Me and my cousin had a pleasant stay here. The receptionist is very friendly and kind, she recommended us the famous local food (hainan chicken rice) and addressed any of our questions. Though the hotel and room interior is a bit old, but it’s clean & the bathroom is spacious, i think they just renovated it. The hotel is strategic and walking distance to Gerbang Malam.

we were greet with smile although it was 10pm. the hotel is very clean and have a spacious family room. the location is very convenient if you want to stay near to lost world tambun. plenty of parking space and nearby eateries. we will come back again

Always our go to option. Cheap with simple and good enough amenities for short stay. The layout option with 2 big beds with a sliding door works well for my parents and I giving enough privacy within the room. The hotel is just 10-15 mins drive to city and very nice dry curry noodle 😀

Zatrzymałam się w pokoju rodzinnym z pięcioma osobami, czyli ze mną, mężem i trójką dzieci. Pokój nie był zbyt przestronny, ale dla mnie był w porządku… było trochę miejsca na modlitwę. Pokój z dwoma przestronnymi łóżkami dwuosobowymi był bardzo wygodny. Łazienka była w porządku. Telewizor z podstawowymi kanałami MYTV. Hotel znajdował się naprzeciwko centrum handlowego AEON, więc było bardzo wygodnie. Brak windy, więc nie ma garnituru, jeśli są tam seniorzy. W pokoju nie było czajnika, ale hotel zapewniał filtr do wody na zewnątrz pokoju na każdym piętrze. Zestaw do prasowania znajdował się na pierwszym piętrze. Ogólnie było w porządku, szybkie zameldowanie. Przygotuj 100 RM na depozyt. Nie można wymeldować się później niż o 12:00. Zameldowanie o 14:00. Dziękuję.

Nowy hotel położony w dzielnicy miasta. Po pierwsze rozwiązuje problem parkowania, ponieważ dzielnica miasta jest w odległości spaceru. Hotel ma dwa dedykowane parkingi naprzeciwko i obok hotelu. Pokój jest czysty i jasny, wysokie ciśnienie wody, czysty pachnący ręcznik i prześcieradło, markowa muszla klozetowa i umywalka. Mimo że jest położony w pobliżu ruchliwej okolicy, w nocy było cicho. Jedyną wadą jest to, że kabel suszarki do włosów jest za krótki, więc muszę kucać, susząc włosy. Dostałem ręcznik do rąk jako prezent przy wymeldowaniu, jaka niespodzianka!

Nice place for a short stay at ipoh! The room was comfortable with aircond and a water heater, which made it convenient. Location is great too ,just a short walk to Mydin, terminal bus amanjaya and lots of food options around. Really handy for a quick trip.

YYauheniya Satsura🏡 Modest but Convenient Hotel Near the Beach We stayed at this hotel in Pangkor, and overall, our experience was positive. - 📍 **Location:** It's super close to the beach and the main street with cafes and shops – you really couldn't ask for a better spot. - 🏠 **Accommodation Style:** The hotel is made up of small bungalows, each with its own entrance. Most have a little terrace with a table. It's all very simple, but clean and pleasant. - 🛏️ **Amenities:** The bedding was clean, there was always hot water, and the air conditioners were powerful. The towels, however, are quite worn out and could use replacing. - 🏊 **Pool:** There is a pool, but it looked a bit gloomy, so we didn't use it. - 👥 **Staff:** The owners are polite and friendly. No deposit is required. There's a front desk, but it's not open 24/7, which is something to keep in mind if you're checking in late. 📌 **Bottom Line:** A simple yet tidy hotel with an excellent location. It's suitable for those looking for affordable accommodation by the sea without extravagant expectations. We were happy with our stay.

LLShannonWe travelled in a group of 3 female friends. I have to say I booked this place due to its industrial themed rooms. It's definitely nostalgic and rustic but the cleanliness is still very much up to standard. We even had a balcony and managed to catch a glimpse of fireworks in a distance. In the morning, we caught the sunrise as well. It's beautiful. The location is best! 👍🏼 it's just next to the famous Thean Chun Coffeeshop, where you get to eat shredded chicken noodles, popiah, asam laksa, Satay, char kway teow. Will definitely recommend this place to others. The only one thing is u will need a little patience when it comes to service. The staff left us standing aimlessly where she went up to the room.

GGuest UserThe BEST hostel I’ve been in my 7 countries Asian trip. The location, the services, the cleaniliness, the attention, all were great. The hotel is on a renovated old building with exquisite details and curated decoration elements. Everything is clean. The rooms are comfortable and the beds are big enough to have your small backpack in it. There’s a curtain for privacy and it wasn’t crowded. The other guest were very mindful of others. This hotel is relatively new, they opened in Nov 2025 so, it’s still getting known in the travel world. You can use the kitchen that has all the implements to cook, store items in the fridge and prepare a breakfast with ingredients that the hotel provides… free, great breakfast! If you need a towel they give you one at no charge… for now. The location is great. You can walk to the old town of the city and Concubine ln. It’s a really nice walk. That part of the city saw a past splendor and the buildings show it. There are several restaurants around, even some fast food. Two things I would review if I was the owner… I waited for an hr before getting my room while other people got settled immediately. My dorm only had 2 ppl in it, the room was ready when I got there. If you have a bed available, just give away even when there’s no the time. It means a lot to the guest that in general has been traveling long hrs, especially if it’s a small place with not many people. The other thing is to teach us (ignorant westerners), how to use the electric shower heater. I couldn’t make it work because I couldn’t find the on/off button. A small sign could have solved my and others’ frustrations. The owners are doing an excellent job at the hotel. I’m planning to come back so I’ll be a guest again at the Brownstone.

RRizalmanRoom 211. The parking in front of the hotel for cars and motorcycles is well-lit. I hope the basement parking's lighting can be upgraded to LEDs; it's currently quite dark and doesn't feel safe for solo women, especially when returning late at night, as there are many Bangladeshi workers around. The front desk feels more like an old-style guesthouse counter, with no proper lobby. Staff are okay. There's a RM50 deposit per room, but no record is kept; it's essentially a 'barter' system where you exchange the deposit for the TV and air-conditioner remotes. The lift works well for accessing the second and third floors. The hotel has been newly renovated and repainted, both exterior and interior. The walls and rooms are clean and freshly painted, the floors are clean, and there's hot and cold Coway filtered water available. An ironing board is provided outside the room. Inside the room, the pillows, mattress, sheets, sofa, and wardrobe are all new. The room itself is freshly painted, clean, and feels fresh. The floor is clean. The bathroom is also new and clean, with only slight signs of age on the wall tiles. There's a view of houses and a small hill. The hotel is located within 1-3 km of Ipoh city center. Being in a residential area, there are no eateries or convenience stores nearby. So, you'll need to order Foodpanda for food and Grab for transport, though it's only a 5-minute ride to town. The Panasonic air-conditioner, despite being new, cools very slowly; it took almost 3 hours to cool even half the room. I hope this can be fixed. I'm not sure if all rooms experience the same issue. The room is comfortable to stay in, though it's not soundproof. However, it's comfortable for sleeping. The hot water for showering is good. Excellent pest control. The door lock uses a sturdy access card. The TV channels are terrible and fuzzy; I hope they can install MyTV. Overall, the room is completely new, but I hope they fix the slow air-conditioning, improve the TV channels with MyTV, and upgrade the parking lights to LEDs. The front desk staff at Hotel Pinji should be more cheerful. I'm not sure if the Wi-Fi works well, but there is a password provided. If these issues are addressed, Hotel Pinji would undoubtedly be Ipoh's best budget hotel for various groups: bus tours, students, wedding guests, families visiting university/college/school students (especially when dorms are full), out-of-town workers, businessmen, local and international tourists, and bikers. Gym access costs RM6 for hotel guests. The room price is reasonable.

AArina AkhirOur first time checked-in here, and we were satisfied! Ample parking space, feeling safe and secured. The security guards were friendly and kind. Receptionists also very attentive and took good care of us until check-out. The room were comfy and large , easy to move around. The bed were comfortable, toilet clean. TV was a bonus, with Netflix and Youtube included, my children was totally happy ! Overall, it was a great stay. Hope the hotel can maintain this condition forever. Love it- 5/5!
