In the mountains~ It is more convenient to drive by yourself! There are not many people, very quiet~ It takes about half an hour to drive from Santa Claus Village Drive into the woods of the hotel. There is a kind of lonely beauty!! It is also very mysterious... There are also deer in the hotel! It’s a pity that I didn’t see the northern lights this time

I had a wonderful stay at Santa’s Hotel Santa Claus, which is pretty on theme. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The location is also very convenient, with the airport express bus stopping directly in front of the hotel, as well as easy access from Santa Claus Village. My room was very spacious, with high ceilings and a large bathroom, which made the stay very comfortable. The only minor area for improvement is the practicality of some of the room design, such as the bathtub allowing some water to leak around the edges, the kettle cord being quite short, and the high curtains being difficult to operate without a puller. Overall, these were small practical details in an otherwise excellent stay. I would happily stay here again and really appreciated the kindness and professionalism of the staff.

Northern Lights Village in Saariselkä is an absolutely beautiful resort with an atmosphere that truly lives up to its name. During our stay, we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights every day and almost every night, without needing to go outside for aurora hunting at all. Some nights, the aurora was incredibly strong, with vivid green and even red colors clearly visible. Seeing red aurora was especially rare and felt truly magical. One of the most unforgettable experiences was being able to lie comfortably in bed and watch the Northern Lights through the glass roof, right from the room. It was simply breathtaking and deeply impressive. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, with warm smiles that make guests feel well taken care of. The room is comfortable and thoughtfully designed, with heated floors, which is very nice in extreme winter conditions. On the first night, the room felt quite cold due to a power outage, so we had to sleep wearing warm clothes. On the second night, the temperature was much better and comfortable. Considering that the outside temperature dropped to around -40°C, the room may feel slightly cool at times, but overall it was still comfortable enough to sleep well. Bathroom amenities are mostly complete; however, toothbrushes and razors are not provided, which would be a nice improvement for a resort of this level. Other amenities are well prepared. Overall, Northern Lights Village offers an extraordinary and once-in-a-lifetime experience. Being able to see the Northern Lights so clearly and frequently, right from your bed, makes this place truly special. Highly recommended for anyone who dreams of experiencing the Northern Lights in the most comfortable and unforgettable way.

overall: Definitely the best accommodation in Saariselkä Geographically located at almost the highest point We saw the unforgettable Aurora on the first night we stayed 😭🥺 And it’s really obvious! ! ! ! The hotel does not have much unnecessary light pollution It’s just perfect for taking aurora photos with clear faces. The room type we booked is a cabin in the building. Highly recommend everyone to book this room type The design of the building within the building is really comfortable. There is also extra space for luggage, so it won’t be too crowded. Large floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to easily see the entire snow scene There is also a balcony where you can go out There are also plastic snowboards to play with outside the door of the room. Everyone has a smile from the time they check in at the front desk The service attitude is super good! After staying two nights we decided to book another night This time I stayed in a glass house It’s amazing though! But I would recommend the cabin more Oh, there’s more! Be sure to try their sauna Super big, super comfortable and very reasonably priced transportation: I think it is more comfortable to drive by yourself if you come to Saariselkä. Although the ski resort, the entire town and the entire hotel are not far from each other, driving will make traveling much more convenient. It will not be difficult to drive on the way up, and you will see awesome scenery. The view, overall very convenient. Breakfast: Sufficient portions, all you can eat salmon and various fish, together with beautiful views, the overall experience is very good Dinner: The hotel provides dinner at the same place in the evening. I personally think it is worth a try. In addition to the a**osphere, the food is also very delicious! It is recommended to dine at sunset, everything is beautiful!

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for and we had a very comfortable stay. The amenities were great, and perhaps because it was low season, the price was also very reasonable. The person at the check-in counter was incredibly helpful, explaining everything to us in very clear English, which was great since we don't speak Finnish. The private sauna was also a huge plus; being able to use it whenever and for as long as we wanted was fantastic. We would definitely love to stay here again.

Bad management during check in. I book an Apartment for 2 nights for this stay but I got the room for 1 night each. Staff told me I have to change room tomorrow and check out at 12PM. So that mean first night I stay and tomorrow check out 12PM and wait for a new room. Also, the apartment is very far from reception. Luckily, I have a car. Imagine if I don't have a car, I have to carry big luggage from the apartment to reception to check out and wait for new room later and move my luggage to new room again, how was it? Moreover, when I check out at 12PM staff told me the room will ready for check in around 2 hours. Then came back to check in again for second at 3PM another staff told me the room is not ready yet and policy for the Apartment check in time is 6PM. ***!!! I said I need the room now because this is unacceptable. Then staff told me the room is ready and give me the key card. So, for this situation I waste the time for half day to pack my luggage, move a lot of luggage to my car with a lot of snow, check out, go to reception for check out, wait the new room, wait, wait, wait, and come back to check in and got very bad answer that she told the room is not ready, and go to check in again, move my luggage to new apartment with a lot of snow, and take a rest. VERY BAD!!!!!

For the experience of staying in Igloo I would recommend this hotel. I provided a good environments and quiet surrounding. Unfortunately the season is unable for me to view the northern lights and snows. Walking distance to Santa Claus’s Village but I would recommend some street lights so I won’t so scary to walk back at night.

It was an experience out of the world during our stay here. We arrived early wanting to drop our bags but they allowed us to check in early anyway as our room was ready. The cabin itself was clean and spacious enough for 2 people. The bathroom floor was heated which was nice. We got to even see the northern lights from our bed even though it only lasted for less than a minute. One thing to note is cabins are located quite near to one another and with the glass panels, you don't get total privacy. Make sure to request for a cabin off the stretch of main road to have more privacy. We had breakfast and dinner here. Options were quite limited but understandable given the location. All dishes were labelled clearly, and we had no issues as vegetarians. We even saw some neighbourhood squirrels enjoying their breakfast. The place is very modern and managed commercially as a business, with everything extra requiring extra charges (you may even pay for staff to pick up your bags from your cabin to the main reception, which is a 2-5 min walk affair). Despite this, we think it's still worth trying out for a night to have something that's different.

I really enjoyed my stay at this chalet. It’s located at the quieter end of the resort, which I personally loved—it felt peaceful but still close enough to everything. The staff were super friendly and even helped send our luggage over, which made things so much easier. One of my favourite little touches was the complimentary hot chocolate, it just made everything feel extra warm and cozy. The room itself was great too, with charging ports right by the bed and such a nice view that you can enjoy without even leaving the bed. There were just a couple of small downsides, the heater took a bit of time to warm up, and there wasn’t a phone to directly reach the help desk. But honestly, those didn’t take away much from the overall experience. I’d still say it was a really pleasant and comfortable stay. You can also enjoy the usage of free sleighs that you can use to slide down the hill, reindeer feeding, public sauna, ice skating, snowshoe tracking, ice karting and a cozy restaurant Other than the sleighs, ice skating and snowshoe, all other activities require booking.

The service here is quite good, the staff in the recee will give you some useful advice if you ask, room is really awesome, geting a nice view from the balcony. The breakfast is also good. 服务很好，房间有阳台，浴室，桑拿房。风景很好，周边有几个餐厅可以吃饭。早餐也不错
