„DO NOT STAY HERE! If you read the reviews you will see that many people complain about items being stolen from there bags. I have a strong suspicion this is the cleaners and instead of cleaning they are going through people’s bags. Upon check in we were warned by the receptionist not to leave any valuables in our room and to take them everywhere with us. Which is not what you want to hear at check in. Anyways luckily we listened to the receptionist as we had seen concerning reviews before staying here. Without surprise our bags had been gone through. Luckily nothing was stolen from us as we were smart enough to remove our valuables. However, still leaving an unsettling feeling knowing items were moved in our bags as they got searched, they even left the zipper in the incorrect position after as seen in the image. Despite this issue there were also a lot of ants in our room and the room wasn’t properly cleaned any time the cleaners entered the room as there were stains left on the counters and floors and I expect the cleaners were too busy trying to steal stuff. Despite these issues it is not the worst place and the location is good but I think if they just got new trustworthy cleaners then this place would be so much better.”

„Great container hotel. 40 rooms forming a circle around the pool. Spacious inside. Facilities are good vs other budget hotels. Breakfast is simple.”

„Excellent location- few steps to 7-11, mini mart and ATM; plenty of cafes and local food shops along the same street, 5 min to night market. Great breakfast- 5 types of fruits and decent portions of eggs breakfast to choose from. Coffee, tea, juice available during breakfast time. Reception- helpful, English speaking staffs Cleanliness- considered very good, washroom and shower room are clean and not wet. Vibe- mostly teenagers to westerners aged 20’s, who seem get along and enjoy spending time at lobby area during evening till late Downsides 1)AC off from 10am to 6pm; renovation of swimming pool started from 8am and it’s hard to chill or relax at lobby area during my 2 days stay. 2)Sleep- my room is the nearest to lobby area, the guests were loud talking, laughing the whole night till 2am + on my first night( I couldn’t fall asleep at all) the 2nd night karaoke and music bombarded from 9pm to 11pm, thereafter guests continued talking and laughing loud till late. Perhaps earplugs and eye mask could help with coping the downsides, given the overall consideration, it’s not bad for a quick night stay.”

„For our stay in Vang Vieng, we chose Hotel Ruby Mountain View Resort, and overall it was a beautiful and comfortable experience. The biggest highlight of this resort is definitely the stunning mountain views. Waking up to the dramatic limestone cliffs right outside your window feels surreal. The property has a peaceful vibe, making it a perfect escape after a day of exploring lagoons and viewpoints. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. One of the standout features was the bathtub with a view soaking while looking at the mountains sounds dreamy (and it is!). However, we did notice a slight privacy concern, as neighbouring properties can see the bathtub area quite easily. It would be great if the resort could improve privacy there for an even better experience. A special mention to Mary, the receptionist, she was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Her warm hospitality truly made our stay smoother and more enjoyable. Overall, if you're visiting Vang Vieng and want scenic mountain views with a relaxing resort vibe, this is a lovely option. With a small improvement in bathtub privacy, it would be absolutely perfect!”

„Ostatnio przebywał w hotelu Oudomsin w Vang Vieng i miał fantastyczne doświadczenie. Lokalizacja jest doskonała, ułatwiając odkrycie otaczającej okolicy. Pokój był przestronny, czysty i niesamowicie przytulny, oferując wygodny wycofanie się po dniu przygody. Hotel oferuje również piękny basen, idealny do relaksu popołudniowego. Śniadanie było wyróżnieniem, z różnymi pysznymi opcjami na początek dnia. Bardzo cieszyłem się pobytem i zdecydowanie wybrałbym Oudomsin Hotel ponownie na moją kolejną wizytę w Vang Vieng. Bardzo polecany!”

„The location was great. It's close to restaurant and bar but the hotel was not too much clean such as hallway (They are still in renovating may be...) Due to too close to river, there are too much mosquitos and take care of these. Others that would like to suggestion the hotel. The hotel should not let the dogs free on lobby, hallway. The guest is pay for vacation and place for relax and some people are not comfortable on them. All of suggestions for hotel to development services and if i have chance to go back, i will visit once. :)”

„L’hôtel est idéalement placé. Le personnel est très sympathique et accueillant. Les machines sont moins cher que dans les autres endroits en ville et le linge est propre et sec. La chambre est très convenable, le ménage est OK, toutefois il y avait pas mal de fourmis. Le strict nécessaire est mis à disposition (gel douche, serviette, eau, café/thé). Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel ! Il y a beaucoup de choix puisque le petit déjeuner est à la carte et il est très copieux (boisson, assiette de fruits, pain de mie en libre service et l’assiette choisie). La piscine est très agréable. Au vu du prix je recommande vivement, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.”

„This stay truly exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right in the city center. There are plenty of dining options, shopping, and attractions nearby, so getting around is a breeze – you can go anywhere easily. The hotel environment is also very comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, making for a relaxing stay. My favorite parts were the pool and billiards area; it was great to unwind there in the evening, creating a wonderful vibe! Breakfast is served on the 5th floor from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM. It's super convenient to have it right in the hotel, and the variety was good, really starting the day off right. The hotel has 8 floors in total. If you want a more comfortable stay with better views, I highly recommend choosing the Deluxe View Room. The scenery outside the window is truly beautiful and makes for fantastic photos. If you're on a budget, the Economy or Standard rooms are also great value for money. Regardless of the room type you choose, you still get access to the hotel's public areas like the pool and breakfast area, and you can still enjoy the mountain views surrounding the hotel. Overall, the experience is excellent. Overall, it's perfect for a vacation or a trip with friends. I'll definitely be back next time, and I highly recommend it to everyone!”

„Excellent Stay at Kinton Hotel – Highly Recommended! I had an amazing stay at Kinton Hotel. The place is packed with amenities and the service is truly top-notch. They provided free pick-up and drop-off, which made everything smooth and hassle-free. One huge plus is their self-service laundry and dryer – super useful, especially if you’re doing outdoor activities or a longer trip. The food was quite good, and the cleanliness was exceptional. On the first day, our room was accidentally missed during cleaning, but they immediately sent someone up as soon as we let them know – great responsiveness. I also booked via Trip.com, where it mentioned late checkout. The hotel honored that without hesitation, which I really appreciated. For a city that’s full of parties and adventures, it’s great to come back to a comfortable, clean, and calm hotel like this. The price is very reasonable for what you get – maybe even a bit more value than you pay for. If you’re visiting Vang Vieng, I highly recommend staying here. 👍”
