Location of the hotel is great. I came from Hiroshima.
The journey is very long.
I stayed 3 nights here.
Breakfast was kinda okay, they have alot of spread. I paid for 1 x breakfast at 3300 yen. Personally i feel the price can be lower.
Afew items to highlights were Tempura prawn, mentaiko, corn soup, soba and grilled beef.
They have welcome drink (tea/coffee/soft drinks) for certain hours. Topup 1000 yen you can get unlimited alcohol.
The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the station. And also they have 2 properties . Next to each other.
There’s 6 laudry machines. A sky pool, sauna and indoor bath (onsen).
I can see the hotel emphasis/uses alot of technology .
Your door card can be paid for many things (laundry and vending machine) including partner restaurants outside the hotels. Where you can charge the expenses to your room.
There’s a touch pad in the room, for you go control lighting, air conditioning , check hotel information and even control the TV. The only downside is the touchpad is very bright. It takes too long for it to go into idle mode.
The cast and mirroring was lagging for me.
As for the wifi, i find it weird that it only allows in my room. I had not as for the hotel wide wifi, not sure if there’s one.
The room wifi was okay.
The pool on the roof was great . You can see almost the whole beppu. Sadly I did not take photos of it. It was very chill . I would definitely stay here again just for the pool and onsen.
The room clothes hangers were kinda little. There’s only 4 of them.
The ice machine is at L2 inbetween the fitness center and the laundry. I would like to suggest to relocate it. As it is located directly next to the smoking room. And both times I am there to collect the ice with the cup provided, I almost out of breath from the cigarette.
The Washing machine had locking mechanism on it, so other guests would not take your clothes.
Select checkout was brilliant, they have 2 counters for it.
I ate a breakfast, did 2 laundry and one vending machine. It was calculated perfectly.
The staff at the reception were very helpful .
Overall the stay was good!
Will stay again if I am in Beppu.
Thank you .
The hotel is very impressive, and the overall experience was excellent. The staff speak English and provide excellent service. They also offer complimentary wine and drinks during happy hours, allowing us to relax and enjoy them after the onsen.
Had a very relaxing stay here. The place is super quiet and peaceful, and the staff were really nice and explained everything clearly.
We stayed for 2 nights with dinner included. The dinner set had good options, but you HAVE to try the cheesecake! It’s honestly the best I’ve ever had—so soft, rich, and moist. The portion was huge too!
The room was quite big and the hot spring was very comfy. Just a couple of small things: the view from the bath isn't much even with the door open, and the shower/tub area was way too dark. It felt like I was showering in the dark!
Overall a great experience, especially for the food and the service.
Hello, everyone!
We recently stayed at this hotel, and the experience was mixed — there are some nice touches, but also noticeable shortcomings.
**Room:**
The room was spacious but clearly outdated; furniture and interior look worn. The ventilation works, yet it still feels quite stuffy inside. It would be great if the hotel improved air-conditioning or installed mosquito screens: the sea view is beautiful, but opening the window isn’t an option because of too many insects.
**Facilities & Service:**
The only real extras are massage service and a shared onsen. There’s no gym, pool, or other activities — the hotel is designed for quiet relaxation. A shuttle service is available, which is convenient, but if you miss it, getting to the hotel on your own can be quite difficult. During this stay the hotel was quite busy, and it often took a long time to catch the elevator to our floor.
**Dining:**
Breakfast and dinner can be pre-booked; the food was tasty and varied. The bar offers a pleasant atmosphere with a decent drink selection, and in the evening the lobby lounge opens with alcoholic drinks and light snacks — a nice way to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
**Location:**
The property faces Beppu Bay, yet the seaside feeling is limited — there are few walking areas nearby, and due to insects it’s hard to enjoy the open air.
**Overall:**
A good option for a calm, onsen-style getaway with decent food and polite staff, but when the hotel is crowded, the lack of facilities and outdated rooms become more noticeable. With some modernization and better infrastructure, this could be an excellent resort.
The location is pretty good because it’s private. It’s suit for guest comes with the car. About 15 mins drive to downtown.
The room was big with private onsen, clean and simple.
The facility is only the public onsen, which is indoor with no view. The breakfast is quite basic, the taste could be more outstanding.
Located in a quaint little town which is about 1.5km away from Yufuin Station. Everything was perfect about this little Onsen Hotel/Inn and the food was beyond words could describe!
The only downside was to get to and fro the hotel from Yufuin Station. Taxi will set you back ¥800 per way. Bus will only take you about 750m and you got to walk the rest of the distance upslope to the hotel.
On the day of departure from the hotel, we pre-arranged a taxi to pick my wife and I up at 8.40am for our 9.07am train to Kumamoto and we were only informed that all taxi bookings were full at 8am.
My wife and I had a hasty but tasty breakfast before making our way downslope, onto the Main Street to Yufuin Station. An early morning Route March some would call it. 😂
Thank you Yuhri for giving us the best of your service and the private Onsen was more than perfect too!
The hotel itself is a bit older, and you can definitely feel its age in some areas of the property. That said, it still maintains a certain traditional charm. One thing to note is that the location isn’t the easiest to access on foot—you’ll really need a car to get around comfortably, especially if you plan to explore the surrounding area.
What truly stood out during my stay was the restaurant staff. They were exceptionally helpful, attentive, and warm throughout my visit. Their hospitality made the dining experience one of the highlights of the hotel. The meals were well-prepared and thoughtfully presented, adding a special touch to each day.
Overall, while the facilities could use a bit of updating and the location is best suited for travelers with a vehicle, the kindness and service of the restaurant staff made the stay worthwhile.
Ogólnie, miałem wspaniały pobyt i z pewnością wybrałbym ten hotel ponownie, jeśli w przyszłości odwiedzę Beppu.
Stayed at Enokiya Ryokan and had a really pleasant, relaxing experience.
It’s a bit of a walk from Yufuin Station, but a short taxi ride is easy and not expensive, so it wasn’t an issue at all. The location is also great, just a short walk to Yufuin Floral Village and the main shopping street.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Do note there’s no shower in the room, only a sink and toilet, but you can shower at the onsen and it was not inconvenient at all. The onsen itself is private and can be booked via their app, which I really liked.
I had dinner at the ryokan. It’s on the pricier side but not unreasonable, and the omakase style meal was really good. Breakfast was also nicely done with local ingredients.
Staff speak English, which made everything smooth and easy.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay. I’d definitely recommend booking dinner

Great
GGuest UserThe staff members were all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel overall was very cozy, particularly the onsens. Although all the four onsens were opened for all guests at the hotel, you can use one of them as long as you want because guests are instructed to hang a sign on the onsen to show that it is currently occupied. This is a great way for the guests to enjoy privacy to themselves, although it is opened publicly. Dinner and breakfast was included in the package so we did not have to worry about finding nearby restaurants. The food was delicious here! Would definitely recommend if you enjoy traditional Japanese meals to get the full experience. We had a private barbecue for dinner, and it was truly immaculate! However, there was smoke all over the hotel lobby coming from the barbecue so it would have been better if they kept the windows opened. It was also indoors so it was slightly overwhelming with all the smoke everywhere in the restaurant. But everything else was on point and breakfast was particularly delicious.
YYy3Fukuoka is hotter than ever this year. After interacting with locals, I realized that although it was my first time to visit Fukuoka, it was easier and easier to get around than I imagined. I knew very early on that I wanted to include the suburbs and Yufuin in my itinerary, and I wanted to stay there for one night. I was debating whether I should soak in hot springs in the summer and find a suitable accommodation for one person, so I found this B&B. It’s true that it’s not close to the station with your luggage, and it’s a bit hard in the summer. You can soak in the outdoor hot springs in the summer, and watch the stars, which are hard to capture on your phone. I went there once in the morning and once in the evening. After putting up the sign, it became a private soup. I like the sound of creaking templates, the exquisite breakfast boxes, and buying small things near the front desk. The boss couple are very hospitable, attentive and thoughtful, and the breakfast is delicious. I read the reviews and said I must order it, and I thought so too! Make sure to buy more snacks for dinner. Many shops on Yufuin Street close one after another at 5 pm local time. Plan your itinerary well. If you want to see more attractions, you can go to the nearby Beppu to see the hot springs together, or just chill in Yufuin. Very happy. When leaving, you can have your luggage delivered to the station. In this way, you can slowly walk to Jinlin Lake in your free time, and then eat slowly all the way back to the station hahahaha. Traveling is about experiencing❤

GGuest UserThis is my second time choosing this hotel! Absolutely impeccable. If you're driving to Fukuoka, I highly recommend this place. The food is great, the rooms are comfortable, and it even has a private onsen. It's a total win! 🫰🏼
AAnonymous UserWe booked a room with a private entrance and a private onsen for one night. The hotel is quite a distance from the station, about a 25-minute walk uphill.
The service was excellent; everything was explained and shown to us, and they spoke English.
The onsen was also great, though it was very hot and needed diluting, which wasn't an issue. It had a view of the mountains.
A minus for cleanliness, as the ventilation in the onsen was dirty. Also, you can't order breakfast on arrival if you didn't select it when you initially booked.
Overall, we really enjoyed everything.
2210716****This hotel is similar to a guesthouse in China, run by an elderly couple in their fifties. The woman handles reception and cleaning, while the man is the cook and general helper. Our group of eight had all four rooms to ourselves, so I feel I have a lot to say about it. The largest room in the hotel has a Japanese-style room, but the bath area there is a bit lacking. The other three rooms have semi-open-air baths with floating plates (edamame, sake) in the refrigerator, making it very romantic to eat and drink while soaking in the hot spring. The hot spring water can reach up to 70℃, so you sometimes need to adjust the hot and cold water taps yourself. If you're unsure, you can ask the man at the front desk for help.
Overall, it met my expectations. However, it was raining when we arrived, and the middle room, besides the dining room, didn't have a living room. They blocked our group at the door and asked me for 2000 yen – I was speechless! 🥴
