„We recently stayed for two nights at the Country Garden Seaview Suite by Nest Home. While the unit was clean and neat, there were several issues that affected our comfort: - The water heater was not working, which made showering inconvenient. - The sofa and cushions were wet upon arrival. Although a cleaner came and attempted to dry them with a hairdryer for about 10 minutes, the sofa remained soggy and had an unpleasant smell. - The room’s location facing a busy traffic junction made it difficult to rest. Noise from ambulances, car horns, and traffic persisted throughout the night, resulting in poor sleep quality. On a positive note, the room itself was tidy and well-maintained, which we appreciated. However, the combination of maintenance issues and noise disturbance significantly impacted the overall experience. We hope these concerns can be addressed to improve future guest stays.”

„I didn’t managed to take much photos however the stay was not too great. The location is near the highway and it’s pretty noisy in the middle of the night. We didn’t really had a good sleep. The toilet door handle was faulty. The hair shampoo and body soap made our skin itchy, it felt like hand soap. There wasn’t any local channels to watch, only from streaming platforms. The bed was sunk in and the pillows were too soft. The bedsheets also had some old stains. The customer service was very responsive and helpful so that’s okay. I wouldn’t really recommend staying in this room. Maybe higher floors are better.”

„Great and comfortable stay with a fabulous sea view. All great with prompt service via WhatsApp, spacious, clean, except that the toilets have bad sewage smell, and it’s abit cumbersome with the QR code on the glass door to the building, and sensitive key pad for main door code. Luckily response was quick enough to settle all issues. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will book again for big groups in future again.”

„Location was good n da sea view super nice ,da cleaning can be more better cos da flooring feel Abit sticky n a lot of ants ,n also da room without cabinet to hang our clothing 😅 , easy to check in n da office counter girls are friendly 🤗”

„A lovely and comfortable place, with easy access to the pool. One power outlet was broken and unusable, and we had to adjust the induction cooker every time we wanted to cook. A new electric kettle was promptly delivered after we reported it was missing.”

„I was looking for a quiet, serene place in Malaysia. I even consider Cameron Highlands, but was put down due to long travelling time. When my friend recommended Forest City, I straight away book it. The staff is responsive and quick to respond whenever I needed a buggy or have a question. The only down side is that the gym is too far from where I stay.”

„Service and responds were perfect. They got an extra miles to assist on changing my room jus to fulfill my wish/expectations. They do not hesitate to provide these extras service, totally willingly untill to a point I felt bad myself hehe. The room was very nicely decored and facing the sunset was an awesome view. 1 of the best staycation I had in JB so far, fantastically satisfied and no regrets on this apartment I decided to stay with. My family were enjoying perfectly as well. One thingy, would suggest the owner to provide with more floor cloth as the bath tub is inside master room. They have a very nicely decored later room with a tub inside facing the sea view, simply awesome! I will come back to stay with this apartment, next round I am going to try out with other themes ( all of them looks interestingly nice to spend the nites). Really felt the owner had a thoughtful heart and ideas to make our stay an unforgettable one, appreciated and a million thanks!!!! You shall definitely hear from me again real soon.🙏🙏😉”

„Service was very good, friendly and helpful front desk/reservation office. I had a request as it was my son's actual birthday on the date we checked in and the hotel kindly arranged for a complimentary slice of cake. The hotel itself is a bit dated but rooms were clean and spacious. We had 2 smoking rooms on the 13th floor which had a nice view. The AC worked well, the bed was comfortable and the fridge did cool our drinks. Usual toiletries were provided, no hand towels though. Water pressure was alright but you may need to request for a bathtub stopper (if needed) as this was missing from both our rooms. TV channels were a bit spotty, in one room all movie channels were grainy and in the other room it was actually worse, could only see a few local channels. Wi-fi signal was strong. Power points were far from bedside which is to me a major drawback as I could not charge my devices conveniently next to the bed. In one room, one of the power points did not work and we had to use the kettle power point as the other was underneath the vanity table. We didn't bother to call maintenance as we were only there for one night. Location was good, it's not in the city itself but not very far, maybe 10-15 mins by Grab. There's quite a few food outlets nearby if you're willing to walk out of the property. It's also attached to a mall but I think the duty free outlet was being renovated. We didn't really walk around the mall so can't comment. Seems a bit limited though. There's a 7-11 downstairs at the hotel itself for any snack emergencies. Lots of clubs and nightlife immediately outside the hotel but it didn't really interfere with hotel guests so that's fine. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming but wasn't terrible. There was no live egg station which is always a disappointment as the pre-prepared eggs became rather dry and unappealing. I saw bread and butter pudding tag which I thought was a nice, however it was not replenished while I was there so couldn't try. Overall, I guess it's alright for the price point.”
