Hotele Romantic w: Kyoto Prefecture, Japan

Zatrzymałem się w hotelu Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo, a lokalizacja jest zdecydowanie jego atutem. Zarówno dworzec kolejowy w Kioto, jak i centrum handlowe AEON Mall znajdują się w bardzo krótkiej odległości, co ułatwia poruszanie się i robienie zakupów. Z mojego pokoju mogłem nawet zobaczyć centrum handlowe AEON Mall, co było miłym bonusem. Jednak pokój i wyposażenie wydawały się dość stare, mimo że były dobrze utrzymane i bardzo czyste. Oświetlenie w pokoju było słabe, co nadawało mu nieco przestarzały charakter. Zameldowanie odbywało się za pomocą maszyny samoobsługowej, a dodatkowo pobierano podatek za zakwaterowanie w wysokości 400 JPY od osoby. Obsługa była w porządku, ale brakowało jej ciepła i przyjazności, których oczekiwałbym od czterogwiazdkowego hotelu. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, czułem, że cena nie do końca odpowiadała jakości i wyszedłem trochę rozczarowany, pomimo świetnej lokalizacji. Jeśli szukasz bardziej nowoczesnej opcji, polecam rozważyć inny hotel bardzo blisko dworca kolejowego w Kioto, który oferuje niższą cenę, ale nowsze udogodnienia.

As a solo traveller I was surprised it is actually a love hotel which I did not pay attention when booking. It does not matter though. Very good condition and big space. Good breakfast included. It is also very nice having a massage chair. It is over 1km from train station which is slightly inconvenient from people with large luggage.   I did see a 1cm long bug on my pillow on the second day but I would think it is accidental considering the general cleanness is significantly better than most other hotels I stayed.

To hotel z bardzo dobrą lokalizacją i bardzo dobrą obsługą recepcjonisty. Stan hotelu jest doskonały, bez zastrzeżeń. Pokój jest duży, łazienka czysta, toaleta jest oddzielona od prysznica, jest też mała część pokoju, którą sprząta codziennie pokojówka. Jest onsen, siłownia i restauracja. Polecam. Jeśli planujesz pobyt w Kioto, koniecznie zajrzyj do tego hotelu. Jest naprawdę dobry.

Zanim się zameldowałem, czułem, że jakość usług była doskonała, ponieważ jest to moja pierwsza samodzielna podróż do Japonii, więc mam wiele pytań i potrzebuję pomocy.Kiedy piszę do hotelu z zapytaniem, zawsze mogę szybko uzyskać odpowiedź i dobra rada info. Po przybyciu do hotelu byłem bardziej pewien, że wybrałem odpowiedni hotel na pobyt. Otoczenie jest wysokiej jakości, zapach i atmosfera są relaksujące, piekarnia w holu i bar na najwyższym piętrze są również niezapomniane. Najważniejsze, że wyposażenie pokoju jest dobrze wyposażone i wygodne w użytkowaniu.Ogólnie jestem mega zadowolony. Wszyscy pracownicy obsługi w hotelu są również bardzo przyjaźni i cierpliwi.Następnym razem, gdy odwiedzisz Kioto, na pewno wybierzesz NOHGA!

Położony blisko stacji Shichijo i Kioto. Hotel oferuje darmowy ramen w godzinach 21:00-23:00, a także darmowe napoje i lody rano i wieczorem. W onsenach nie ma tłoku w godzinach 18:00-20:00. Uwaga: w hotelu obowiązuje zakaz noszenia butów, ale zapewniamy skarpetki. Śniadanie w hotelu można wykupić za 3000 jenów, a wybór jest dość duży. Ogólnie pobyt był przyjemny.

The room is big and it has all the amenities eg. TV, Big bed, jacuzzi, well equipped toilet, etc. All the toiletries are beyond our needs. Movies are free and breakfast are really cheap. The only drawback is the nearest metro station is 1 km away. But the room is value for money. Highly recommended.

Potel Umokoji Kyoto redefines what a hotel offers its guests. Firstly, the location is unique, an easy 5 min walk from the station ( Umokoji Kyotonishi) and 3 min train ride to the center of Kyoto. Yet this convenience is coupled with its location adjoining a large wooded park which some guest rooms overlook - a special and calm outlook right in the city centre. Rooms are large by Japan standards and both the Japanese style rooms ( super comfy ) and more traditional Western styled rooms offer a Scandanavian/ Japanese decor style which is both modern and uncluttered. In addition, guest services on offer include complementary DIY fresh brewed coffee and in the evenings, complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks . Can be taken either to your room with balcony overlooking parklands or in the guest book or music library, both offering a calm respite from a sometimes frenetic Kyoto CBD. Unique, special and largely overlooked by tourist group bookings, the Potel Umokoji manages to offer the ambience and guest experiences that many mass tourism venues have lost. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

The Gate Hotel Kyoto Takasegawa I stayed at The Gate Hotel Kyoto Takasegawa and had a mixed experience. The hotel’s design is excellent — modern, tasteful, and thoughtfully executed — and the location is near perfect for exploring Kyoto. One clear highlight was the outdoor courtyard seating: calm, beautifully lit in the evenings, and a genuinely lovely place to unwind after a day out. (Photo attached shows the courtyard, which really captures the atmosphere.) However, the service fell short of expectations. Our breakfast order was forgotten and only addressed after more than 20 minutes. On another occasion, the concierge provided incorrect directions on where to call for an Uber, which led to unnecessary confusion and delay. This reflected a lack of attentiveness and local familiarity that one would not expect from a hotel of this standard. Overall, the hotel excels in design, atmosphere, and location, and clearly has all the ingredients for a very strong stay. That said, service consistency and staff training need improvement to match the quality of the physical space. With better attention to these fundamentals, the hotel could truly live up to the high bar set by its beautifully designed environment.

Niepowtarzalny pobyt w hostelu z prywatnym pokojem, ale wspólną łazienką. Czysty i wygodny. Lokalizacja w Kioto jest idealna — tuż przy dworcu autobusowym, z którego wsiadłem do nocnego autobusu do Tokio (podziękowania dla dziewczyny recepcjonistki, która powiedziała mi, gdzie kupić bilet!). Do wszystkich głównych atrakcji doszedłem stąd pieszo, a po drugiej stronie ulicy znajduje się sklep 7-Eleven. Hol jest przestronny, świetny do jedzenia lub relaksu, a nawet oferują naprawdę ładne piżamy. Gorąco polecam zostać przynajmniej jedną noc, aby zwiedzić Kioto!

Loved the hotel. Incorporated modern and ancient architectures which gives it the ”Kyoto vibes”. The location was good as well, about 20 mins walk (Or 5 mins bus ride) to the shopping streets nearby. Easy to get around. Rooms was clean. The hotel vibes is great for a 3 star hotel! Staff were friendly and warm. Room size was just right for a couple. Really love the concept of the hotel. Feels like a 4 star hotel
