„We booked the two-storey villa and truly enjoyed the beautiful scenery within the hotel grounds, as well as the excellent service. From the doorman, restaurant staff, electrician, to the drivers — everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. A special thanks to our Butler, Xiao Fang. She is such a lovely and caring lady — incredibly helpful, patient, and attentive. No matter what we requested, she always did her best to assist. I changed my boat-ride schedule multiple times, and she handled everything with so much patience and professionalism. Xiao Fang truly made our holiday more enjoyable and completely hassle-free. We would love to come back to this hotel again.”

Mieszkaliśmy na piątym piętrze w cichszym pokoju, w którym nie było okna wychodzącego na ulicę. Na szczęście piąte piętro ma sztuczny ogród ze świetlikiem na środku, który pozwala, aby wewnętrzne pokoje również otrzymywały naturalne światło przez duże szklane okno. „The hotel is well located. Behind it is Zhongshan road pedestrian walk. One minute walk away is a huge shopping mall. The nearest MRT Zhenghai Lu station is about 7min walk thru the shopping centre. Hotel amenities are very complete. I used their free laundry & steamer almost everyday. Washing liquid or detergent are also provided. Staff are extremely friendly & helpful in many ways. A special mention to 小钟 & 小纪 who helped me with booking of High Speed Rail tickets - which is a difficult process if booked thru 12306 app which needs a local contact phone #n for which I didn't have. Will I book this hotel again? A definite Yes..”

„Location is good and walking distance to local market, free shuttle bus station and restaurant. Hotel is a bit old but is clean. Staffs are super friendly and helpful. Recommended.”

„The hotel's location isn't ideal; you'll need to take a taxi to get anywhere. However, it's right across from the Jinjiang River and next to Xunpu Village. Since taxis are convenient and affordable, this isn't a major issue. During holidays, it's very crowded, and we had to wait until past 1 PM for our room. Those traveling with seniors and children should be prepared. You can store your luggage and go out to explore first. I stayed here two years ago, and the service and facilities were excellent. The executive lounge offered freshly made cocktails, and the beef noodles were delicious. The breakfast even had grouper porridge. To my surprise, this time, the breakfast was quite disappointing. The grouper porridge was replaced with Mianxian paste, and they said they adjust the menu regularly. Why not adjust the steamed dim sum? The meatballs at the noodle station were subpar. The vegetable dishes were mediocre, and the fried noodles were unappetizing; you couldn't even pick them up with tongs. Only the pastries and bread maintained their quality. The main reason I used to stay at InterContinental Hotels QUANZHOU by IHG—the grouper porridge—is now gone. I might consider other hotels with better locations and prices in the future.”

„I really liked my stay there. I do think it may be harder for foreigners to stay here compared to possibly other options as most workers do not speak English. I found it quite hard to communicate. However, I do recommend it and I personally would stay again. Especially as we overcame the challenges of communication and I was easily able to work with the staff. The bathroom and bed are amazing and I would love to use them again. The airport is only 10 yen away by taxi which is amazing and I honestly would come again.  I added two photos. The morning sun sparkled on the shimmering sea like scattered diamonds, and in the evening, the sunset painted the sky orange, making the horizon look like a spilled palette. This sea-view suite gave me an unforgettable seaside vacation. The room design was simple yet stylish, with light wood furniture paired with off-white fabric sofas, creating an immediate sense of relaxation. The most delightful surprise was the two-meter-wide panoramic bed, perfectly aligned with the ocean. I fell asleep to the sound of waves every night and woke up gently to the first rays of dawn over the sea. The high-thread-count Egyptian cotton bedding was incredibly smooth, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom was equally impressive—a huge bathtub right next to the floor-to-ceiling window allowed me to take in the entire ocean view while bathing. The hotel thoughtfully provided sea salt bath bombs and aromatherapy candles, showcasing their attention to detail. The toiletries were from a well-known brand, and their woody scent surprisingly complemented the sea breeze. The balcony was my favorite spot. In the morning, I'd enjoy a pour-over coffee while watching seagulls glide over the water. In the afternoon, I'd lie on a rattan chair, flipping through a book, letting the slightly salty sea breeze caress my face. In the evening, I'd sip a glass of red wine, listening to the ebb and flow of the tide. The hotel also thoughtfully provided beach mats and parasols, and a two-minute walk led to their private beach, which had fine, soft sand, few people, and beautiful scenery. Regarding dining, the hotel's breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, with the freshly made seafood congee and local specialties being highly recommended. The afternoon tea at the executive lounge was also worth trying; the desserts were exquisite, the savory items delicious, and combined with the unbeatable sea view, it offered excellent value for money. The service team was always smiling; they proactively upgraded my room upon check-in and even gifted me handmade shell souvenirs upon check-out. This stay truly allowed me to experience the poetic life of ”facing the sea.” Whether for a romantic getaway, a family trip, or simply to unwind, this sea-view hotel is an excellent choice. I look forward to my next encounter with the sea.”

„Fun experience staying in a tulou! As the listing says, it's a shared bathroom outside the tulou structure and a plastic bucket outside your room if you need to pee in the middle of the night and don't want to go out far. Bring your own toilet paper and soap just in case they've run out in the shared bathrooms. The room itself was nice and ours on the top floor had a window. Power and wifi worked great. The hostess was super kind and brought us to our room, made sure we could find our way back, and offered us tea. I'd recommend for the unique experience!”

„Very good service. Facilities also good. But a bit cold during the night for the rooms. Heaters were provided as extras but the air got really dry. Breakfast can be a bit more westernized with hot meals as the mornings were cold during January. But generally we enjoyed our stay very much. Staff were very friendly ,accommodating and attentive and we felt very welcomed. The staff were the best. ”
