„I've always wanted to visit Izu, and after seeing recommendations online 🤔, I decided to check out this guesthouse. And it certainly didn't disappoint! 🫵 The owner is from Xi'an. After booking, you can message him on WeChat or email him to let him know your estimated arrival time in Izu. 👌 He'll personally pick you up from the station, and if you want to visit other attractions, he'll also drive you if he's available, saving you travel time. The guesthouse itself is beautiful 👏🏻, with a strong artistic vibe thanks to all the decorations. The proprietress is very talented 👍, and every corner of the room is stunningly decorated. I also have to praise the owner's cooking! 👍 If you're craving Xi'an specialties, you can ask the owner to cook for you. You can order à la carte or choose a guesthouse meal package (a heads-up: there are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby) 😜. We booked breakfast and dinner (for breakfast, you can choose between Chinese or Western) ☺, and the owner's noodles are absolutely amazing 😋. If you want to try Xi'an noodles, you can ask the owner to cook them for you (he mentioned they mostly serve noodles for lunch) 👌. I usually don't have much of an appetite for breakfast, so the owner specially made me a big bowl of Qishan Saozi noodles 🍜. Oh my god 😋, the sour and spicy flavors immediately opened up my appetite! Thank you to the incredible owner for saving my Chinese stomach! 🙏 Oh, and in the evenings, the owner will also take you to nearby hot springs ♨. If you want to experience authentic local hot springs, you should definitely try it! ♨ The owners are very easygoing, and after two days, it felt like we were old friends. I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Izu 🙂 and another taste of the owner's amazing Saozi noodles! 🍜”

„We reserved tatami room for one night. It was a bit hard to drive here as we need to drive through mountains. However, the room was so clean, and the service was so good. The dinner was served in traditional Japanese style, it was excellent and super delicious. The hot springs were lovely and privately designed, so cozy especially after a long day driving. Recommend!”

„最近バイキングの食事が多かったですが、部屋事に区画された食事処でゆっくりと食事出来ました、送迎のバスがあるのを確認しないで駅～40分かけて散歩がてらゆっくり歩いてホテルに向かいました、もう少し山の中かと思ってましたが、河川の近くのホテルでした、1階奥に湯治場にもなっている温泉があり源泉は2つありどちらも温めですが、外湯は熱いくらいで交互に入って最高でした。”

„Clean and well-kept hotel. Love the restaurant setting. Hawaii-theme hotel by the beach. Rate is reasonable, especially during the off-season. High season, a lot more expensive but if you love hotel by the beach with outdoor pool, medium size natural hot spring, this place is worth consideration. Great to go in early to mid February when the Kawazu sakura start to blossom along the river near the hotel - an easy 18-minute walk along the coast from hotel.”

„The hotel is old building,My honest review is I feel little bit disappointed with my room.I booked a room with a lake view. But when I’m arrived they give us the room that there was no view at the lake. The aircon is not really cold so we decided to open up a window. And I feel disappointed about the dining.In the boking site they included the pictures of there dining up to 90 plus over pictures of the buffet breakfast,That is none as I expected on the pictures of dining. Just an advice,To the management of the hotel.Can you please separate the area of the tables and the location of all types of dining pictures. Because as I expected to the pictures that you put into your dining buffet is all are available to the guest. But you only served a simple food buffet not fit to the room rate. And I suggest that hope you can re arrange your dining buffet pictures not to put it on one place,like Bars,wedding reception and etc. Because guests will think that it is all available when stay and booked it right away to think it was cheap but in the end it is really disappointing. Thank you!”

„Better than expected, clean and tidy! The hot spring in the room directly faces Mount Fuji, and you can enjoy the beautiful view of Mount Fuji while sitting on the terrace! The service is top-notch, and the food is fresh and delicious! Each building is independent and quiet, absolutely worth the money!”

„料理は、とっても良かった。残念な点は、ゴールデンウイークにもかかわらず、広い館内のあちこちに越冬した蚊が潜んでいて、こどもが沢山蚊に刺されたこと。4月末に虫刺されだらけになってかわいそうだった。部屋にも廊下から、戸の開閉で、蚊が入ってくる。10匹は、殺した。あと、１階の方の大浴場のシャワー温度が40度でレバーが変更できないのも困った。なぜ、温度を変えられるようにしていないのか？子どもは、熱いと言って、こまった。”

„I booked a room with one bed, two meals and an open-air bath (think it is semi-open-air?). The room is a traditional tatami room with two beds. The room is very large and comfortable. The meals are semi-buffet style dinner (including hot pot, salt-baked abalone) and buffet style breakfast (including Japanese and Western options, but mainly Japanese style, grilled fish, pickles). By the way, there was a little incident. I originally booked a room without meals and a bath on another website. After booking the current combination here, I canceled the reservation there. However, when we arrived, we were initially assigned a room type without a bath. This is the first time I'm so grateful to have a hotel staff who can speak Chinese, because the other front desk staff are older and don't speak English at all. After several communications, I was able to switch to the room type I expected and got a very satisfying and comfortable accommodation experience. Since the room type comes with a bath, I did not have the chance to use the Kori-kiri bath in the villa, and I could use the large bath in the main building. Unable to share the experience. Another thing to note is that I rented a car and drove there. This villa is across the street from the main hotel of Shihuahai, but it is not very noticeable. If you can’t see it by driving, you can see the welcome in front of Shihuahai. The staff can explain it to him.”

„This location is peaceful area in the residential area. Hotel's staffs are great, kind and helpful. Room is large, clean and comfortable. Onsen is very good. Free private onsen is the best but need reservation. Dinner and breakfast are tasty. Love them!!!”
