It sits on high ground overlooking the city and you can view the sunrise from the balcony early in the morning. At night you can sit outside the garden and watch the city lights while sipping on a cold beer. The best thing about the place is the owner. He was very hospitable and drove us into town and back! In the morning we had a 5 course breakfast before setting off.

This is a great onsen ryokan. The front desk service is excellent, and the room facilities are comprehensive. The hot spring water is sufficiently hot, very hygienic, and clean. I definitely recommend coming again. Also, be sure to book breakfast in advance, otherwise, you won't get any.

Pros: 1. The hotel is central to zhong market, miyahara, sunshine outlet and other famous restaurants in Taichung. 2. Very clean room, nice bed and pillows. The housekeeper cleans the room everyday. 3. It has a smart toilet with bidet, shower, and smart tv. They give free shampoo, conditioner, and handwash. 4. They have a dyson hair dryer. 5. The bed and pillows are soft and gave us a good night sleep Cons: 1. The toilet is smelly despite being cleaned everyday. 2. Only 2 hangers are available and it wasn’t enough for us 3. There was an ongoing construction outside and it was noisy during daytime 4. You could hear some little noises from people outside or from people in another room but tolerable 5. Small room but big toilet area

The room was beautiful, facing the sea, and the terrace was very comfortable. The room facilities were new and stylish, with thoughtful details; the shampoo and hairdryer were high-end. The breakfast was delicious, the tableware was beautiful, and there was even an adorable dog to keep us company. The host was incredibly kind; since there's no Uber in Hualien, the host helped us book a taxi, and even gave us some local Hualien snacks as a parting gift. It was a very heartwarming experience, and I hope to come back again.

Stayed at Something Easy in Jiufen and honestly, it was such a gem! The staff were super friendly — they even offered to wash my clothes for free, which totally made my day. The view from my room was absolutely stunning; I could’ve just sat there all day watching the clouds drift over the mountains. The place had so many thoughtful touches and little amenities that made it feel extra cozy and well cared for. If you’re looking for a chill, comfortable stay with warm service and an unbeatable view, this is the spot!

It's a bit of a walk from the TRA station, but still within walking distance. From the bus terminal, it's just a short stroll. There's a Hi-Life convenience store at the bus terminal, and right next to it is a PX Mart supermarket. The unmanned front desk allows for smooth check-in if you have a ********* phone number, but it's also manageable with just an email address. However, in that case, you'll definitely need a SIM card with data or a portable WiFi router. Despite the very low price, the facilities are solid and clean. There's even a bathtub long enough to stretch your legs in, and it's fed by hot spring water. The high sink is also a convenient touch. Plenty of towels are provided, and amenities like a TV, air conditioning, hairdryer, and refrigerator are all available, along with numerous power outlets. There are even outlets by the bedside. I'll likely stay here again the next time I visit Jiaoxi.

Owner was very friendly and helpful to help us switch our rooms to a lower floor because there was no lift and we had two big luggage. Also provided us with multiple guides on where and what to do nearby Room was spacious for two and clean/well mainained as well. Breakfast was customised and homey and yummy! Location is less than 10mins walk to the night market and the direct sea view was great for early sunrise morning walks :)
