The hotel room was extremely small, but the location was perfect.
It was very close to Hiroshima Station, and since it was located downtown, it was super convenient.
However, I was not happy with the room condition. It was especially noisy, probably because the walls were too thin. The noise disturbed my sleep every morning during my trip. On top of that, the room felt quite old and outdated.
Well, at least it was cheap. I guess I got what I paid for.
The accommodation was actually better then I thought. Starting off the staff was really helpful and was able to speak English. The floors are stuck separated by gender and I was on the sixth floor, which had a nice as well they gave great selection of amenities, such as sleep, clothing, toothbrushes, razors, towels, etc. they had a lounge on each floor where you can just chill in the surrounding areas. It’s pretty nice too with a family Mart being right next-door and nakau across the street as well. Pretty close to the attractions in Hiroshima all within walkable distance.
The place was quite clean, and the service was excellent. Laundry is super affordable at 200 yen, significantly cheaper than other hostels which typically charge 300-500 yen. They also have a dryer, so rainy days aren't an issue. The only drawback is that it's a wooden, detached house (not reinforced concrete), so the sound insulation isn't the best. Guests need to be mindful of their footsteps; walking heavily could lead to thumping noises audible downstairs, potentially causing complaints. Furthermore, showering is generally not permitted after midnight, as the sound of running water can disturb those on lower floors. Also, guests are required to make their own beds (sheets, pillowcase, duvet cover) upon arrival, and strip them off, placing them in the designated laundry basket upon check-out. If you're unwilling to do this or find making your own bed a hassle, you might want to consider booking elsewhere.
Amazing hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. I stayed here for 8 nights as I had to go to Japan after my torn got injured playing Rugby. My son, who was on crutches, stayed with me. They were very helpful with him when he needed to get a taxi to the hospital, etc. When needing to clean, the room the staff waited patiently for him to get up move. There were plenty of shops around to get drinks and food, a washing machine at the hotel to use. They offer breakfast in the morning, no evening meals, and there is a microwave available to be able to heat up meals.
To jeden z najlepszych hoteli, w jakich kiedykolwiek nocowałem.
Clean hotel in a very quiet street. 30 min walk from trainstation and 5min walk from the street train station. 30 min walk to the Memorial of Atomic bomb.

Great
TTorchbearerThe Moderate cabin size capsule was a lot better with the locker gate right under the bed with lock and key. No more climbing up and down capsules, while noises from other guests were less with more space. It's also located on 7F, so elevator wait times start becoming an issue. Overall I like the Moderate cabin size better. Staff continues to be accommodating with luggage storage
Location was also accessible enough to make 1st ferry to Miyajima Island first thing in the morning and still be back at a reasonable time in the evening
FFairyflossA nice budget hotel with good value for money. We opted for a larger room so the extra space was definitely a bonus. The room came with a washing sink and a large leather armchair, though we weren’t quite sure of their purpose as they took up quite a bit of space. The location is excellent, close to shopping areas and plenty of eateries. There’s also a convenience store just a short walk away which is very handy. While there’s no free parking, paid parking is widely available nearby so it’s worth checking around for the best rates. Despite being in a busy area the room was surprisingly quiet making for a comfortable stay. Walking distance to some attractions like the Hiroshima Museum, Dome, Garden and castle.
GGuest UserThis is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. I love the location as it is in a quiet neighbourhood in a low rise building which feels very cozy. It’s a 10 min walk to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.
The hotel staff were wonderful and graciously provided me an upgrade to their best room for my overnight stay. This room was incredibly spacious and the bathroom was huge as well. The shower is in a separated room to the bathroom and has both an area to do stand up shower or use the bathtub/jacuzzi.
I do wish they provided free bottled water but that’s my only complaint and it doesn’t matter much. I did have the free coffee in the morning which helped perk me up.
Anyways I love this place and it was such good value. I will definitely book this hotel again if I come to Hiroshima in the future.
GGuest UserOne of the best seaside Japanese inns with can’t-beat view of the bay. The individual rooms are very clean and tidy with traditional tatami floors and furniture. The futon bedding was clean and comfortable. There is a common bathroom on each floor with a separate common bathing room on the second floor where you can scrub down and soak in a bath. These traditional amenities are great experiences in themselves. The staff are kind and helpful and go beyond to make your stay enjoyable. They let me borrow a bicycle to ride around town and the island. Paddle boards are available for rent. The breakfast at the Alpha Cafe had an English style to it and was tasty. I’d highly recommend a stay here. The retro look and feel to the place is a charm.
GGuest UserBudget hotel, in a very lively location-perhaps too lively for my liking as was very noisy in the eatly morning hours. Staff were really great and attentive, and was worth the price paid.
GGuest UserWe stayed for just one night and were extremely satisfied! It's only about a 10-minute walk from the station, and there's a supermarket nearby, so we felt safe no matter what we needed. Furthermore, the building and the room itself had a very stylish, fashionable, and reassuring design, making it very comfortable. Thank you!
The bed in the photo is a little messy because we put our luggage there. 💦🙇♀️
TtorislimI'd seen Cyclist in a magazine years ago, and my trip to Hiroshima made it a must-see. Arriving in Onomichi, I discovered that U2, the most iconic building in the area, is a complex of hotels, restaurants, shops, and a cycling club. Even with its industrial style, the details are impeccable. The room layout was very practical, the bathroom had a bathtub and was spacious, and all the toiletries were from Osaji, with a very soothing lavender scent.
The only drawback was the lack of body lotion. Given Osaji's high-quality amenities, and considering Japan's dry climate, body lotion is essential in a space without a humidifier.
The hotel offers bicycle rental by reservation, but if you don't have a reservation, you can rent from the adjacent Giant shop, which has a wide selection of models. The hotel has a cafe and bakery right next to each other, so you can buy bread and then grab a coffee. The harbor view is amazing, but unfortunately, the weather wasn't great due to the rainy season.
GGuest UserThe owner was a very friendly couple, and it was a space that made me smile naturally. The facilities were very beautiful and it was a hostel that I wanted to come again. The pork burger for breakfast was also delicious! It seems that overseas people often stay.
It's a bit of a walk from the station, but there are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, and there is a public bath, so I think it's the best without complaint.
Vviva2548Budget friendly hostel in a good location. It is walking distance to Hiroshima station so it's very convenient. Only one thing my dormitory just next to the kitchen and it was noisy from the kitchen... People talk so lound and my last day early morning there are hangover backpackers in the room. A bit feels unsafe so stay alert
PPolinaAbsolutely gorgeous place and the nicest owner! Rooms are cozy and clean. Air conditioning is working perfectly even in this scolding hot summer. The food is amazing! We highly recommend to try both dinner and Japanese breakfast, it is wonderful!
Overall this place is very peaceful and gorgeous. Try to stay at least for 2 nights!
Thank you so much for your kindness and care, we will try to return next year!
