2-Star hotele w: Akita Prefecture, Japan

„We stayed two nights. It was a great experience. Room itself is good, bed is comfortable. Got onsen and free half portion of ramen and rice after 7:30pm, which is a bonus. Ramen is delicious. However, service for a part-time staff (a girl) was bad! This is the first time we experienced such bad service in Japan. First, her greeting was mean and rude, with no smile on her face and kind of ignoring the customer. Second, after we got the room key and get ready to take the elevator, we didn't know the way. She just kept ignoring us which a normal staff would show you the way to the elevator right after finished check-in. Lastly, after we entered into the room, we found out that the toilet seat was loosen. So we went down to the lobby to tell her about these. She was so unhelpful that she did not even want to come up to our room to see what happen, but just tild us to use the toilet in the lobby instead! At the end, luckily there was another senior full time staff just on duty, we told him about this, and he immediately went up to our room to see what happen. Will give this senior staff a 5 star. So other than that part-time staff (girl), all were pretty good.”

„The environment is very good. The hotel is right next to the lake. If you make a reservation, the merchant will pick you up at the JR station by car. The hot spring is also very comfortable and worth visiting.”

„非常好！房間很寬敞，很乾凈！ 頂樓的温泉不大，但是人也很少，還有冷水池子和桑拿。 如果人多大概體驗感就會差很多。 下午3點到晚上9點有免費的飲料喝。 和式房非常不隔音，隔壁打開書包拉鍊、刷牙都聽的一清二楚。早晨四點鐘被隔壁打呼聲吵醒。”

„During winter, the road for the last 800 meters before reaching the hotel is closed, and you must walk in. Guests need to park at Okama Onsen first. Before arrival, you are required to inform the hotel of your check-in time so that a staff member can guide you on foot to the property. The staff will help carry your luggage, but if you have many bags, it’s best to inform them in advance. The highlight of this stay is definitely the walk to the hotel. You walk deep into the forest along towering walls of snow on both sides, and eventually discover the onsen hidden in the woods. It feels truly special and secluded. The lobby area is not very large, and the number of staff is quite limited, but overall the service was very good. Dinner was served at a counter bar, and the chef was extremely friendly and spoke good English. The receptionist at the lobby, who is from Taiwan, speaks English, Chinese, and Japanese fluently. She explained everything clearly, helped carry our luggage on the way out, and even assisted with clearing snow off our car. Personally, I found the public onsen area to be a bit disappointing. The floor was icy and slippery, which felt somewhat unsafe. However, the private onsen in the room was excellent — very private, spacious for an in-room bath, with a beautiful view and wonderfully fragrant mineral water. The room itself was spacious, quiet, and peaceful. Mobile signal does not work inside the hotel, but the hotel provides Wi-Fi, which was stable and fast. Both breakfast and dinner were very good, and the hotel responded to emails and accommodated our special dietary requests, which we really appreciated. The only regret was that the snow was extremely deep during our visit, making it hard to fully see and imagine the surrounding scenery.”

„飯店位於田澤湖高原 可以在田澤湖車站搭乘巴士前往，約半個多小時 到達“上高原溫泉站”後下車再走約4分鐘就可以到 飯店在滿山裡的，所有積雪很多很有秘境感 飯店是那種滿傳統的日式旅館，含晚餐早餐都非常豐盛 房間是榻榻米，就是印象中日劇裡面常常看到的，氛圍很好 被子在進房間一開始就已經舖好，非常溫暖 大浴場一進去會有一點硫磺味，聽說對皮膚和肌肉痠痛很有效 浴場有內外湯，外湯看出去就是滿滿積雪，真的很有冬天的感覺 餐點美味，環境舒服，人員親切，非常推薦給大家”

„Hotel is pretty far away from Odate Station about 30 mins by foot. There are buses from the Station to the Hotel if you do not want to walk. Overall the price is reasonable and it is a decent hotel to stay in Odate.”

„The facilities are a bit old, but there is no inconvenience because they meet the necessary and sufficient. The hot springs were so comfortable that I wanted to stay in them all the time. The meal was not luxurious, but none of them were very delicious and happy. I want to go again.”
