The staff was super nice! The hotel room was spacious and I had a nice view. It was near China town and also Dejima was at walking distance. In fact, I could go to most places I wanted by walking (I do love walking). I loved the free 24h coffee machine and the free amenities were nice. I would definitely go again.
1. Both swimming pool and hot spring are provided with good stadium view
2. Staff are nice
3. Room size over 24 sq meter which is very big and clean
4. Room is comfortable and silent for sleeping very well
5. it is difficult to find hotel entrance by driving car and signage to hotel at nearby road is recommended
6. Free drinks are provided in refrigerator
7. Stadium view room is recommended for reservation
8. Car parking 2000 yen per night is a bit experience
9. Suggest Hotel to consider in providing stadium tour for hotel guests
10. There is no coin Laundry which is not convenient.
11. Not enoguh signage to hotel entrance when driving inside stadium
🛌 The room is spacious and clean, offering all the necessary amenities, including a microwave. The bathroom is exceptionally large. Also, all the lights are conveniently controlled by remote.
🏞️ The hotel is situated on a narrow street just off the main road. The location is ideal, with Peace Park Nagasaki and the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum within walking distance. A short walk to the tram station provides easy access to other attractions. A Lawson convenience store is just 200 meters away. Though the area is a bit dim at night, it remains safe for walking.
🚙 Parking is available for 1,500 Yen per night. While it might seem a bit high, but nearby parking options are limited. Additionally, the receptionist speaks English, which is very convenient for foreign tourists.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything about this hotel just worked. The room was clean, spacious and properly laid out. And the amenities were fantastic. From the natural hot spring to the massage chairs to the free refreshments and free evening (small) ramen. There is a shopping mall across the road (AMU Plaza) and also a tram stop a stone throw away. The breakfast was good but nothing to write about. And if that’s not close enough, there is a 7-Eleven next door (and connected to the hotel).
We are coming with family occupied two rooms. Front office staff are very nice and arrange us on the same floor. The rooms are big enough to open two large suitcases. The double bed is so huge that can sleep three people. The only complaint is the car park arrangement, this information need to post in the website for us to aware in advance as the carpark is not on the same building and there is no space to park the car for unloading the luggages. The front office staff only tell us we cannot drive through the building at that time cars cannot enter. We need to park to two designated parking areas which make us in a hurry to drive away the car.
It's a shame you can't open the window to ventilate the room. The system can't cope, and you breathe stale air, alternating between being too cold and too hot. Otherwise, everything is fine, a predictable level of comfort.
We were very happy with our stay at Hotel Wingport Nagasaki. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the train station and close to many shops and restaurants, which made getting around Nagasaki really convenient. Overall, a great place to stay and excellent value for the location!
The pictures over promise and the guest house under delivers. It is in a good location and the staff is friendly enough, but not all sleeping areas look like the pictures. Some private areas go width wise instead of lengthwise, so they have only half the floor space for standing up. And if you have an upper bunk, then the ladder takes up 20% of that floor space. Towels are not included. For the breakfast, you make the toast yourself from bread in the refrigerator. By 8:00 a.m., people are brushing their teeth and using the hair dryer in the center of the dorm room, so you won't be able to sleep.
Overall it's ok, and better than most capsule hotels. But don't let the pictures get your hopes up too high.
Excellent location just next to Amuplaza which is next to Nagasaki train station. Easy access from the station by just cutting through the mall.
Hotel’s location is also very central and easy connecting by bus or trams to places of interest such as Mt Inasa ropeway, Atomic Bomb Peace Museum, Glover Garden, Dejima, Gunkanjima Digital Museum etc.
Hotel staff are warm and hospitable too. The availability of in-hotel coin laundry service was tremendously helpful when we arrived.
Enjoyed my stay here thoroughly and will book again in future!

Great
JJethro_NganAfter picking up our rental car at Fukuoka Airport, we drove straight to Hotel Okura JR Huis Ten Bosch. The hotel itself is like a grand castle, perfectly blending in with the nearby Huis Ten Bosch theme park – quite a spectacular sight! The room was incredibly spacious, which is a rare find in Japan. We also highly recommend the buffet lunch in the hotel lobby; it offered a good variety of dishes at a reasonable price. Definitely worth trying!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location and cleanliness were outstanding, as expected. But what really stood out was how incredibly helpful and friendly all the staff members were. The person who assisted us with check-in was particularly amazing; knowing we had an early flight the next day, they went above and beyond by arranging a taxi, organizing a car to take us to the pickup point, and even showing concern for our meal plans. We're truly grateful for their kindness.
AAnonymous UserHotel is near to train station and bus station. About 1 hour by bus to/from Nagasaki airport, 2 hours by train to Nagasaki station. Consider far if want to go to Nagasaki downtown area. It is just beside the theme park so staying here for theme park is ideal. Hotel serves good breakfast and has in-house onsen. The staff was helpful to suggest route for me to go to airport as I need to catch an early flight. Hope to come back again to explore more area around the hotel.
__M1355235****It's located on a pretty steep hill, and there isn't much commercial activity around. You'll need to take a bus to get into the city center. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, conveniently named after the hotel itself. Make sure you get off at that stop; getting off even one or two stops earlier will mean a steep climb.
It's not far from the summit of Mount Inasa, and there's a direct bus. If you miss the bus after enjoying the night view, a taxi back to the hotel is only about a 5-minute ride and reasonably priced.
The hotel's own free rooftop observation deck is absolutely amazing, and enjoying a drink and the night view in the lounge is also very pleasant.
There's a shuttle bus service from the hotel to Nagasaki Station.
There's also a hot spring (onsen).
AAnonymous UserThe room was fantastic! The lobby was also very bright, and there's an outdoor area with a great view. The open-air onsen on the top floor was absolutely amazing, super clean, and incredibly relaxing! The hotel is right above Chinatown, making it very convenient for getting around.
TTrainbirdThe room was very clean and the employees were very friendly. There is a small but nice onsen on the 11th floor as well as a reading room containing a huge collection of mangas and even free ice cream! The hotel is located close to the train station and the tourist attractions can be reached by tram.
GGuest UserLocation-wise, the hotel is conveniently right in front of the Ohato Station of the Nagasaki tramway system, and is a very walkable distance away from many attractions including Dejimamachi, Nagasaki Shinchi Chinatown, and the Nagasaki Seaside Park. The cleanliness of the room and hallways was excellent and the front desk receptionists were kind and welcoming. The coin laundry room has 4 washing machines and 4 dryers (as of Sept 2025; do note that the coin laundry room feels like a free sauna when at least 4 machines are running), the wifi for guests worked consistently, and the smoke-free policy meant that no areas smelled of smoke. The air conditioning for the rooms was sufficiently cool, the lighting control and mini alarm clock by the bed worked well, and overall the room felt very cozy and comfortable to stay in. Because the single room has a relatively narrow entrance walkway, try to avoid bringing multiple pieces of large luggage as there may not be space to open them at the same time. I greatly enjoyed my stay here (especially it being my first solo trip), and would book it again if returning to Nagasaki in the future.
GGuest UserThis is a great hotel, conveniently located near Chuo-bashi (Central Bridge) and Nagasaki Station, with easy access to public transport. The hotel facilities are excellent and comprehensive, including a washing machine and dryer, a large public bath, breakfast service, and a bar. The 3rd and 11th floors offer panoramic city views through their floor-to-ceiling windows. The service is also superb, truly impeccable. One thing to note is that disposable slippers are not provided, so you'll need to bring your own.
However, there was one significant issue: my room had a strong body odor smell, and the entire 9th-floor hallway smelled the same. Even opening the window didn't get rid of it, and the air freshener provided by the hotel didn't help either. Perhaps I was just unlucky.
EEnrique Moya17min walk from Hakata JR train station. Facing the very tranquil Naka river. Entry to building and room is by following email instructions and QR code and is easy.
Room clean, everything in its place. Beds & pillows comfortable and clean. Everything works- including ironing board with iron, hairdryer, all kitchen amenities and tv (local channels).
We awoke to blue skies and the peacefulness overlooking river is beautiful to experience. Absolute silence as there are no roads nor crowds.
A very pleasant stay.
PS: only one issue - during the night, there was a periodic doorbell ‘ding-dong’ which unfortunately woke me up 3 times. It wasn’t our room, I even went out door but could not identify origin. I am a light sleeper, but the rest of the family slept thru it.
BBoganThis hotel boasts a wonderful location in a picturesque part of the city, right next to Glover Garden. It's the only hotel here, and it's truly magnificent. Housed in a meticulously restored historic building, it features modern amenities and offers stunning bay views. Everything you need for a comfortable stay and pleasant strolls around the area is here. The rooms are spacious with luxurious interiors and comfortable beds. Every detail has been thought of, from the coffee machine and bathrobes to all the toiletries. Getting here might be a bit of a trek, as the hotel is on a hill, about a 10-15 minute uphill walk from public transport stops. However, this is more than compensated for by its incredibly quiet location, free from bustling traffic and crowds. I'd like to give a special shout-out to one of the hotel staff, Peiyun Lin! She is an exceptional professional with excellent English (she's from Taiwan), gracious, and competent – an ideal employee. She responded instantly to our problem when we found a large cockroach in the bathroom! She arrived quickly with special products to treat the area. If only there were more employees like her! Thank you!
